Sesshy lay awake on his `bed' that night. What kagome said had really hurt him. {she's not sure she loves me? What the fuck?! I hate being compared to my brother! Why does everything have to be about Inuyasha??} he growled at the thought of inu. He felt like he wasn't good enough. He hadn't slept at all by morning, and sesshy waas too exausted from thinking to get up. He didn't move till noon, motivated only by the thought that maybe kagome did love him, but just hadn't realized it yet.

The doorbell rang. Kagome walked to the door and eased it open. {Oh great} she thought sarcastically. Saitouru was at the door. "Um…hi." She said awkwardly. "hey babe! I was just wondering if you wanted to go for some ice cream." He said, taking her hand and turning as though she had already said yes. She tugged her arm back but he wouldn't let go. "No thanks. I'm…allergic." She said. {Wow that was one stupid lie…} she thought, wishing he would just go away. He definitely had a crush on her, and he was trying way too hard to get her to like him. Actually, he assumed she already did. That's why he bugged kagome so much, he may be hot, but he was definitely conceited and self-centered. {hn…reminds me of someone…} she thought smirking to herself. (*Cough cough* inuyasha….just incase u didn't realize ^____^) "How can you be allergic? You were telling Arianne about your favorite flavor on Tuesday." He said stubbornly. {Wow. Loser. Not only does he eavesdrop on my conversations, but he also remembers tiny details from them.} The conversation had mainly been about their weekend plans. "Yeah well you know, I was telling her what would be my favorite." She said quickly, making an attempt to close the door, and failing. {Wait a second…why am I bothering to lie to him? Why don't I just tell him to get lost?} "Okay then we won't get any ice cream. You wanna see a movie? How bout `The Price of Love'?" kagome pondered over this. She wanted to see that movie, but it was a chick flick…why did he want to see it? {Maybe he's not so bad…besides I have nothing else to do today. I might as well try going out with him} her mind momentarily flicked back to sesshy. (She's just in denial, cause she doesn't wanna think about sesshy all day… -.-) Saitouru had been waiting for an answer. "…My treat." He grinned. Kagome shrugged. "Sure." She said. They walked out to his car. It was a smooth forest green convertible. She got in beside him and put on her seat belt. He put the car in ignition and they drove off.

Inuyasha sat by the fire, explaining the dream he had to kikyo. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo were sitting not far off. They were all in deep thought about something or other. Shippo spoke up. "will we still stick together after Inuyasha leaves?" he asked. Sango and Miroku looked at each other. Shippo pouted. "if Sango doesn't mind." Miroku said, realizing he would probably never see Sango after they found all the jewel shards. Sure, he liked all girls, but he liked Sango for more than her body. Sango thought hard for a minute. She had grown used to Miroku, and she had to admit she did have a little crush on him, but she was nothing special to Miroku, just another girl. At least, that's what se thought. Sngo nodded. "At first…then we'll just see how it goes." She said, giving Miroku a `hands-off!' look.

When Inu finished talking, kikyo smiled; there was a glint in her eye. "I know where the shard is." She said. "Kagome must have it. It wouldn't be sesshomauru, because he has nothing to do with you and your life now." She said. Inu nodded. "That makes lots of sense." He stood up. "Where are you going Inu?" Miroku called from here he was sitting. "To find kagome. She has that shard and I want it!" Inu yelled. "I'll come too." Miroku said. Inu looked unsure, but shrugged. "Fine but don't expect me to wait up." He said, breaking into a run. Miroku sighed and muttered to Sango that he was gonna make sure Inu wouldn't hurt kagome. Then he followed, as fast as he could, catching up with Inu at the well.

The theatre they were in was empty, seeing as it was school hours (Saitouru skipped). During a make-out scene in the movie, saitouru leaned over, he put hes arm around kagome's neck and kissed her on the lips. Kagome tried to get away but couldn't, he held on to her too tight. He put the other hand up her shirt and felt around, and forced his tongue into her mouth, all the while pulling her closer. Kagome struggled but it was no use. He pulled her on top over him and put his other arm around her lower back, lifting up her skirt. He frantically searched for the buttons on her blouse and skirt. Kagome was freaking out, and not to mention infuriated. The hand with the shard embedded in it glowed. When he removed his mouth from hers for air, she took her chance, and using extra strength provided by the jewel shard, jerked him off, and he went flying 2 rows below them. Kagome quickly stood up, redoing the buttons on her shirt and skirt, and screamed at him. "YOU ASSHOLE! TAKE ME HOME!!" he stood up, rubbing his back. "Ouch."

"I SAID TAKE ME HOME! NOW!"

"Ok, ok!" he said, looking a little scared.

When he dropped her off at her house, he acted as though nothing had happened. "So, I'll see you at school?" she slammed the car door, and walked off silently.

Without meaning to, she walked over to the shrine. She sat on the edge of the well, looking at the jewel shard in her hand. "Thank god I brought this shard. That jerk! …Hey wait a second…I sense another shard…but that's impossible…Inuyasha has all the other shards…" Inu jumped out of the well, making kagome shriek and jump back. Miroku climbed up and stood beside him. "Give me the shard Kagome, I know you have it!" Inuyasha said in a loud growl. Kagome backed away. "I don't know what you're talking about." The shard glowed in her palm. (Wow she really sucks at lying.) Miroku sighed. Inu had seen the shard. "Just give it to him kagome. Let him become demon and leave. Who cares?" kagome slowly pulled the shard out of her hand. Inu grabbed it and fit it into the rest of the jewel. It glowed vibrantly, and so did Inu, and as he held the jewel, he transformed. His face turned dark, and his eyes flashed red. He dropped the jewel and snarled. Kikyo appeared as if out of nowhere. "Come Inuyasha, this pathetic human shall waste no more of our time." She said. They disappeared, leaving kagome in a stunned silence. Miroku picked up the jewel. He broke off a few shards. "You guard the rest of the jewel. I will take this shard so that you shippo, sango and I can travel through the well whenever, to see each other. Kagome nodded and took the remainder of the jewel.

A/N: mwahahaahaha, I could write a few more very important sentences, but I'm going to leave you in anticipation. *Devil horns and tail appear* mwahahaha lol I'll update tomorrow don't worry. R/r!
