"i guess we could go west" replied kagome

the friends have been walking for two days until they came to yet another village to rest, and buy some food.
"hello and wlcome to the shikon inn, how may i help you?" asked the clerk
"we need five seperate rooms for a thre day three night stay" replied kagome
"okay, that will be a total of thre-hundred-fifty dollars" replied the clerk
after kagome handed the clerk the money, they were shown to their rooms by a little boy known as sota (NOT based on the tv show)
"so, sota why do you work here?" asked kagome
"to make some money, so i can eat and all that" replied sota
kagome and inuyasha could both smell the abuse that sota was given by the clerk.
" really? i think your'e keeping something from us, are you?"
"n-no why do you ask?" asked sota
"because we can both smell your'e abuse, fear, and lies, because we're hanyou" replied kagome
"oh" was ll sota could say
"well the abuse comes from.......... my dad." said sota
"where is your dad sota?" asked kagome
"he-he-he's the clerk" replied sota
"really?" asked inuyasha
"yes, really" replied sota
a few minutes later kagome went to talk with the clerk and ask why he abuses his son.

"not from what sota says" replied kagome
"he told you what i did to him.................i'll kill him!" yelled the clerk
"NO YOU WON'T!!" yelled kagome
"you will have to get passed me first." said kagome
"okay fine, but i know a lot of ju-jutsu"
"bring it on old man" taunted kagome
"just then the clerk lunges at kagome but kagome sidesteps and the clerks attack misses.
"my turn" said kagome"
just then kagome clawed at the clerks throat and the battle was over.
"kagome? what the..............?" inuyasha said looking for kagome
"kagome!! yelled inuyasha
"what did you do to the clerk?" asked inuyasha
"well he abuses his son and he attacks me because i said that sota told me why he abuses him" replied the hanyou miko.
"da-dad?" as sota was looking for his dad, he saw a terrible sight.
"daaaad!!" yelled sota
"its okay" kagome said in a soothing voice
"why did.............." asked sota
"he attacked me and i was defending my self" replied kagome
"i-i-i i don't have a home anymore now" said sota
"then maybe you can travel with us" replied kagome
"yea, i would like that" said sota
"sota" said inuyasha
"what?" asked sota
"have you eard of any rumors about legendary weapons?" asked inuyasha
"yes i have" replied sota
"where is it?" asked kagome
"follow me, i'll show you" replied sota

after two hours of following sota, inuyasha and his friends had found the shrine soa was talking about that held the egendry weapon.
as the friends got to the srine there was yet another engraving, with the words "thunder pike" engraved on it
"let me try and pull it out" said sango
just before sango could reach the thunder pike diablodude and nukimsu showed up in front of the pike and started to chant something, and in a flash inuyasha's tetsauiga was glowing a purplish black and wouldn't come out of its sheath.
"damnit, what did you do to my sword?!" asked inuyasha
"nothing, we only put a spell on it so you cant use it on us" replied nukimsu
after nukimsu finished her sentance, diablodude and nukimsu vanished.
after the generals vanished sango once again tried to pull th pike from it's stand but was sent flying ten yards long with a shock.
"sango!!" yelled kagome
"she'll be okay" replied miroku who was now picking up sango and carrying sango back to the group.
"i guess its my turn" said kagome
as kagome put her hands around the thunder pike , the pike lossened and kagome easily was the thunder pikes new owner.
as kagome lifted it up in triumph, dark clouds started to appear and lightning crashed down onto the thunder pike.
"kagome!!!" yelled inuyasha at kagome who was being struck by the lightning.
as this was all happening, shippo saw something on the stand where the pike stood
"whoever pulls the pike from the stand shall show endurance from its great energy of lightning" shippo read aloud
"then she must endure the lightning striking her then dosn't she" asked inuyasha
"yes, it does sem that way" replied miroku
after five minutes of lightning crashing down on kagome, kagome started o walk over to inuyasha but not without tripping a few times.
"in-inuyasha" said kagome weakly
"ssshh" said inuyasha
"you need some rest" suggested shippo
"y-yea, rest does sound good" replied kagome who then fell asleep in inuyasha's arms who carried her back to the inn.
