Seeing Red
Disclaimer: I do not own InuYasha or Sam the Sham's song, Little Red Riding Hood. I gain nothing from this but perverse pleasure.
This is my first yaoi pairing so it is not graphic and please be nice……
Slightly introspective on Kouga's part, but cute and the song fits!
“OSUWARI!”
Kagome's shout rang through the woods, as she stomped off leaving InuYasha with a mouth full of dirt. She walked ahead, her nose held aloof, with Sano and Shippou.
InuYasha stood grumbling. He had once again been unjustly sat. All because of a certain wolf prince.
The wolf prince in question stood by a small smile on his face.
“What are you looking at?!” InuYasha snapped.
Kouga chuckled. “Nothing, absolutely nothing.” He said his voice dripping with sarcasm.
InuYasha growled and they continued walking, the monk and Kouga on either side of the flustered hanyou.
They walked in silence all lost in their own thoughts. Kouga was thinking about Kagome's treatment of InuYasha. True, he had the outward appearance of glee at InuYasha's face plant, but inwardly he was saddened to see the hanyou so used by that woman!
Kouga had known since the moment he had laid eyes on InuYasha that he had to have him. He may have only been half demon, but to Kouga that was part of the appeal. InuYasha was the most unique person he had ever met.
InuYasha had a variety of emotions, Kouga was fascinated with. He loved to taunt him to see his fiery temper erupt and yet the few times he had seen the hanyou in another vein of emotion he was amazed, by the hanyou's inner kindness and innocence. The man was an enigma in and of himself. One he couldn't help, but be drawn too.
Not too mention he was gorgeous, Kouga had caught himself watching the flex of InuYasha's muscles one day in one of their fights, and with the added effect of his long flowing silvery white hair billowing in the breeze, and the twitching of his exceptional ears caused him to forfeit the match just so his obvious attraction would not be noticed.
Owoooooooo!
Who's that I see walkin' in these woods?
Why, it's Little Red Riding Hood.
Hey there Little Red Riding Hood,
You sure are looking good.
You're everything a big bad wolf could want.
Listen to me.

So that's why he always returned, came back to be near the object of his obsession, and to protect him if needs be, but so far the hanyou had proved quite able of protecting himself, and being a strong fighter made him even more admiring of the dog demon.
He would never admit to loving InuYasha, not even under the worst torture, those were words that were destined to only ever play in his mind. The great Wolf Prince was unable to voice his feelings to InuYasha, it was rather pathetic.
He watched InuYasha out of the corner of his eye, watched him stare straight forward determined, with those alluring eyes, pools of molten gold. That was exactly what they could do to him; make him burn and melt all at once. He bit his lip to hush the moan that threatened to escape if he continued that train of thought.

I don't think little big girls should
Go walking in these spooky old woods alone.
Owoooooooo!

Owoooooooo!
What big eyes you have,
The kind of eyes that drive wolves mad.
So just to see that you don't get chased
I think I ought to walk with you for a ways.

His gaze traveled down to the hanyou's lips, curled in his ever present snarling sneer. Still he longed to nibble on them himself. To hush InuYasha's always harsh mouth with a searing kiss.
InuYasha was loud and Kouga was sure that mouth could be put to better use…much better use.
His eyes continued their sojourn down InuYasha's body, he let out a small growl at the fact that InuYasha's tasty torso was obscured by his red haori, but then even that was something Kouga loved about the man. Red just seemed to suit InuYasha, it embodied all that he was.
In his mind's eye Kouga could see InuYasha lying naked, his skin a stark contrast to the red robe spread beneath him. He closed his eyes and this time did not suppress his groan of lust.
Unfortunately his response was heard and InuYasha turned his head to growl and snap at him.
“Hey! Cut it out! Have the decency not to lust like that over Kagome in front of me! Your arousal stinks!”
Kouga smiled to himself, `Oh the irony' he thought. He decided now would be a good time to leave their company else his true thoughts be discovered. That didn't mean he couldn't put on a little show to rile InuYasha more.
Kouga ran forward to kiss Kagome's hand; he looked up at her and allowed a wolfish grin to cross his lips. “I'm afraid, must away back to my pack, but trust that I will return soon my lady.” He stood up and threw a grin at InuYasha before speeding away.
What full lips you have.
They're sure to lure someone bad.
So until you get to grandma's place
I think you ought to walk with me and be safe.
They're sure to lure someone bad.
So until you get to grandma's place
I think you ought to walk with me and be safe.
I'm gonna keep my sheep suit on
Until I'm sure that you've been shown
That I can be trusted walking with you alone.
Owoooooooo!
Until I'm sure that you've been shown

