Chapter 1

Kagome’s Story

Cries are heard through the long white hallway. A young dark headed man in his mid twenties stood in front of a window looking at his newborn daughter. A smile crept upon his slightly rugged face, as the nurse held the baby girl up. The young man placed his hand and head against the window. “Kagome,” he softly whispered to himself. He looked down the long white empty hallway and then back at the Nursery smiling at his baby girl, very much unaware of what will happen in the next few years…

2 Years Latter

Kagome a happy little 2 year old smiled as she looked at her father sitting at the table. She new a few words but didn’t talk much, she also new how to walk as well. She wore a light pink t-shirt and overalls with white socks. She has beautiful black locks of hair in pigtails. She slightly stumbled backwards and fell on her butt. She softly yawned as her eyes began to droop down.

Her mother looked at her and gave a light laugh, “Looks, like someone is tired,” she said to her husband, “Will you take her upstairs so she can nap.”

“Of course, honey,” the man said getting up and picking up his little girl cuddling her to his chest.

He walked up a long staircase to his little girl’s room. Once he reached the room he reached for the copper color doorknob and opened the door to the room. Looking around the light pink room and walked to her purple bed and pulled back the covers and gentle placed her in it and covered her up.

“Goodnight sweetheart,” he whispered and kissed her forehead and then left the room.

A few hours pass at the quiet little home nothing happening. The mother began to cook dinner and the father began to read the new paper. Suddenly a loud screech was heard throughout the house. You could hear the sound of a pan dropping the feet running up the stairs. Both parents ran into the room and saw their little girl in pure tears clutching her head.

“Kagome baby what’s wrong,” her mother, asked fear in her eyes.

Kagome looked at her fear stained her eyes and her bottom lip trembling.

“People get hurt,” she mumbled terrified tears staining her face.

A confused expression crossed each parents face as her mother picked her daughter up and held her close to her.

“Its ok baby,” she softly said, “no one will get hurt.”

Kagome’s father sat down next to his wife and wrapped his arms around both of them and held them.

A few days pasted and no one knew what was wrong with her. The doctors suggested that maybe it was just a nightmare, but both of them had a suspicion that it wasn’t. About a week after the incident the news reported that there had been a horrible wreak and many people had been injured and there had been a few deaths as well.

As the years passed Kagome would still have the episodes where her parent would find her screaming while clutching her head.

At the age of 5 her family met an old lady named Kaede. She explained many things to her mother and father and said that she may be having visions of the future. That’s why she clutched her head as times. “It can be very painful sometimes when having a vision as well as scary,“ she said.

“How do you know all of this,“ her parents asked her.

“Because I have visions of the future as well, but I never had a vision till my teen years,” she said, “you sweet little girl maybe one of few who can, sometimes it is a gift and sometimes it is a curse to have, she will get used to it in due time, so don’t worry.”

“Thank you greatly Lady Kaede,” he father said.

After that day they never heard from Kaede again.

A few months had passed and the vision became more frequent.

One week Kagome was up all night crying because of her visions. When her mother came in and looked at her sadly.

“Be careful mommy,” she said.

“Why baby,” her mother asked.

“Evil people try to hurt you,” she said.

“No one will try to hurt us honey,” her mother said, “no go back to sleep.”

A few nights later her parent where murdered before her eyes.

Later on she went to live with her Uncle. She lived with him for a long time. She gained friends and still had visions. One of her friends where just a bit older than her help Kagome out when she needed it. When Kagome was 17 her uncle was murder as well while she was at school. Her friend being 19 took her in and took care of her.

Sometimes the visions can cause migraines so Kagome has to take medicine every now and then.

Now attending College this is where our story begins………..
