Chap3
As the wind picked up, suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the ground and when the dust cleared, Sesshomaru was standing there and sarcastically asked "What's a matter little brother? Not happy to see me?"
Inuyasha drew his sword and said "What the hell do you want?"
Sesshomaru looked at Kate and said "Wench You are new, Tell me why do you smell like my brother's human?"
She walked up to him and got in his face and said "The name is Kate! And Kagome is my cousin. Now what do you want?"
Sesshomaru replied "I seek a healer."
Kate noded and said "Then you are looking for me."
Sesshomaru noded and said "Then you WILL come with me!"
Inuyasha held his sword and said "Like hell!"
Kate yelled "SITBOY!"
Inuyasha plumeted to the ground.
Kate looked at Sesshomaru and said "Why?"
He growled and said "Do NOT try my patience human!"
Then he grabbed her wrist and she sensed his concern. They looked at each other and she replied "I will need my bag." He noded.
She walked over, got her bag and Inuyasha blocked her path and said "No way in hell I am letting you leave with him!"
Kate smiled and said "SITBOY!"
Inuyasha hit the ground.
Kate walked towards Sesshomaru and stoped, turnedand said "I will be back in a few days!" then she turned around and walked to Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru noded, took her wrist and they went and stood in front of Ahun.
Sesshomaru said "Climb on the dragon!"
Kate replied "I have never seen a dragon before, let alone a two headed one, and I have never even climbed on a horse. I don't know how."
Sesshomaru sighed, grabbed her waist and set her on the dragon then climbed behind her and settled his arm around her and they took off.
She wiggled and shifted and Sesshomaru said "Be still woman!"
She replied "You're crushing me with your arm!"
He bent close to her ear and said icily "If you continue to wiggle, then I really WILL crush you."
Then she sat stock still and he noded. "That's better." he said.
They soon landed and he climbed off and got her down and set her on the ground.
Jaken came up and sneered "But milord she is a human."
Kate looked at him and said "Maybe so toad! But I am also the BEST healer in this era!"
Jaken said "Silence you stupid human!
She replied "Nasty toad!"
Jaken started to say something and was cut off by Sesshomaru, when he said "Silence Jaken!"
Kate smirked, and stuck her tounge out at Jaken.
Jaken started "But milord..."
Sesshomaru glared at him.
Jaken said "Aye milord." and walked off.
Then Sesshomaru grabbed Kate by the wrist and started to drag her to the fire.
Kate noticed someone laying over there and the child said very quietly "Lord Sesshomaru.."
Kate ran to the child, bag in hand and said "Tell me how long has she been like this?"
Jaken replied "Not long."
Sesshomaru added "She is normally full of energy and VERY talkative, but the last 2 days she barely speaks, wont eat, and dosen't move."
Kate noded and said to the girl "Open your mouth for me please"
Sesshomaru said "Do as your told Rin."
Rin noded and opened her mouth.
Kate shined a small flashlight in it and said "Hm, I see. Tell me Rin, do you think you can drink this if I give it to you?" while pulling out a bottle.
Rin noded and Kate heated up some water and added the bottles contents in it and said "Now Rin, drink as much of this, as hot as you can ok."
Rin noded and dank most of it. Then fell back to sleep.
Kate noded and said "What the girl has is refered to as strep throat in my time, She mearly needs rest and good nutrition to regain her streangth, what I gave her will kill the germs causing the infection. She will need more protien tho, and fish is not enough she needs meat."
Sesshomaru noded and left for a while and came back with a slain boar. Kate noded and pulled out another pot and a knife, then cut the boar meat and put it into the pot. Jaken brought back some water. Kate added the water to the pot and cooked it over the fire.
Sesshomaru looked at Kate and said "If she does not get better soon, you WILL die!"
Kate noded and coninued tending Rin. For the next two days and nights Kate tended Rin, stopping only to eat occasionally.
After the third morning Sesshomaru walked up to Kate and said "You should be resting."
Kate smiled and said "I can rest AFTER she is better."
Then Sesshomaru said "I Insist you at least eat now! You haven't eaten ANYTHING since lastnight."
Kate smiled and got a bowl of soup and ate.
A few hours later, Rin woke up and was back to normal. She looked over at Kate beside her and smiled.
Kate said "How do you feel Rin?"
Rin replied "Rin feels much better now! Thank you!"
Kate noded and walked back to the fire and passed out.
Sesshomaru caught her before she could hit the ground and said "Stupid woman! I told you to rest!"
Kate smiled and replied softly "As I said, I can rest when she is better." Then she closes her eyes and falls asleep.
Sesshomaru carried her over to the blankett and said "Humans are such weaklings!"
Then he gently layed her down on a blankett and let her sleep and said "Jaken!"
Jaken replied "Yes milord?"
Sesshomaru said "Leave her rest Jaken! You will catch the fish for Rin tonight!"
Jaken replied "Aye milord." and left to do as he was bid.
Rin ate and then said "Um Lord Sesshomaru?"
He said "What is it Rin?
Rin said "Is she gonna be okay milord?"
Sesshomaru said "Yes Rin, although she was foolish! She needs only to rest. She will be okay."
Rin noded her head.
Sesshomaru said "It is time for bed Rin!"
Rin bowed and said "Yes milord." then Rin went to sleep.

