Lillikyi: Throws hair over her shoulders and straightens her clothes. Ahem… So a lot of you have been begging me to continue the chapter and I got quite a few protests for where I left off. So I've decided to write another chapter sooner than I usually would. Winks and then turns to the dazed Inu behind her. Fluffy?

Sess: Startles and scoots back away from her. Y-yes Lil-Lilli?

Lillikyi: Strikes a seductive pose. What's wrong baby? You look stressed out… and exhausted. Grins.

Sess: Sweatdrop. Uhhhhhh…….

Lillikyi: Goes over and lays down on top of him as he starts to panic. Awww, poor puppy. Kisses up and down his throat.

Sess: Whimpers. Lillllllllliiiiiiiiii!

Lillikyi: Hurmphhh! Soooo-rry. Sets up, crosses arms, and pouts. It's your fault for turning me on anyway!

Sess: Growls. Hey! I didn't know that you were that receptive to my scent!

Chapter 11: Coming Home

Suddenly she heard a loud growl that turned into an even louder roar that filled the whole building, the old warehouse groaning at the aural onslaught. And then she heard a sudden clink and the wrenching of metal…

The loud wrenching sound of metal filled the room and then a flash of white that was faster than the human eye could possibly see barreled its way toward Kagome. One moment Menomaru was above her, leering down and the next the spot was vacant. “What the hell!” She saw Menomaru flying through the air and impacting the ground hard about two hundred feet away as a loud roar reverberated through her ears.

Sesshomaru stood in front of her, larger than life, his body enlarged so that he was twice the size he normally was. All of his hair stood on end, his eyes glowed bright red and his teeth growing into a mouth full of sharp daggers. Fine white hair began to grow all over his body and a tail grew out of his back. His markings stood out clear as his skin started fading to a pure white color, the crescent moon on his forehead almost glowed. His size kept increasing the whole time as he went through the process of his Youkai transforming him.

Finally, standing where Sesshomaru once was, a two story tall dog appeared. Its eyes glowed a dark crimson red, almost bleeding. He turned to look at Kagome out of the corner of his eye and then let out a long, low howl that shook the building.

His tail suddenly firmly, but gently, pushed Kagome away from him as he began drooling a thick green gelatinous saliva. It seemed to pool on the ground and corrode away the floor like acid. A thick fog like set of fumes began to emit from the area and rise up from the floor.

All at once Kagome felt herself being lifted up and taken away before the green vapor could reach her. Buried against him like she was all she could see was a glimmer of slivery white strands of hair.

“Sometimes you humans are more trouble than a demon can handle, ya' know that?”

“InuYasha!” She looked up to see him grinning cheekily at her as they rushed out of the building and into the cool air outside. “Nice necklace princess,” he said, pointing toward her metal collar, “we'll hav'ta find a way to get it off of ya'.”

“Take me back! We can't just leave him alone in there! Menomaru is still there and the Slayers could walk in at any moment!” she said, panicking. `What's going on in there? Is he okay? Damnit all to hell! What if he-“

“KAGS! Don't worry! Sess'll be fine. He's handled much worse before. I mean, his arm even grew back last time…”

“WHAT! He lost an arm! I'm going back in there, now!” She turned to run toward the old warehouse. Suddenly, a figure stepped across her path.

“InuYasha, you didn't tell me we would be saving such a beautiful woman. May I pay my compliments to you,” he said, bending down on one knee and holding her hand. “Please, would such a beauty with so much courage consider a humble request from one such as me?”

“Miroku…” InuYasha growled.

“Uhhhh…”

As he was kneeling there, his hand crept slowly closer and closer around and behind her, “Would you consider bearing my child?”

The screech and resounding sound of a slap echoed through the night.

“I'm getting the fuck out of here! Catch up with you later Meno-kun, ta-ta!” Jakotsu ran toward the opposite side of the warehouse than where Kagome had exited. He ran, well, like a girl and his hat ribbon fluttered through the breeze behind him.

Sess turned to look at Menomaru; the surrounding vapors beginning to get thicker and thicker. His eyes narrowed and he flashed his teeth in a snarl at the Moth demon.

