Hello again

This is inuyasha0024 and I am back with another chapter after forever.. I know it takes a long time for me to update. But I am updating today ^^

OK.. I know there may be some grammar and spelling mistakes but I’ll get to fixing it eventually.

Previous Chapter

Once they where in her room, Inuyasha dropped Kagome on her bed and sat down on it. He grinned evilly and then began to tickle her. “Noooooooo” she laughed. After awhile Inuyasha had Kagome pinned to the bed, “I win,” he said out of breath. Inuyasha’s looked into Kagome’s eyes and smiled.

“Yea, whatever” she said while laughing. Inuyasha then bent his head forward and kissed Kagome on the lips. Her eyes widened at first but she responded quickly to his kiss. After a few moments Inuyasha pulled back and blushed so did Kagome.

“Go to sleep,” he said, “I’ll be right here when you wake.”

Kagome nodded her head and smiled, “good night Inuyasha.” she said

“Good night, my Kagome” he said.

Kagome then fell asleep once more.

Inuyasha got up and sat down back in the chair and watched over the sleeping Kagome.

Chapter 5

Inuyasha crept into Kagome’s room. He smirked at the thought of rudely waking her.

Slowly, he leaned forward and gently kissed Kagome’s cheek. She rolled over and began to wake. Inuyasha then stood and opened the curtains, allowing the light from outside to stream onto her sleeping face. She groaned and grabbed her pillow, covering her face with it.

“Turn out the lights.”

“Wake up, it’s almost ten-thirty,” Inuyasha said while Kagome mumbled angered words at him. She slowly sat up and winced, feeling a sting of pain run through her cheek. She slowly recalled what had happened the day before and reached to cover her bruised cheek with her hand. Inuyasha frowned and sat on her bed. He peeled away her hand off of her face and gently stroked her soft bruised cheek with his thumb.

“It doesn’t look bad”

Kagome nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. He sighed softly and pulled her into his lap, hugging her. She choked out a sob before bursting into tears.

Inuyasha held her closer and began rocking her back and forth in his arms, soothing her.

“It’s okay,” he repeated over and over again to the sobbing girl. After a bit the rivers of tears became a small drizzle. She said nothing, only sighed.

“Why do people have to be so mean to others?” she mumbled into his shirt.

“I don’t know,” he whispered.

“What do you want to do?” he asked her.

“I don’t know” she mumbled.

“Want to just sit here?” he asked.

“If you want to” she said.

“Let’s leave to go to the mall later or something,” Inuyasha suggested.

“Okay,” Kagome softly whispered. She rested her head against his shoulder. He had his arms draped around her tightly.

“I will protect you,” he said, “protect you from what I can.”

“Thank you... I will try to protect you too,” she said leaning back a bit as she looked into his eyes.

“I’ll do a better job.” he began tickling her a bit.

“Ha ha! I know...Ack! No tickling!” She swatted his hands away.

“Feeling better?”

“Yup, no more headache, “she said.

He smiled and swept her into another hug.

Interrupting the hug, Inuyasha’s cell phone rang and he grabbed it off the nightstand and pressed the talk button.

“What do you want?” he said gruffly to the person on the other end.

“Inuyasha! Be nice!” Kagome whispered in a harsh tone as she lightly tapped his chest.

His eyes protested, screaming, ‘Hey! I am nice!” as he looked into her eyes. He rested his chin on top of her head.

“Nice to speak to you too, little brother,” the icy voice said.

“Sesshomaru,” Inuyasha growled a bit, “What do you want?”

“I am wondering where the hell you are,” Sesshomaru growled back.

“I am talking care of a friend, lay off, you don’t need me that badly their do you?”

Sesshomaru cussed under his breath a bit before yelling, “Dammit, Inuyasha! I am working my ass off while you are being a lazy ass taking care of a friend...It’s probably Miroku.”

“Fluffy, be nice!” a feminine voice screeched in the background.

“No Sango takes care of Miroku when he is sick, her poor soul, and ‘Fluffy’ eh?”

“Don’t call me that!” the older brother yelled.

“I am taking care of a friend, it’s a girl. Though I doubt you care.”

“Well, I don’t give a shit if you are or if you’re not taking care of someone. I need you to look at these papers.”

“Why can’t you look at them?”

“It’s in your department.”

“Dammit,” Inuyasha groaned, “I’ll come by later and look at them.”

“Just come soon.” Sesshomaru hung up.

Inuyasha sighed and looked around the room. Kagome had left his lap while he had been talking to his older brother. She was still in the room but had gone to change clothes in the bathroom.

At that moment, she walked of the bathroom in a black and red tank top, black baggy pants, socks.

“Let’s go get some food,” she said opening door that led to the hallway.

“Okay.”

They went downstairs to the kitchen for cereal. In the middle of eating her bowl of Lucky Charms (don’t own them), Kagome rested her head against the palm of her hand and stared into space. He noticed her staring blankly and became a bit worried.

“Hey, are you okay?” He waved a hand in front of her face.

