*** I'm still alive! =) I'm sorry to all those who have been waiting patiently for this chapter and the many chapters to come. I was working two jobs - that I hated and my laptop broke! Never buy an Apple. Great news. I have a new computer so the chapters should be posting like crazy. After this one, I think I'm going to post every week probably on Sunday. Just to let you know this story is looking at maybe 30 chapters, its going to be a monster. SO bear with me and continue to read and write reviews. Any ideas or suggestions are highly welcomed. This is just a little preview to reassure people the fourth chapter will be here soon.

Chapter Four: Come What May

Inuyasha stirred just before the bright sun broke across the horizon. The others would be up soon and he needed to catch breakfast, among other things. He rubbed his tired golden eyes glanced back at Mineko who was sleeping softly next to Kagome. Her brows were knitted together as if she were having a bad dream. Mineko unconsciously burrowed closer into Kagome. His eyes softened at the quiet moment. They looked so much like each other now that he knew the truth and Inuyasha wondered why he couldn't see the resemblance before. Turning, Inuyasha yawned widely and bounded into the forest. He was tired and sleep deprived. All he could think about was his future daughter and the danger she was in. She had come back to the past to kill Naraku and save her parents. Inuyasha leapt onto a strong willow branch and smiled softly to himself as he let a surge of parental pride run through him. His daughter was strong and courageous. To take a chance like she did, traveling blindly into the past to chase after her mothers killer took guts and Inuyasha couldn't help but smile at that. He would have done the exact same thing in her position. She was defiantly his daughter through and through.

This chapter will introduce 3 new characters, a new love interest, Naraku will finally actually have a scene AND perhaps a confession of love between the parents of our heroine.
