InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ senior year.... ❯ a late morning, and a phone call ( Chapter 10 )

Kagome's alarm clock didn't go off the next morning. (gee…maybe its cause u left it on the floor by ur dresser and never reset it kagome! Stupid girl -.-) it was 12 thirty when she finally awoke. She rolled over lazily in bed, and then saw her clock on the floor. "hm. 12:30…" She yawned, and then suddenly jumped up. "12:30??? Holy shit I slept in!!!!!!!" she shrieked. (Whoa, delayed reaction. I have those moments all the time ^_^) she ran into the bathroom, skidding on the tiled floor. And hurriedly she slipped out of her pajamas, and jumped in the shower, turning the knob on. Icy cold water sprayed at her face. She clenched her teeth so as not to scream, there was jjust no time to let the water get warm. The water hit her body, and rolled around every curve, as she worked the shampoo into lather in her hair when finally, Half an hour later, she thrust the curtain back, and stepped out of the shower, and wrapped towel tightly around herself. {half an hour! That's the shortest shower I've ever had, sesshy better appreciate this sacrifice I'm making!} (yes. A real sacrifice. O.o I'm seriously starting to think she's germaphobic!) Back her room, she began digging through her closet, looking for something cute to wear. (Its so obvious she wants to show off to sesshy! *receives smack from kagome* OW! *rubs head and speaks in a whisper* she's just in denial!) She finally picked out a light pink midriff tank top. It had deep blue frills on the edges. She matched it with a black miniskirt (which is surprisingly longer then her school uniform skirt. I swear whoever assigned those uniforms is a perve!) she then went to her dresser, picked up a comb, and tackled the tangles in her hair. Once satisfied that it was straight and tangle-free, she picked up the hair dryer and…(dun dun dunnnnnnn) …dried her hair. (haha sorry couldn't resist) {wow my hair has really grown} she thought, looking in the mirror, at her long raven hair, that fell to her lower back. {a month or two and it'll be down to my butt!} she grinned at her reflection, then ran out of the room and down the stairs to the kitchen. After grabbing a sandwich, she walked to the front door, and slipped a pair of black flip flops on her feet and slung her backpack over her shoulder. Then the phone rang. Kagome groaned. Then she decided to forget about it. {Mom can pick it up. Jeez its not like I'm her receptionist!} she grabbed the door handle but heard her mom yell. " its for you kagome!" she dropped her bag. it landed with a thud on the floor. Then she walked over and picked up the phone, and before bringing it up to her mouth yelled back "I got it!"

"Hello?"

"Hey kagome. What's up? How you doing `gome? Can I call you `gome?"

" …No. Who the hell are you?"

"Common `gome, u know me. I'm saitouru, I'm in your math class."

"oh. Hi loser, can I call you loser?"

"haha. Your so cute when you act mean."

"…you just keep thinking that. What do you want?"

"Nothing babe. I was just wondering if you were okay. You were acting weird in class."

"I'm fine. And I would be even better if you called me by my name."

"Ok `gome. So…what di you do today?"

"Hmm lets see…I woke up, took a shower, had breakfast, and hung up on saitouru!"

With that kagome slammed the phone down. She retrieved her bag from the floor and walked out the door, jewel embedded in the palm of her hand for safekeeping.

A/N:ok that chappie was quite short. It was supposed to be longer, but the first time I added it, it didn't work, and then I lost my file, so I was trying to briefly recreate it. Ok ppl u kno wat to do….REVIEW! haha that rhymes. I'll prolly update tomorrow. Bye
