All right, this is one of my good friends ideas but I have her permission to use the story line. Yes, I did alter it some to make it what it is (her story is a story she is writing and mine is a fanfiction). I wish that you all would please check out her site and, if interested, join. The Meeting
Chapter One
Lady Kagome sat quietly in her tent, her dark, intense eyes hidden beneath the thin film of her eyelids as her fingers entwined on her stomach and her feet crossed on the desk in front of her. Her breathing was soft and easy as her thoughts continued to swarm around her head. Outside the black tent with crimson lining, the sounds of war in preperation could be heard. The clanking of steel against steel was heard as the swordsmen fought with their weapon of choice. Shots were added to the fray as targets were basically ripped apart by both gun and bow. A soft sigh escaped the woman's lips as she tried to block out all noise.. except for the sound of approaching footsteps. The tent flap was brushed aside quickly as a woman bowed respectfully to her and said softly "Good evening M'Lady Kagome. I hope it finds you well".
Kagome need not open her eyes to recognize the voice of her high general, otherwise known as Kuroi Muchitsujo. Still her eyes stayed closed as she muttered incoherentely the weariness being heavy in her words.
A brow arched at Kagome's response, but no other reaction was visable as she brushed it off and spoke. "The Council was called, I was asked to come and tell you". Kagome rose and finally opened her eyes to look to her general, attired in the similar all black clothing with crimson lining marking the edges of an ankle length black cloak. There were slight variations, but visable only to those who knew where to look. Kagome gave a nod of her head, her soft black hair brushing just past her knees and walked past Kuroi without a final glance and headed up towards the main complex.
She could already see the remaining Ladys/Lords/High Generals gathering and traveling down the tunnel that led to the Council Chambers. The leaders of the Wolves, otherwise known as Lord Kouga and Lady Ayame, waved before dissappearing into the shadowed archway, shortly followed by Lord of Ice, or Lord Sesshoumaru and his ward, Rin. Next to slip through the doorway were Lord Inuyasha, and his lady, Kikyo, who paid no attention to the others and stepped into her favored darkness. Following him was the graceful figure of Sesshoumarus high general, or Lady Sango.Lady Kagome and Kuroi headed into the darkness to join the rest of the to meet and find out what is to be done with the new arising army of evil.
