"Kagome! Kagome! Pay attention!" yelled Kagome's teacher.

"Huh? Oh, sorry," Kagome said. What she really felt like saying though is 'Shut up! Can't you see I'm thinking!' But of course she wouldn't DARE say that. She doesn't want to get sent to the principle's office. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~

*RIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGG* That was the lunch bell. "Thank God," Kagome mumbled. She didn't think she could stand another moment in Math class.

"Hey, Kag-chan! Wait up!" yelled her friend, Ayumi.

"Oh, hey... what's up?" Kagome answered weakly. For two reasons she answered weakly.... reason 1 is because that damn math class drained out all her energy and her mind was somewhere else.... her mind was thinking about Inu-Yasha.

"I'm fine.... I wish I could say the same with you. What's up with you, Kag? You're not usually.... so 'whatever'," Ayumi answered.

"Nothing is up with me. That damn math class made me so bored that now I'm tired," Kagome said. Which she wasn't really LYING... I mean it was half the truth.

Okay, here's what happened at lunchtime... Kagome was quiet and kind just picking at her food. Hojo sat with her at lunch. All her friends *including Hojo* asked if she need anything. *Y'know how Kagome's grandpa always says that she's not feeling well.... and makes up all these diseases? Yeah, that's why*

Finally they asked for the 47th time and that's when she just lost it. "I'M FINE! GET THAT THROUGH YOUR FRICKEN SKULLS! I AM FINE! F-I-N-E! NOW JUST STOP ASKING ME!!!!!" Kagome yelled at the top of her lungs. Personally, I say that girl's got issues. After she yelled that she stormed off home. I know, I know, why would you make Kagome skip class in your fanfic? That's horrible! Don't take it personal, but it's my fanfic, so please don't tell me what's wrong with this fanfic instead of telling me the posotive things.

When Kagome arrived at the door of her house, she just remembered something. 'Mom and Grandpa will kill me if they found out that the one time I actually AM at school... I skip the afternoon classes! Okay, Kagome hung out at the mall, doing absolutely nothing but thinking. She was just thinking and thinking about what she had said to Hojo. She just kept on replaying it in her mind, over and over, and over again! But she still couldn't make any sense of it. Okay, as she while she was thinking about that she remembered that she should be home at 3:30 or else her grandpa will keep on asking her questions... Kagome didn't like questions. Not when she was being sneaky. She checked her watch and it was 3:20. SHE ONLY HAD 20 MINUTES TO WALK HOME! That's not a lot 'cause it usually takes Kagome 40 minutes to walk home from the mall. That's bad..... So she decided to be one of those people that stood on the highway with their thumbs out seeing if anyone'll stop and pick her up and drop her off to their destination (basically, a hitch-hiker).

She walked to the highway *which took about 15 minutes* and put her thumb out. Right when she did that somebody stopped instantly. Oh, great... guess who it is? Hojo's dad and Hojo. Lucky her.... *sarcasm*
