Last Chapter: As the lights dimmed in the restaurant Kagome went out and hit her spot in the middle of the stage she signaled to the band that she was ready, opened her mouth and began her seduction of the crowd.

"Introducing Siren."
Slick, wet, hot. These were the first thoughts that came into Sessoumaru's mind as he stared at the vision before him. Or to be correct as he stared at the vision's mouth.
A mouth slick with some sort of pale pink gloss. At that moment he wanted nothing more than to go and see what that lip gloss would taste like as he licked it from her lips.
In a sheer black dress that draped and clung to curves that no man could resist. A dress that when reflected by the soft light that dozens of cream candles tricked the onlooker into seeing things that weren't really there. Breasts, hips, thighs, and legs, oh my God her legs. Legs that went on and on forever making a man think of how those legs would feel wrapped around him.
Sessoumaru thought he could take no more his vision opened her mouth.

His vision opened her mouth to stun him with a deep yet soft seductive voice that blended with the low, smooth sound of a cello, wrapped around and drew him in.

Sessoumaru's breath became caught in his throat as Siren looked straight into his gold eyes never moving through the rest of her seduction. Because that was what it had become to Sessoumaru a seduction. And he was definitely the one being seduced. He knew what she wanted. He could see it in her eyes.

As Kagome took her bows to an audience who from all the applause, cheers and whistles she was receiving clearly enjoyed her show. She had enjoyed it to. Though she was sill relived to get off stage. As she was singing for some reason that she still didn't know. Maybe it was the setting or the dress or the music, she didn't know. All she knew was she had just sung to Sessoumaru. And he had let her looking back at her with something in his eyes that she wanted to pretend she didn't see. Sessoumaru, who was not only her boss but a guy that screamed 'Hell yes I'm a bad boy and I have a wall around my heart and no I don't want you to try to break it.'
With a silent sigh to herself she walked down the side stairs to the kitchen she was greeted with more applause and cheers from the staff.
"Thanks you guys." Kagome told them laughing.
"You were great Kagome." You had them eating out of the palm of your hand." Mirouku told her his own hand straying a bit.
"Do what you're thinking and you will lose that hand." Kagome told him.
"Can't blame a guy for trying." Mirouku said sheepishly.
"Kagome you were amazing!" Sango exclaimed running up to her friend and giving her a big hug. "Let me tell you it was so hot in there I almost had to go outside."
"Thanks girl."
"Very nice job Kagome." Jason told her. "I just came back from the owners table and Sessoumaru loved you. He wants to approve your contract. In fact he wants to see you right now." Kagome just stood there as Jason delivered the news. "What's wrong?" he asked her. "Aren't you happy about the news?" Jason asked her as she started to walk back to her dressing room.
"Of course I'm happy Jason. I'm ecstatic actually it's just that he couldn't even bother to listen to me before hand. And now all of sudden he wants to meet with
me?"
"Well, yes."
"It doesn't work that way Jason." Kagome said as she went behind a dressing screen to change back into her waitress uniform. "You go and tell him that 'Siren' said as it states in her contract that if he could not meet up with her from the beginning then he will never meet with her."
"But Kagome you can't say that to him he's not only the owner but a lord's son!" Jason told her incredulously as Kagome took off her makeup and started to brush out her hair.
"I'm not telling him anything 'Siren' is. I'm just asking you to relay the message."
"Kag I can't do that!"
"Fine if YOU can't than I will." Kagome told her boss putting her hair back up into it's usual twist she wore while working. As she pulled out a piece of restaurant stationary from her apron she wrote a quick note to their illustrious owner. As she finished she looked up in to the mirror and stopped short.
"SANGO." Kagome called out to her friend who was putting her dress and shoes into a garment bag. Came over to see what was wrong.
"What is it Kag?"
"When did I put in my contact lenses?"
"I have no idea Kagome." Sango told her friend. With a sigh Kagome proceeded to take them out and put them in the case.
"Well it doesn't matter if anything it helps for people not to recognize me."
After Kagome was ready to get back to work she and Sango went back out into the kitchen area where she asked everyone not to tell ANYONE who Siren really was. After getting assurances from everyone Kagome went to go check out her tables and deliver 'Sirens' note.