I thought to myself "Why must this human be so stubborn!? And more importantly why do I care? She is strong for a human tho. She is no ordinary human! Oh well."
Then I saw Kate shiver a little, sighsed, and layed down next to Kate, warming her with my body temperature.
She sighed contentedly, and I breathed in her scent and thought "She smells almost like..." Then I fell asleep.

A few hours later.....
Kate felt hands moving under her top and sighed.
Sesshomaru was laying on his side fondling her breasts and heard her sigh.

I thought to myself "Hm perhaps I will enjoy her while she is here, She maybe a human, but she makes me feel things... things I thought long since gone."

I looked down at her and said "Morning" and continued to flick my thumb across her nipple and moved my mouth to the other one.

I could smell her arousal, and thought to myself"Yes! I will just enjoy her while she is here, For I would NEVER marry a human. Then when she is gone...."

She thought "Drake.." and felt him lend her some of his streagnth. Her eyes shot open and she jolted up to a sitting position.
Sesshomaru growled, and pinned her beneath him, and growled a warning.
He moved to her ear and said huskily "I know you want me! I can smell your arousal." Then he licked her cheek."
She replied "GET OFF!" she contolled her arousal, and made it dissipate.
Then she hastily put up a barrier around both her and Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru noticed her arousal dissipating and said "Why? How? How is it you can controll that?"
She looked at him and said "I was exhausted and weak...but now I am WIDE awake!"
She shoved at his chest and said "Get off me now!"
He got up annoyed as hell, and said icily "Tell me how you can controll your body like that!"
She replied "When I am awake, I can controll my emotions as well as my body, only when I allow myself to become exhausted do I lower my gaurd."
Then she looked at him and said "I will NOT be treated like a whore! Not for you or anyone else!"

Sesshomaru's POV
I looked at her and thought "She...how..how did she know?"

She said "I can read minds!"
Sesshomaru sat stock still, and said icily "If you leave now, you are on your own."
She replied "I never should have allowed myself to become so weak, if I knew....Since you seemed so emotionaless, I never expected it!"
Sesshomaru glared at her and said icily "Explain!"
She got up, fixed her clothes, grabbed her bag and said "This should not have happend, I am sorry I must go now."
Sesshomaru snarled "LEAVE!" so she did.
On the way she thought to herself "I must bathe to remove his smell from me before I return to Inuyasha and the others."
So she stoped at the hotsprings and bathee quickly but completely. Finally satisfied that she hae removed any trace of Sesshomaru's scent, she got out and dressee, grabbed her bag and continued.
Afterwhile she ran across Inuyasha and co, and Inuyasha ran up to her and she fell into his arms.
Inuyasha caught her and said "What the hell!? Kate! What's wrong?"
She smiled weakly and said "I am mearly tired that's all."
Inuyasha carried her to Kaedee's and Kaedee reassured "She is mearly exahausted. By the looks of it she hasn't slept in days. She needs only to rest to regain her streagnth."
So Inuyasha and co let her sleep.
Drake appeared out of nowhere and went and sat by Kate.
She slept for the next two days.

2 days later.....
Kate woke up and noticed someone beside her.
"Drake?" she asked and he replied "I am here."
She noded and slowly got up.
They walked outside and joined the others who were eating breakfast.
After breakfast Kate took a walk and Drake came up behind her and said "Tell me, What happened when you were with Sesshomaru?"
Kate replied "I cared for a young child who was sick, and did not sleep for 2 days and nights, Since he seemed so emotionaless, I didn't think I would need to shield him...."
Drake noded and said "I see, and did he...?"
She cut him off and said "I woke up to him fondling me breasts, and climbing on top of me.."
He replied "And did he...?"
She replied "NO! I....I stopped it from happening...I realizeed what was going on, and immediately shielded us both!"
Drake replied angrily "Then why do I smell him on you?"
She lookeds shocked, then furious.
He said angrily "You forget, You maybe able to fool Inuyasha and the others into thinking it's not there, But I know you and can read you better then ANYONE else! Now WHY do I smell him on you?" and
she replied "I already answered you! HOW can you of all people think THAT of me?" then she angrily stormed off, and Drake stood there trying to controll his temper.
After a while she and Drake returned to the camp, and Inuyasha announced "We should get going!"
Everyone agreed and they set off. Kate and Drake ignored each other, untill well after the group camped for the night.
After dinner Kate went and bathed while the others stayed at the camp.
Drake finally calmed down and realized he made a serious mistake! Kate had never stayed mad at him this long before, and it was starting to really bother him.
