InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ senior year.... ❯ ...And You Think You know Someone... ( Chapter 5 )

Kagome woke up the next morning still very tired. It was Sunday. her mother was sitting on the edge of her bed, looking concerned. "What?" kagome said looking rather annoyed. "I just wanted to see if you were okay. You've been sleeping a lot lately, and have barely said a word to me." She replied. Kagome groaned. "I'm fine, really. Stop being so worried. I've just been real busy lately." Her mother nodded, got up reluctantly and left. Kagome shoved her head under the pillow. She wanted to stay there forever. Life had become unbearable. No matter what she did she ended up thinking about Inuyasha. Then she remembered sesshy, and sank into confusion. She was almost sure he was using her. But she had promised to come back, and it wasn't like there was anything else to do. She forced herself out of bed, changed into a blue t-shirt and black shorts. Then suddenly she wondered if it was too plain. She opened her closet and looked for another shirt, but closed it again. {whats wrong with me? I'm going to see sesshy. what's the big deal?} she thought, as she walked out of her room, closing the door behind her. She reached the well, and sat there for a brief moment. She wondered how she was going to find him. Its not like he would wait around so long. {or would he?} she thought. She shook her head in frustration. Whatever was up with sesshy was strange, but she would just have to wait to find out. And if she ever hoped to find out, she had to go see him. She climbed down the well and emerged in feudal Japan. It was bright thee. Unlike at home where rain drizzled from the clouds continuously. Not long after her arrival, she heard a cough that was meant to get her attention. Sesshy had appeared behind her. "how did you know I was here?" she asked, obviously puzzled. Sesshy sort of shrugged. "I know many things" he said, as though that was a satisfactory answer. But kagome most certainly was not satisfied. "I don't understand you. Why do you want me to keep coming back? Whats with your sudden interest?" sesshy leaned against a tree and seemed to be thinking. "you're an interesting girl." He said, smiling slightly. Kagome had to stop herself from screaming at him. She narrowed her eyes. "what do you mean?" she said, clearly irritated. Sesshy shrugged again, more noticeably this time. "I'm not sure myself." He knew it was a complete lie, but what was he supposed to say? `I think your hot, kiss me.'?(hahaha oh that was so not funny…but I cant help laughing.) "oh come on. There has to be a reason you asked me to come back. What do you want from me?!" sesshy sighed. (HAH! THAT'S 2 TO 7 KAGOME! OOOO HE'S CATCHING UP! WHAT NOW HUH? OWHAT NOW? …sorry I was having a moment. Lol) {I knew this wouldn't work. What was I thinking? Okay time to devise a plan B…} "I guess my interest was sparked by your connection to my brother. You have feelings for him, yes?" he said inquisitively. Kagome raised an eyebrow, but nodded. {DAMMIT} he thought. (lol just had to throw that in there…you know me…well actually…you don't…erm…well anyway back to the story lol) "And he has not returned your feelings, am I right?" he continued, cautiously. Kagome nodded again.(something tells me this nodding thing is gonna turn into a problem, like the sighing…) "and he is ready to become full demon,and go to hell with kikyo…" he continued before she could cut in "but he cant because you kept a jewel shard, because you are mad for his insensitive actions." Kagome gasped. (that's right kagome, no more nodding, I'm cutting you off! Haha) her response was quick and snappy. "How did you know?!"

"about the jewel shard or your feelings?" he was toyng with her emotions now…a bad move. Kagome frowned. "you know what I mean!"

"Like I said, I know many things." He smiled smugly to himself. "you were spying on me!" her accusation was harsh. Sesshy didn't flinch. He remained calm and collected. "no. not at all. I sensed the jewel. I have powers too, remember?" kagome felt slightly stupid now. "sorry." She muttered. "look," he said, "getting to the point, I'm trying to understand how you feel. I think we could get along quite well, you and me." Kagome looked at him. There was no sarcasm in his espression. For a second she even thought she saw concern. Sesshy couldn't believe his own words. {I don't remember this being part of plan B…its almost like those words came from my heart…} he kicked himself mentally for being so stupid. He liked this girl…but he had never really cared about anyone, except maybe Rin, but she was gone now, with a real family. He sighed again, and searched the dark confused eyes that darted over his face. (HAHA THAT'S 3! AND YOU STILL HAVE 7 KAGOME! WE'LL JUST SEE WHO WINS!! MWAHAHAHA!…what?! ^_^' stop looking at me like that! So I'm a lil crazy, whats new? Haha) almost immediately, kagome sighed, like some sort of strange chain-reaction. (DAMMIT…8 -.-)

"follow me" sesshy said. He smiled kindly at her. Kagome couldn't help it. She suddenly trusted him, and watched as he turned and began to walk. He didn't have to look back. He knew she was following.

A/N: alright! It took me all day to finally get this updated, but I did it! YAY ME! Lol. Srry about my random comments, but I hope they make u laugh! Hehe well I best go to sleep…I will update soon. Bye!
