Lillikyi: Ummm… yeah, I'm working! It wasn't even started last week!

 

Sess: And you've had HOW LONG to work on it? *Crosses his arms.*

 

Lillikyi: Coughallsemestercough.

 

Sess: That's right… *Evil Eye.*

Sess: *Red Faced.* It's a good thing we gave Koga to Nitsuki…

 

Lillikyi: *Smirks.* Oh, why's that?

Chapter 6: A Secret Surfaces

 

“Umm… Sess? Why are there marks on your face?!!! And why are your eyes RED?!!!” As she looked at him, she also noticed the fangs in his mouth as he panted for air and the clawed fingers that were caressing her stomach. His hands made her want to forget his looks and jump him. But her mind cried out, wanting an explanation…

 

All Sesshomaru could think was… `Shit.'

“Uhhhh… Kagome, I can explain! Just calm down!” he said as she released her hold on him and backed away. She was holding her hands up as if to stave him off, her eyes were wide and panicked. `Shit! Now what am I going to do?!!! She's going to fucking hate me! I gotta calm her down…'

 

Thoughts were racing through Kagome's mind. `Is he a monster?!!! His eyes are blood red and he has fangs and claws, not only that but he looks huge!!! She watched as he put himself back inside his pants and turned his back to her. He was taking deep breaths and seemed to be hunched over in pain. `I want to go to him… but, what if he… attacks me or something?!!!' His pain called out to her soul, but she held onto her will and kept herself from running to him.

 

Desire flooded his blood stream as his Youkai tried to take back over his body. It was howling in fury at being denied its mate. Now Sess knew that Kagome was the only one for him, his match, and his body called for her. He turned his back to her, resisting it for her sake. Sweat streamed down his skin at the effort to hold his Youkai off. Finally, when his blood had gone from a boil to simmering, he spoke. “Kagome, there's something I have to tell you… I'm not… exactly, uh, human…

 

“No shit, I could see that Sherlock! I thought you acted like a dog boy, but I didn't know you were one!!!” `Oh my God, that sounds sooo kinky. Stop thinking like that Kagome! This is serious!' She had to give herself some consideration, both of their hormones were going haywire from their little make-out session, but she had to know what was going on!

 

“Kagome… I'm an Inu Youkai. Do you know what that means?” he asked hesitantly.

 

Thoughts ran rampant through her head. “An Inu Youkai? You're a demon? But I thought that demons were wiped out years ago!!! During the Feudal era they ran rampant and started killing for pleasure! The Miko's and Houshi's of the time worked hard on ridding the world of them, hoping that one day that the future generations would have peace.”

 

“Yeah, that's what the history books say. But that is the edited version. How do you think that only Miko's and Houshi's, with great power, but not that great, were able to defeat all the demons that rested within the world? It would be an impossible feat! The smarter, more cunning demons sided with the humans. We fought side by side eradicating the blood thirsty beasts. And when all was said and done, most of them (AN: Miko's and Houshi's… I'm just going to put M & H from now on, lol.) wanted to turn on us! A few good hearted ones invented the crystal. It keeps our Youkai traits hidden from the world. They then told the world that we had been defeated, so life went on… and we've been here ever since…” he turned around to look at her, his eyes pleading for understanding. He now appeared as a normal human, his Youkai suppressed.

 

Her head swam with the knowledge that she had just been presented. The guy she was beginning to fall for was a Demon, a Dog Demon! Of course, it explained all of the sniffing he was prone to, but still it was a little unnerving! His species was supposed to have been dead for at least 400 years! And here he was, flesh and blood, proving that the history books were wrong. She saw the little purple crystal hanging from his ear, catching the light and twirling this way and that. In that moment she saw the shard as a symbol of protection. `The shard protects him… but he's been protecting our race for his whole life! He helped the humans eradicate the blood thirsty Youkai of the Feudal Era, and when they turned on him… he found a way to hide, to protect us from our own stupidity. And here he is… looking at me for acceptance…'

 

Hesitantly Kagome reached for his earring, letting it lay in her palm as she watched the facets shimmer with light. Slowly she released the crystal shard then ran her hand along the edge of his ear and up since at this point the crystal was concealing him again. He leaned into her touch, emitting a light growl at her action. All of the sudden she went into his arms and hugged him tight, burying her face in his shoulder. “I trust you Sess… I believe you. Just hold me now, please, you scared me there for a second.”

