InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ senior year.... ❯ As Time Changes, People Change ( Chapter 7 )

A/N ok first of all, I would like to point out that I have been updating every day here, so if u can, u mite as well check this every day. Secondly, nobody is reviewing! I know this may sound really rude and annoying, but is it really hard to write a couple of sentences about what u think of the story so far? Please I really want your opinions, now take that as a compliment and hit da review button!!! Lol ok on to the story…

Sesshy stopped in a plain in the forest. Kagome almost bumped into him, she had been staring at him for the past 10 miutes, that they had been walking. {he's not that bad looking…infact, he's kinda cute.} she blinked hard. {wait what the hell am I thinking?!} -

"Kagome? …Kaa-gomee?"

"Huh?" she had been submerged in her thoughts, and hadn't heard him at first. "oh. Sorry. What were you saying?" she said, forcing herself back to reality. "that's ok. I was just explaining, that this forest is my home. I don't usually travel much now. And I spend most of my nights here." He maneuvered his hand in the direction of a small wooden house. Kagome looked. {gee. wonderful. what is this, a field trip?!} "anyways," he continued, "are you hungry?" he asked. "not really…" Kagome wanted to turn and leave now. {why did I come in the first place?} she thought. Then she looked over at sesshy. {oh yeah…man he's hot. Oh no not this again! Whats wrong with me??} kagome screamed inside her mind. And tilting her head back, she smacked it against a tree trunk. {that felt good.} she thought, and repeated the movement over and over. Sesshy cocked his head to the side and gave her a puzzled look. "your…going to hurt yourself…" he said slowly. {whats wrong with her??} he thought

(gee there seems to be a lot wrong with kagome these days, stop asking that stupid question people! Even kagome is doubting herself! Lol get it together kagome!!) kagome looked at him, then caught herself repeating her thoughts. She smacked her head really hard this time, and looked away. Her head throbbed with pain. (wow that's gotta hurt…) she reframed from smacking her head, and grinded her teeth together, trying not to let her pain show. She'd look even stupider then. "kagome are you okay?" sesshy asked. "yes. Yes I'm fine I was just…" (being stupid? Moronic? Idiotic? Wondering why you r so dumb? …haha ok I'm done now. Please, by all means, continue reading) "it doest matter. Are you sure you don't want to eat?" kagome was ready to say yes, but the little voice hollered in the back of her head. `you know your hungry! Don't be stubborn! EAT! FOR GODSAKES EAT!!'

"no, I guess I'm kinda hungry." {oh god what did I just say? Thanks a lot you stupid voice!} (wow…kagome really has problems, she's listening to a little voice I'm not sure that's such a good idea…oh wait…I do that too…lol never mind…) kagome smiled slightly. sesshy smiled too. "great, so what are you going to cook?" he said. Kagomes smile dropped. She glared at him and started to walk off. "kagome. Kagome wait! I was just joking! I'm making ramen." He said hastily. {I really have to knock off the jokes… -.-} kagome stopped and turned. She blushed. "oh. Sorry I'm just not used to you being so…nice." Her expression twisted. That had come out wrong. "I mean…well…" sesshy grinned. "I know what you mean. I'm the evil brother huh?" kagome giggled. {good, he's not offended…I think}

sesshy sighed on the inside. (that counts right? Ramdom person: no… / Too bad! I'm counting it! That's 4 to 8 kagome mwahahaha!)

{why does everyone have to think like that about me? wait…why do I care? It's not like I wanna be good or anything…} sesshy thinking was giving him a headache. So he stopped. ( that's the real cure for headaches, it is. No thinking!! ^________^) sesshy walked into his little house, and kagome followed, sitting down around the cooking area. (which is on he floor in the middle of the room. Haha these people really need some technology, maybe I should go back and help…) minutes later they were eating. (let me rephrase that…they were eating in silence.) kagome lifted her gaze from her food to sesshy. She observed as he dipped his eyes over her body. { such a beautiful figure} he thought. Kagome was infuriated, but tried to contain her anger. She started conversation hoping to distract him from looking so rudely at her. "sooo…" (oh yeah, real good conversation starter. Lol) realizing she had noticed what he was doing, he darted his eyes over to a corner of the room. The little voice inside sesshys head was yelling at him. (that's right! We all have little voices inside our heads! Whether you like it or not!) `she's in your house, what are you waiting for?!'. He almost stood up and walked over to her. But just couldn't. { *sigh* who am I kidding? I cant take advantage of her like this…} (AHA! That makes 5 for sesshy!) the voice continued to shout inside him. `yes you can! Come on! What happened to plan B?!'

by now, kagome had finished her ramen. He still hadn't said a word. "well…heh looks like I'm done. Thanks for the food, gotta go bye!" she jumped up and made for the door. Sesshy jumped up too and followed. "wait!" kagome stopped reluctantly. The voice in sesshys mind went back to shouting. `now! NOW! Come on it's the perfect opportunity!' he put a hand on her shoulder. Kagome had the sudden impulse to run, but she couldn't, she was frozen, frozen to the ground and lost in his eyes. And what stared back into hers were so innocent, so pure of heart. He glanced away, and then back again. "will you return?" he asked. Kagome didn't know what was so hard about finding the word `no'. she had earlier decided that she knew what he was up to. But if he was going to take advantage of her, wouldn't he have done it already? She wondered about this. Then she gave up the search for words of rejection, she lost the urge to run, and she gained the ability to speak. "yea…sure. erm… I'm not sure when though. I have to go back to school for a couple of days." She said quietly. Sesshy smiled. She loved it when he smiled. "okay," he released his grip on her shoulder, "I will see you in a couple of days then. Goodbye kagome."

"bye." she replied, actually sad that she was leaving.

A/N: okay so the word for that isn't exactly interesting. Its more like…loooooong lol. My longest chappie so far. I hope it was worth reading. Well I guess I will update tomorrow…r/r I MEAN IT!!! Byebye ^_^