She snapped out of her stare and glanced around for a minute. Inuyasha became even more worried. He reached across the table and gently stroked her hand.

“Are you okay?”

“Oh,” she said, “yeah just got a bad feeling.”

“Nothing will happen,” he reassured her, though in the back of his mind he thought something probably would.

“You want to head to the mall and browse some shops? I’ll call Sango and Miroku to see if they want to come along too,” he suggested.

“Sure” she softly said.

After they cleaned up the dishes Kagome put on shoes while Inuyasha called Sango and Miroku. They said they didn’t want to come along because they had other things to do.

Inuyasha walked over to Kagome who was lazing on the couch. “Hey lets get going.”

Kagome got up and walked a bit unsteadily towards him. Inuyasha slid his arm around her waist for support and gave her a hug.

“Everything will be fine”

She returned the hug lightly. He leaned down and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. She gave a soft sigh and nodded as they stepped out of the house.

They reached the mall in a short amount of time and browsed around random shops. Neither bought anything. After awhile of walking the two found a bench to sit on and rest a bit. Kagome rested her head against his shoulder and closed her eyes listening to Inuyasha talk. Inuyasha suddenly stopped talking and began to growl.

“What do you want Naraku,” he barked.

“Oh nothing mutt. Just wanted to talk to dear Kagome about something.”

Kagome by then had opened her eyes and had watched both of them.

“Talk to me about what?”

“Oh, only how it feels to witness your parents’ murder!”

Kagome’s eyes widened, she began to tremble but soon her trembling reached a violent level. She tried to speak but the words faded away every time she opened her mouth.

“How… how… Did you know?” she finally managed to get out. “The police kept everything quiet...everything...”

Tears began to stream down her face. Inuyasha protectively wrapped his arms around her small frame while growling in a low tone at Naraku.

“Well, how does it feel?!”

Kagome gave a hiccupped sob into Inuyasha’s chest. She did not speak as she began to recall the memories she tried so hard to forget. Inuyasha’s growl began to become deeper and louder as he glared at Naraku.

“Get the hell away!” He shouted as he stood up, picking Kagome up and carrying her away.

“Ta ta for now my sweet Kagome.” Naraku said venomously and disappeared in another direction.

Inuyasha took Kagome home and carried her to her room and sat on the edge of the bed holding her tightly in his arms. “It’s okay,” he repeated to her over and over. She finally fell asleep and he eased her body down onto her bed and covered her with a blanket. He leaned down and kissed Kagome’s temple before finding a pen and a small notepad. He scribbled down a note and placed it on her nightstand. It read:

Kagome,

I had to go see what my older brother wanted. I’ll come by tomorrow to see how you are. Casey is here to take care of you.

I’ll see you later.

Inuyasha

Inuyasha left and saw Sesshomaru and got yelled at for not coming any sooner. Casey took care of Kagome till she went to bed. Kagome didn’t wake up for the rest of that day and into the night. Kagome went back to classes with Casey that next day. Kagome continuously sighed and rested her head in her hands as she took notes. A frown was placed on her soft features. Casey watched Kagome throughout the day noting all of her actions…

“Hey what’s wrong?” she asked

“Nothing,” Kagome replied

Inuyasha sat at his old oak desk staring at the documents before him. He softly sighed as she ran his fingers threw his sliver hair.

“Kagome,” his whispered to himself. There was a quick knock on the door and it then it opened gave a small squeak then there where slops of feet against the ground.

“Miroku,” Inuyasha groaned. “What do you need?”

“Women problems got you down, my friend?” eh asked

“No, worried thought,” he said.

“Why? What happened?” Miroku asked.

“People are so hateful to her,” Inuyasha said, “I just don’t understand, she has such a good heart , it’s just hard to believe she is so nice to someone like me , a worthless half breed.

“That’s for sure,” an icy voice said as it entered the room.

“Sesshomaru,” Inuyasha growled.

“What the fuck do you want now?” he growled louder

“You to hand over those documents, I wanted them an hour ago” he said. Inuyasha handed him the papers. “There you go, now leave” he said

“Now what’s wrong?” asked Sesshomaru.

“Nothing” Inuyasha said,

“Nothing is always something” Sesshomaru said

“Fine, it’s a girl,” he said, “she keeps getting hurt by people.” Sesshomaru nodded his head, “so what is the girl’s name?”

“Why?” Inuyasha asked

“Just tell me!” Sesshomaru growled

“Kagome Higurashi,” Inuyasha said, with that statement Sesshomaru stalked out of the room and back to his office. Around 2:30 Kagome was home and down with her homework. She laid on her bed eyes tightly shut trying to stop the tears from escaping down her face.

“Unn,” she whispered, “I want these memories to go away. Why can’t they leave?” Tears slowly did find their way to sliding down her face as she broke down and began to sob again. Casey was at work, Kagome was all alone.