As Siren walked off stage Sessoumaru's restaurant manager came over to see how they had enjoyed the show. Sessoumaru had enjoyed it alright. He enjoyed it much more than he should have.
"Beautiful, simply beautiful Sessoumaru." Lord Inutaisho commented with pride and admiration. "Wherever did you find her?"
"To tell you the truth I didn't. When auditions were held I was in London on business. My manager Jason choose her and sent me a recording of her voice which I approved."
"Well your choice was well received tonight." Lord Shinchrio agreed. "Wouldn't you agree son?"
"Yes Father the girl is most talented and intriguing." Lord Shinchrio son commented. "However it is getting late and we must be getting home."
"Yes. As usual my son is correct as pleasurable as the company, food, and entertainment was I do have meetings tomorrow that I must be fresh for."
"Yes, yes I agree Shinchrio. Not to mention that we must be getting this young lady home." Lord Inutaisho said gesturing at Kikyou. "No doubt your mother is getting worried."
"Yes well you know how mothers are. Though I would like to thank you for a most pleasurable experience this evening." Kikyou told then all while, in Sessoumaru's ears at least, still managing to sound falsely charming.
"I have made arrangements for a second limo to be brought for Inuyasha and Kikyou. So that you and Lord Shinchrio might go straight Father." As Sessoumaru was about to signal for the check The pretty waitress with the brown eyes he had noticed briefly earlier came to deliver it.
"Are you not coming with us Sessoumaru?" His father asked.
"No, I have some business to attend to here." He explained as he signed on a receipt. "I've had my car brought here. I should be home later."
"I was also asked to give this to you sir." The waitress told him handing out a piece of the restaurants stationary. With a slight nod of his head he gave the waitress a tip before saying good by to his guests. After they left he sat down to open the note
which smelled of heavy cream and honey. The note read:
Dear Lord Sessoumaru,
As when I wished to meet with you,
I was told you were unable to meet because your schedule did not allow it.
So it is because of that I am sure you will now understand that because of MY schedule
it does not allow me to meet with you at this time.
Or at any other.
I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you.

She signed her name with a flourish. With a boldness and finality that warranted no compromise. Sessoumaru simply sat down and sipped his wine. Oh she would meet with him and he would find out who she truly was. Because he always got what he wanted.

Kagome was exhausted. I was after twelve and after being on her feet all day then with the added stress of singing tonight all she wanted to do was go home and sleep until her next shift.
"Kagome are you sure you don't need a ride?" Sango asked her.
"I'm sure. I called a cab it's on it's way. Go home and get some rest I'll call you tomorrow."
"Okay. Luv ya."
"Luv ya back"
With a wave to her friend as she drove off. Kagome made her way to the parking lot to wait for her cab. When she got there she was met with a sight that she didn't need right now. Sessoumaru under the hood of his car. Which from all appearances did not seem to be working at the moment. Kagome did not need this. Not long after she had delivered her, or rather 'Sirens' note and the late were just clearing out. He had stormed, well not exactly stormed this man did not storm, more like gracefully walked in with a commanding presence as if he owned the place (which he did) and demanded to speak with Siren and Jason.
Jason told him in no uncertain terms. That Siren had predicted this type of response to her note and That he was told to tell Sessoumaru that in the contract that he had signed tonight no less. That Siren did not have to see him and that the staff if they knew any thing was not to tell anyone who or where she was. That included the owner himself.
Kagome had been afraid that Sessoumaru would fire Jason. But instead he commended him on his trustworthiness and loyalty, wrote a note for Siren and left. Kagome dreaded what that note said she had not opened it. It was still tucked away in her bag. And as tempted as she was to turn around and leave him stranded. The guy had given her a fifty dollar tip. And she was raised to be a good person. So she did the right thing, it was stupid mind you, but right.
"Excuse me Sesssoumaru-san but do you need some help?"
Sessoumaru didn't even bother to try to hide the skepticism in his eyes.
"I don't you can help girl. You see this is a..."
"2003 six speed Lambourghini Mercialago. I know. My father loved foreign cars and I've always wanted one." Sessoumaru simply stood there and stared at her. "Are you sure you don't need any help?"