 

They both stood there, holding each other tight for several minutes, unwilling to let go. Finally Kagome moved back enough to look at him. She moved one hand up and took the earring out of his ear. He transformed back into what he usually was, and only saw in his bedroom late at night. His ears slowly became pointed, his fingernails grew into claws, his teeth lengthened into sharp fangs, and maroon stripes crossed his face and arms. Kagome realized how handsome he looked in this form. It fit him better than his human illusion. She ran her fingers across the markings on his face, lightly tracing them. She pulled him closer and he leaned in to kiss her, not with the passion that had come before, but with an intensity that was unadulterated and loving. It seemed that time flew by as their mouths melded. Sesshomaru lightly nipped her bottom lip with his fangs and growled as his tongue sought out her mouth, wanting to know her fully. Kagome sank into him, kissing him with every fiber of her being. When they finally pulled away from each other a red light glinted in Sess's eyes and then faded quickly. He realized that the beast within him was satisfied temporarily…

 

Kagome giggled, breaking the tension, “Ya' know, in my head I called you dog-boy ever since we met. All that sniffing and growling you did made me wonder if you were some kind of freak. Now you really are a dog-boy, it's kinda kinky,” she wrinkled her nose and winked.

 

Sess lifted an eyebrow, “Oh, is that right? Well, don't be getting out the least and collar yet wench, `cause this doggy knows a few tricks,” he grinned and started stalking her.

 

Kagome went wide eyed and started backing away. “Oh no you don't Sess! Stay! Heel! Sit!” he kept stalking her, grinning an evil grin that made him look oh so sexy. All of the sudden the phone began to ring through the house. `That's really odd, it's like 2:00 in the morning!

 

“Time out!” Kagome laughed and ran to pick up the phone. Sess went into the kitchen to get something to eat; his game could wait until she got rid of the person on the other line.

 

“Hello?”

 

“Hey cunt. Whatcha' up to? Spreading those beautiful long legs for the Inu boy? Is he fucking the hell out of you? You know I'm going to as soon as I get a hold of you. I'm going to ream your pussy until you scream in pain; I'm hard now just thinking of it. Maybe I'll make you get on your knees and deep throat my cock while Touke holds a knife to the dog's throat. Kagome!!!” When she remained frozen in terror and unmoving he took the phone from her grasp. “Who the fuck is this?!!! What did you say to her?”

 

The line was silent for a second and then, “… enjoy the bitch while you can dog boy. I'm going to enjoy fucking her brains out and then killing her slowly. You'll already be dead by then, so it won't matter. Tell the cunt I said I'll be coming for her.” And with that the line went dead…

 

Sesshomaru's eyes went blazing red as Kagome went limp in his grasp, fainting from all the stress. He clutched her to his heart. `That - moth - will - pay!!!'

 

“Menomaru, I'm going to rip you to shreds with my bare claws! I will see you die if it's the last thing I accomplish on this Earth. You're mine!!!” he howled out into the night…

Lillikyi: Grrr… I'm going to rip the wings off that fucker. *Turns to Sesshomaru.* Sigh, next week is finals week. Can't you kidnap me and take me away?

 

Sess: You must finish your education before I can steal you. *Winks at the audience.* After all, you're a senior, just another year and you'll graduate. Then I'll definitely steal you…

 

Lillikyi: *Pouts.* But I want to go now…

 

Sess: *Crosses arms.* Not yet.

 

Lillikyi: *Gives him a sly look.* I'm sure Koga wouldn't mind taking me, or maybe Inu Yasha…

 

Sess: *Snaps his head back to look at her and growls. He walks over to Lilli and pulls her into his embrace.* You are MINE. You'll stay away from those baka twits if you know what is good for you. *Kisses her.*

 

Lillikyi: *Smirks against his kiss.* `Now I've got him just where I want him.' *Trails her hand slowly down his back, around his side and down without him noticing…*

 

Sess: YELP!!! *Whimpers.* Wench! *Groans.*

 

Lillikyi: Poor puppy. *Evil Grin.*