“Hmmm. I think I've outworn my welcome Inukuro. Don't worry, I'll end your pathetic life soon enough, then your bitch will be mine. She's so pretty when she's on her knees, don't you think?”

Sess gnashed his teeth together then jumped at Menomaru, claws flashing through the air. As he was preparing to rip through his flesh he landed in empty space. `Menomaru, where the fuck are you, coward!' he thought, unable to speak in his current state.

Evil laughter rang from every corner of the dark building, “Don't worry dog, I'll be back…” and with that the feeling of his dark aura left the area. Suddenly he heard a loud commotion and turned to his left to see the Slayer gang arrive, members pouring through the door around boxes and crates that were stashed everywhere. They saw Sess and grinned, their faces sporting fangs as they turned into each of their respective Youkai forms. Touke, at the head, grinned maniacally, his snake like countenance beginning to undulate back and forth.

Sesshomaru's eyes glinted and he smirked, showing a mouthful of razor sharp daggers. At least he'd be able to take his frustration out on something… `Pathetic week fools!` he thought and grinned maniacally as they came at him.

“Kags, come on! Sess can take care of himself; you have no idea how powerful he is!” Yasha said, holding her back from running to the building. “You're just going to jump in there and get hurt, then Sess'll kill me!”

“InuYasha is right,” said Miroku, the hand print still a vivid red across his nonplused face. “Calm down my dear Kagome, everything will be fine.”

Her eye twitched and she gave him a death glare, then turned to InuYasha. “But what if the Slayers come! There's too many and he'll be killed!” she said, panicking and struggling to get away fruitlessly from the half-demon.

Suddenly she was ripped from InuYasha's grip as something picked her up, and up, and up… “What the hell!”

She looked down and found that a thick, silvery band of fur was wrapped around her waist. Then Kagome looked to her left to find a big white dog with is head slightly cocked to the left. His eyes were intense as he just stared at her, then he nuzzled her face with his nose. His tail then moved her to his back; he turned, and leapt toward home.

“Damn! He took off and left us to clean up this fucking mess!” he said as Miroku and he both prepared the scene. He flicked out his butane lighter and then put it back in his pocket after its task was finished. They then got into Miroku's car and spun off, the engine revving loudly in the dead night air as the smell of death and burning materials drifted off into the night.

Sesshomaru carried Kagome through the door to his house, having already changed back into his human form. He was glad she had fallen asleep on the way home. When he had changed back… his clothes were no more, having been discarded while he was in his full Youkai form. He gently laid her on the couch and then quickly strode back to his room, nerves on fire from the close contact with her. How could she heat his blood from just laying there limply in his arms? He put on a t-shirt and a pair of baggy sweats to hide his growing condition, figuring that the Baka and Hentai would be back as soon as they finished cleaning up.

When he returned to the living room he gently picked her up and set her down in his lap. He looked at her for a long time, breathing in her soothing scent and marveling that she was hanging around with him, a full blooded Youkai and a Miko. Sess shook his head and ran the back of his clawed hand gently across her face. He noticed the collar and ran his fingers around the metal band. They were going to have to find a way to get that off, but in the mean time he needed to make sure she was okay. “Kagome, babe, wake up.”

Her eyelashes fluttered and she opened her eyes. She looked blearily around the room, noticing rich furnishings in a large living room like area. A giant plasma TV with a surround system was to her left, while someone was holding her snuggly against them to her right. She looked up to see Sess's face, a look of concern marring his beautiful features.

“Are you okay Koi?“

Suddenly, it all came back to her, the warehouse, Menomaru, Sesshomaru… She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him for all she was worth. “I thought I was going to loose you!” `I can't bear to loose him. He's my world now,' she thought, squeezing him tighter.

“Kags, I love you. I'm not going to let this happen again, I won't let it. I'm going to kill Menomaru and Jakotsu, I swear to Kami…” he shuddered at the thought, almost gagging and whimpering at the memory. That evil thing had touched him. He belonged to only one person and it had degraded him, it had touched him. He now understood what Kagome had gone through, and it sickened him even more to realize that the love of his life had been treated to even worse torture than he had, now multiple times. He pulled Kagome close to him, her scent soothing his frayed nerves.

