Chapter 1

The New Boyfriend

 

 

It was the middle of the year at Kagomes School. It had passed so quickly to her and her best friend Sango. They were making their way down the hall to lunch when suddenly Sango felt someone grab her hand. Sango turned around to find her hand in the hand of her boyfriend Miroku. He gave her a smile and a quick kiss on the cheek and said “Hey honey how bout I sit with you at lunch today?” Sango looked at Kagome which had tears in her eyes that stared at the floor. Sango looked back and said “Sure” but then whispered in his ear so Kagome couldn't hear “But don't mention Kouga” Miroku looked at Kagome confused but worried and nodded at Sango. When they sat at the table they sat Sango in the middle so that she could sit next to both of them. Miroku quietly whispered “What's wrong with Kagome I've never seen her like this she has me worried” Sango looked at him with a happy but said face and said back “She broke up with Kouga.” “Why” he asked. Sango replied sadly “She said that he was way too possessive”. Miroku got a sly smile and looked at Sango and said “I know just what she needs” Miroku shoved his hand into his jeans pocket and pulled out his cell phone. He quietly said “Text Inuyasha” He pushed a few things and then pushed sent. Across the cafeteria Inuyasha felt his hip vibrate and looked at his cell phone to see the text message that Miroku sent him.

 

 

Miroku: Hey Inuyasha I got good news!

 

Inuyasha: Hey what is it?

 

Miroku: You know Sangos friend Kagome that you like?

 

Inuyasha: Yeah what about her?

 

Miroku: She dumped Kouga

 

Inuyasha: What!? When!?

 

Miroku: Calm down

 

Inuyasha: Well where are you?

 

Miroku: At Sangos table. Why?

 

Inuyasha: Is Kagome there?

 

Miroku: yeah

 

Inuyasha: Hold on I'll be right over!

 

As Inuyasha made his why to the table Sango asked Miroku “What was that all about?” “You will find out in a minute” was all Miroku said as he smiled when he saw Inuyasha. Inuyasha made his way to the table and took the seat next to Kagome and said “Hey” Kagome looked up at him and when she saw those golden eyes she froze. All she could get out was “H… Hi” He gave her a smile and said “My name is Inuyasha…” But was cut off when she said “Yes I know” He gave her another smile and said I've been wanting to ask you this but if your not busy this week end if you wouldn't mind catching a movie with me?” Sango nudged Kagome to tell her to say yes. Kagome smiled at him and kindly said “Sure” He took a pen from his back pocket and took Kagomes hand and wrote down some numbers. He said with a smile “The first is my house number you can call between 8 am and 10 pm other then that my brother will kill me and the second one is my cell phone number you can call that at anytime I usually have it on most of the time. With that he got up and as he passed he brushed his hand across her back that sent chills through her body. Two minutes later Inuyasha felt his hip vibrating again. He picked up his cell phone and it said unknown number so he answered “Hello” “Hi Inuyasha I was making sure I put it in my cell phone right.” came from the other side. All of a sudden it hit him and he said “How bout instead of a movie this weekend you come over today and go swimming you can even invite Sango and Miroku. She looked at Sango and said “Hey Sango you want to go swimming today? “Where” she replied. “At Inuyashas place” she said. She replied happily “Sure but only if Miroku can come!” “He already said he could” she said excitedly. Kagome turned back to the phone and said “Yea we will be there” Inuyasha got an idea and said “Meet me at the front door at the end of school and I will drive you and Sango to get your swim suits. Okay?” “Sure” she replied. She said “Good-bye, see ya later” and hung up. Inuyasha hung up and that's when on of his friends named Kohaku said to him “What was that all about?” Inuyasha smiled and Kagome is coming to go swimming at me house today.