Owoooooooo!
As Kouga ran through the woods, his powerful legs carrying him further and further away, he allowed his mind to run rampant once again with thoughts of the dog hanyou. He disliked being away from him, but he had little choice if he wished to keep his obsession secret.
Unbeknownst to the day dreaming wolf, InuYasha had followed him, Kouga's performance toward Kagome had been too much, and his blood seethed with the need for retribution.
Kouga didn't realize until InuYasha barreled into him from behind causing him to lose momentum and fly sideways into a tree. InuYasha skidded to a stop and growled at the dazed wolf who sat in a heap at the base of a tree shaking his head.
“What the….” Kouga was about to question his attacker, when he saw it was InuYasha, his eyebrows raised in pleasant surprise and a small smirk dawned his face.
He realized that he and InuYasha were alone, at least a mile away from any of their friends. He chuckled lightly as his mind began to think of ways to seduce the unsuspecting hanyou. And when Kouga saw that red haori, his body reacted as well, all inhibitions disappeared.
InuYasha growled at the sound of Kouga's laughter. “Shut up!” He shouted. “I've had enough of your flirting with Kagome! I'm going to make sure you never come near her again!” He shouted his fingers tightly clasped around the hilt of Tessaiga prepared to draw.
Kouga looked up into his eyes, his bewitching golden eyes and scratched his head allowing himself another laugh.
“All you have to do is ask?”
InuYasha was taken back by the wolf's response. “Huh?”
Kouga slowly stood and allowed his true feelings for InuYasha to rise to the surface, his eyes glinting with desire as he gazed lustfully at him. “I won't lay a hand on Kagome, ever again.” He said resolutely.
InuYasha blinked and then growled. “I don't know what you're playing at, but I won't fall for it!”
Kouga slowly walked toward, sauntered would be more appropriate to InuYasha who was nervously twitching, watching Kouga's movements closely and yet he had yet to pull his sword.
“You mistake my intent InuYasha….”
To say InuYasha was confused would be an understatement, never had the wolf prince spoke his name, usually he used the term `half breed' quite liberally like most of his enemies and rivals.
“I don't want Kagome, I never did, and I want you.” As the words left Kouga's lips he closed the distance so that he was a mere inch from InuYasha staring intently at him, mesmerized by his eyes and the red of his robe.

I'd like to hold you if I could
but you might think I'm a big bad wolf so I won't.
Owoooooooo!

InuYasha blinked as his mind tried to process Kouga's words, his hand lost its grip on Tessaiga in shock and he was about to take a step back when Kouga grabbed his arms roughly and pulled him against him crushing their lips together in a bruising kiss. Kouga released all his pent up desire into that kiss, all the love and admiration he had for the hanyou flowing from his lips as they moved in a frenzy over the shocked dog demon.
InuYasha temporarily forgot how to move, and when he realized what was happening his first instinct, as always was to open his mouth to give a barrage of insults, but Kouga's lips were still latched onto his and when he opened his mouth Kouga's tongue eagerly entered causing InuYasha to yelp, in surprise and pleasure as Kouga's tongue stroked his own and his fangs grazed his lips.
InuYasha began to participate in the kiss, fervently and Kouga grinned against his lips heart soaring.
He pulled back for air and stared at the flushed hanyou intensely; the red in his cheeks making him all the more alluring. He leaned forward and licked at InuYasha's neck lovingly, it was the demon way of showing affection.
InuYasha shivered, he hardly knew what to do, he had never felt such want, it was more than a need it was primal, unlike anything he ever felt for Kikyo or Kagome.
“Why?” Was the only question that accurately voiced InuYasha's confusion?
“I can't help myself; whenever I'm around you….I think I love you.” Kouga answered his own uncertainty bubbling to the surface.
InuYasha raised an eyebrow at him and a cocky grin spread across his face. “Prove it.” He said challenging the wolf to a different kind of battle then any they had had previous.
Kouga chuckled and gave a wolfish grin, as he began to push InuYasha's red haori off his shoulders, “I intend to…..”
What a big heart I have-the better to love you with.
Little Red Riding Hood
Even bad wolves can be good.
I'll try to be satisfied just to walk close by your side.
Maybe you'll see things my way before we get to grandma's place.