Kagome watched his face, seeing his look of revulsion. She remembered what Jakotsu had done to him. To be someone so strong and be unable to stop that must have been horrifying. “Sess, look at me! What happened… it wasn't either of our faults! We both… we both were hurt tonight in different ways. It's happened to me before. I was messed up for weeks! It took me that long to realize that it wasn't my fault. What happened to me tonight wasn't my fault as much as what happened tonight wasn't your fault,” she cupped his cheek, running her fingers along his stripes and looking into his eyes.

He looked at her and couldn't believe the love shining in her eyes. “Kagome, Koi, Aishiteru babe, you seem to be my only life line lately. I don't know what I'd do without you,” he pulled her closer in his embrace, just holding her for several minutes. “Love, shouldn't you call your mother or something? It's getting close to 1:30am. She might be worried about you…”

“Shit! She'll be frantic if she learns I'm staying at your house. Hold on, I gotta call Sango,” she searched around for the phone, but came up empty handed. Giving her a wicked grin, Sess picked up what looked to be a statue of a golden dog, but had a phone concealed inside. “Figures,” she said and rolled her eyes.

He looked at her, grinning and showing his fangs, “Woof.”

She held back a laugh as Sango, who lived by herself on the other side of town, picked up the phone. “Hello?” she could hear video games in the back ground. `Seems Kohaku decided to stay the night. Oh, yeah, right, their mom is out on a business trip.' Sango's father had died about the same time as hers, so they had shared the grief together. It had made them even closer friends.

“Hey! It's Kagome. Listen, I'm going to call and tell my mom I'm staying with you tonight so she won't freak out. Is that okay?”

“Sure, you know I'll always cover for you. Now you've got me dying to know what's up!” She could almost hear Sango's evil grin, “What could you be doing Kags? Does it have anything to do with that cute guy with all the unnatural white hair that you bumped into a few weeks ago? You haven't mentioned him lately. In fact, I haven't seen you that much lately! Where in the world have you been!”

“Uhhhh… it's a long story. How about I meet you tomorrow at the Coffee Shop and we'll talk about it. I'll bring some… uh, friends. That okay?”

“Cool! C'ya at around one pm, `kay?”

“Great! Bye Sango!”

“Bye! Kohaku, go to bed before you rot your brain-“ Kagome laughed as she heard the phone disconnect. Sango and Kohaku were always at it.

After calling her mother and making sure that everything was in order Kagome went into the kitchen where Sess was making a snack. Miroku and InuYasha must have come through the back door because they were sitting there talking with him. As soon as she entered the room their conversation stopped.

“Everything okay Kags?” InuYasha asked.

“Yep. Mom thinks I'm at Sango's. We're all going to the Coffee Shop tomorrow at one to talk to Sango too,” she went over and Sess placed her on his lap, feeding her cold Chinese from his plate.

Miroku watched in fascination as InuYasha rolled his eyes. “So who is this paragon named Sango? Maybe she will be the one for me? Ah, yes, I can see it now. Sloe eyes, willowy frame, nice-“

“Okay bozo! I'm taking you outta' here!” InuYasha nodded at Sess and said goodbye to Kagome, then left through the Kitchen door, heading upstairs.

After the remaining couple had finished their snack, with a few laughs in here and there, they settled back in the living room couch, watching an old black and white movie. Halfway through Sesshomaru looked down to find Kagome snuggled against his chest and deeply asleep. He almost purred in contentment, then fell asleep himself, the T.V. droning on into the night…

Sess: Holding Lilli, sitting against a tree. I knew you'd fall for me.

Lillikyi: Yawns, showing her fangs. That's only because I tripped. Laughs.

Sess: Growls. Wolf…

Lillikyi: Awww, come on Sess. Licks his chin and mumbles. I'm tired, unless you want to do something else. Strange glint in her eyes.

Sess: Uhhhh… hmmm… hard decision.

Lillikyi: Evil grin. I'll just bet it is. Opps! Oh, yeah, it is.

Sess: Yelps. Lilli!

Lillikyi: Awww, I'm just teasing Sessy-pooh. Bites his ear as his eyes go wide and he groans. You'll love the next chapter babe. I've got plans for you…
