InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Scandalous ❯ Chapter One ( Chapter 1 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Disclaimer: I don’t own InuYasha (wish I did) but Rumiko Takashi does! I thinks she’s done a great job this is just this authors rendition of the relationships in it!
A/n: Hello all! Welcome to another one of my torture sessions. (grins) I’ve decided to dig into a darker part of my brain and with the help of Ookamihimako I’ve come up with this.
To all you wonderful people who follow my stories God bless you, you really are great! Even with my grammar mistakes! I cant believe it sometimes I feel like a real writer! So thank you all again. Ookami you BETTER be reading this!
Things have settled down some over spring break so hopefully I’ll be updating more! But if I don’t update right away stay with me, I’ll update… eventually.
On a final note any ooc-ness you may see/read in this story will more than likely not be changed simply because it’s hard to work with there actual personalities sometimes especially in alternate universes, and because I don’t want too lol.

Scandalous
Piercing gold eyes stared up at the starless night, flashing bright in the otherwise inky blackness. Closing those eyes he could see the veins pumping with fresh warm blood in animals hidden in the darkness thinking themselves safe. As he took a few silent graceful steps he could hear the heart beat of those said animals quicken the sound hypnotizing him making his fangs grow longer and his eyes dilate.
Opening his now black eyes he caught and held gaze with a now terrified deer, the deer, unable to move began to panic his heart beat quickening even further. InuYasha’s let out a primal hoar of satisfaction and pounced on the defenseless creature. Sinking his long fangs into it’s neck.
Each layer of skin he passed, each jerk of the animals head, every hair severed due to the sharp fangs added to the overall satisfaction. Finally breaking into the vein he sucked in rhythm to the heart beat. The warm sticky liquid coating his mouth and throat disappearing somewhere briefly before somehow magically reappearing in his own veins making his flesh warm if only for a moment.
As he drank the last drop he stood up and wiped his mouth on his sleeve and waited until the cold sweat and uncomfortable drumming in his heart to stop before walking back from which he came, feeling alive and rejuvenated for the first time in a month.
Beating on his chest a little he craned his neck from side to side. Animal blood always feels different…Although he preferred human and demon blood, he never felt as guilty when he killed an animal. Next month… he thought smiling I’m getting demon blood…
InuYasha walked silently down a warn path leading to his castle, taking in the scene before him he couldn’t help but sigh a little, something he rarely did. It was a dark, ominous place with black windows and large looming trees. At night the tall grass would sway and twirl in the night’s wind glittering at times when the moon was high.
“I wonder what this place looks like in the morning…” he asked out loud and laughed a little. No one had seen the place in daylight for almost 300 years. At least not anyone who’d live to tell about it.
Walking up the gravel path he opened the large dark oak doors and stepped inside. Rolling his eyes he growled and hurried up the steps turning left he walked until he was at the third door on the right. Opening said door his eyes flashed red momentarily before letting out an unearthly roar, a sound of suffering and power mixed into one. Scaring the occupants of the room causing both to jump.
“Miroku! I told you no humans until next month!” InuYasha roared. Miroku was currently on top of a pretty young girl half naked her eye glazed over. Miroku gave him a wide toothy grin reveling his own set of sharp vampire teeth.
“I couldn’t help myself InuYasha… she wandered up her all on her own, looking for her kitten.”
“Your such a bad lair.” InuYasha said feeling a muscle in his jaw begin to tick. Miroku shrugged.
“Now if you don’t mind… If you leave now I’ll leave you some.” Miroku said smiling evilly. InuYasha gave a curt nod and quickly exited the room. You better leave some Miroku…
Walking down the hall a bit he opened another door and plopped down on a huge bed. Miroku… asshole. InuYasha thought with a sad smile. InuYasha had come by him about 100 years ago. He was laying in the forest bleeding heavily his heart beat slow, his breath hallow.
Miroku looked up from the ground at the creature before him, recognizing him instantly for what he was.
“Come… to finish me… have you?” Miroku rasped his eyes shooting daggers at him. InuYasha raised an eyebrow at him.
“I could… but it’s not every night you see a human boy bleeding to death in these parts.” InuYasha said calmly mildly interested. Miroku looked at him for a moment before returning his gaze to the ground.
“Me… and my lover, were eloping when… we were attacked by…by” he began to cough violently. “ By a demon, she got away… but I was not so lucky…” he whispered. InuYasha studied him for a moment. The boys heart began to beat faster for a moment and he could see the boys tears hit the floor staining it along with his blood.
“I’ll…never… get to see her… say goodbye… tell her how much I lo…” the light in his eyes began to fade and his heart beat dropped. InuYasha leaned down to his level.
“Do you wish to live?”
Miroku nodded.
“By any means necessary?” Miroku nodded once more. InuYasha nodded and leaned down.
“Then hold still.” he whispered and bit into his neck. That night InuYasha made Miroku a vampire, granting him his wish to see his true love once more.
Miroku ran to his love that night, held her, kissed her, made her his. They ‘eloped’ to InuYasha’s castle to live out the remainder of her life he supposed.
The next morning however InuYasha wasn’t surprised to smell human blood down the hall, nor was he surprised to hear Miroku’s outraged sobs at his lost lover. Somehow during the day she managed to figure out what Miroku had become… and took her own life.
InuYasha hadn’t known Miroku for very long but he could tell the boy had changed. Something was different in his eyes, in his smile. He was a womanizer despite what he’d become, used woman in more than one way. Taking his pleasure in them for many nights and then sucking them dry the next.
Over the years Miroku began to realize that his very existence was damned, he would forever ‘live’ with pain his lover had caused him without even the comfort of death to soothe him, for once he ‘died’’ he would go to hell beyond all hells a hell where servants of this earth were tortured for they’re sins.
InuYasha glanced at the boarded up window and thought of his own fate. There was no hope, no joy for a vampire, no revelation in sight, or comfort. One day the world would end his path chosen for him. Vampires… pitiful creatures that we are…feasting on the lives of others… He thought shaking slightly. Thinking about it made him shake with anger and with fright.
Suddenly InuYasha felt very tired. Day break… the thought trying to remember what the sun felt like against his sun, how the first rays of dawn would make the dew on the morning grass shine like crystals, how those same rays used to make her hair shine as the wind would pick up that hair and make it dance… how… sun warmed skin… always felt so much more… alive.
His eyes began to close and his head became very heavy. Time to sleep… sleep another day away…
Miroku took another deep drink and licked his lips. His ‘heart’ still hammering in his chest. He rolled off the girl who was gasping for air her eyes far away as she grabbed at his neck. Rolling his eyes he tore some of sheet off and wrapped it around her neck to stop the blood flow. Have to leave some for InuYasha… she’s survive until tomorrow night…
He watched her for a second until she fell unconscious. She looked like she was sleeping… disgusted and with a sudden fit of anger Miroku pushed her off the bed onto the hard stone floor.
100 years… 100 years I’ve been like this… THIS MISERABLE EXISTENCE! He thought ripping the blankets off himself and pacing the floor, wanting to cry but unable too. What was left of his heart was slowly dieing, and he was dieing with it. Every night he’d look at what he’d become, what had driven Elizabeth to take her life just so she wouldn’t have to live with the fact that she had been with him.
I… cant do this anymore… I cant! I’ll go crazy… if I haven’t already. His body suddenly felt very tired. Dawn… his mind spat. Running over the heavy curtains he ripped them back and let the suns rays wash over him.
His scream rang throughout the mansion, loud, unnatural and filled with anguish. His eyes turned black as his skin began to smoke as if on fire. God…if you still hear me… let this be the last time… I ever see dawns light…