Kagome curled up into a ball and sobbed racking her frail body as she lay on top of her purple sheets. Her hair was flowing everywhere around her. Her face became very flushed red form its normal light tan color. She had tears streaming down her face like endless water coming from a faucet. After awhile her sobs became tiny whimpers as she was still in her ball positions she whispered, “Mother father.”

After a while of work and another destroyed computer. Inuyasha was walking home and wonder what Kagome was up to.

Kagome slyly and unsteadily sat up and remember the note Inuyasha had left her on her night stand the night before.

“I want him to come over here,” she said and grabbed the phone dialing the number he left her and then collapsed back into her bed. A few rings better the phone was picked up.

“Hello” Inuyasha said

“Inu. Inuyasha,” Kagome’s whispered.

“Kagome?” Inuyasha asked.

“Yes,” she said

“What’s up, are you ok?” he asked

“Yea,” she said softly, “Can you come over?”

“Yea of course,” he said

“Thanks,” she said

“I’ll be there in a few,” he said.

“OK, bye” she said

“Bye,” he said and hung up the phone.

Kagome hung the phone up and placed it on the chargers. Kagome slowly rolled over to her side and waited for Inuyasha’s arrival. Not even 10 minutes after the phone called there was a knock on the door. “Doors open” she yelled There was a loud creek noise and then pounding of foot steps running up the stairs. There was a quickly knock on her door and then it was opened. Inuyasha took a few stops into her room and his poor nose was assaulted but the scent of salt water and Kagome’s normal scent. Inuyasha quickly went over to Kagome’s bed and sat down. He gently lifted her hair form her face and saw her face was a bright red.

“Kagome what’s wrong?” he asked

“Inuyasha” she softly whispered.

“Kagome” he said with gentleness laced into his voice. “What’s wrong, please tell me?”

“I keep remembering” she stuttered.

“Remembering what?” he asked

“What happened with my parents long ago,” she softly cried, “I don’t want to remember” Inuyasha gently pulled Kagome to him and held her closely to him.

“They where killed weren’t they,” Kagome nodded her head.

“I, I warned them, I had a vision as a kid she mumbled threw tears, “but they didn’t listen, they went on, Kagome began to cry more.

“Its ok” he said, “its ok, I am here for you.

There was then a high pitch ring coursing threw the air.

“Inuyahsa whined clutching Kagome to him more, wishing the noise would top hands stop hurting his ears.

“What the hell” he said flattening his ears to his head. The ring continued non stop,

“Unnn Inuyasha,” groaned Kagome as she buried her head in Inuyasha’s chest. Kagome clutched her eyes tightly seeing flashes of a vision under he eyelids

“Inuyasha,” she whispered, “something is going to happen”

“What?” he whispered back

“:I I don’t know, I can’t tell” she said

Inuyasha weakly got up and lifted Kagome into his arms and unsteadily left the house to the out doors, Once the backyard Inuyasha spotted a tree and gently set Kagome’s feet on the ground there. He then stumbled into the tree. The high pitch ring had eased some when they reached the outdoors. Inuyasha groaned covering his ears and sliding down to the ground. Inuyasha then felt the vibrate of his phone

“What!” he yelled as he answered it.

“Get your ass down here now and bring whoever you are with! “ Sesshomaru said. Inuyasha groaned once more and stood up and grabbed Kagome’s hand and pulled her along with him.

“Fine” he said into the phone.

Inuyasha pilled Kagome away from her home and to the sidewalk filled with crowds of people.

“Hang on to my hand tightly,” he said walking into a mob of people. Kagome gave Inuyasha’s hand a gently squeeze as he pulled her along.

After they finally exited the large crowd. Inuyasha lifted his ears from his head.

“Can you still hear the ringing?” she asked.

“A little bit,” he said pulling her to him, “you?”

“Same” she said.

“That was my brother Sesshomaru who called; I think he wants me to come to the office for some odd reason.”

As they reached the building Kagome looked up to see how high the office building went.

“Wow” she said with a bit of shock.

“Yea” Inuyasha mumbled walking into the building followed closely by Kagome. As they came upon the service area. A man stood here waiting for them. He has long sliver hair golden eyes just like Inuyasha’s. He had purple markings on his face and a crescent moon in the middle of his forehead. He had broad shoulders and looked extremely strong. As they walked in he gave them an icy glare.

“About time, Inuyasha,” came in his cold tone

“Fen” Inuyasha said, “What do you want?”

“There was a disturbance a hatred ring that most to al demons and a few humans head, “he said

“Yea, I know, we heard it.”

“We?” Sesshomaru said

“Yea me and Kagome,” Inuyasha slightly moved to the right and showed Kagome to Sesshomaru.

“So you are the girl my brother obsesses about.” he said

“Oi!” Inuyasha yelled. Kagome gave soft laugh.

“Maybe” she said with a smile

OK!! Yay here is another chapter.. I know there are mistakes. I’ll get down to fixing it soon when I feel like it and have time.

Please tell me what you think of the chapter and if you have an idea please tell me. I am having a hard time thinking of what will happen next.
