Sango woke up, and looked around. Everyone in their group was still asleep. Inu Yasha in a tree branch, Kagome and Shippo in Kagome's sleeping bag thing, and Miroku, leaning against a tree, his staff in hand. And, of course, Kirara, curled up in a small ball next to her. Sango sighed. `Well' she thought `it won't be too long before everyone wakes up. I think I was a spring nearby. I was too tired last night to go bath, now would be a good time to go, while that perverted monk is still asleep.'

Sango got up, carefully, so as not to disturb any of her friends. While walking towards the spring, Sango realized that she had been with the group for about a year and a half.

Then she realized that `Oh, I forgot! Today's my 18th birthday!'

She reached the spring, which turned out to be a hot spring. Sango grinned. `Maybe today will be a good day, not too eventful.'

Sango got undressed, and headed for the water. She stopped at the edge and looked in. She screamed.
