"Hey!" Kagome said as Souta got in the backseat of the car. Souta grunted a reply. Kagome was about to start the car, but hesitated. "You can sit in the front if you like." She said, glancing back at him. Souta looked back at her. "No. I'm good." He said calmly, and diverted his eyes to look out the window. Kagome mentally kicked herself as she put the car into drive. {He's very pissed at me. I've really screwed up.}

When they got home, Kagome opened her mouth to speak, but as soon as she opened the door, Souta ran to his room. Kagome smacked her forehead, snatched the remote off the coffee table and flopped back onto the couch. She immediately jumped up at the memory of Saitouru. She tossed the remote onto the couch and sat on a chair instead. She shuddered, and saw goose bumps rise on her skin. {Is it cold in here or is it just me?} She brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs. Her thoughts returned to her worries of pregnancy. {Should I get a test?} She considered this. It couldn't hurt, but she was scared. {Well if I get pregnant there's always abortion…} but she knew she couldn't do that. It was like killing someone. That's how she felt about it anyway. {Besides, abortion costs money, and mom is already working really hard to keep up with the bills…and even more importantly, abortion is a dangerous surgery…} Kagome tilted her head against the back of the chair. She knew she had to find out if she was pregnant or not. She unwillingly stood up, and fished her car keys out of her pocket. She slipped her flip-flops back on her feet and called up to Souta. "I'm leaving ok? I'll be back in like 10 minutes!" she was going to add something about not opening the door for anyone, but she knew Souta was a smart kid, and she had already belittled him enough. (Yeah. He's a smart kid. Smarter than you Kagome since, he actually knows not to open the door. Hahaha - uh oh *barely dodges being punched by Kagome* missed me! :-P)

About 4 minutes later, Kagome ran to the door at the drug store. She slammed into it. She stepped back and rubbed her head. She looked at the door confused. {Why the heck is it locked? There are people in there…} she thought as she peered through the glass door. A guy walked up beside her, and pulled the door open by the handle. He held it open for her. Kagome blushed and muttered a thanks as she stepped inside. (Haha. Be real people, how many times have you done that? I've pushed on a door that said pull like 20 times…but I bet Kagome's done it like 100 times, considering she's a dumbass and all. Kagome: *growls and pulls out a dagger* / me: oh shit *hides under a rock*) she wasn't sure exactly where to look, and there was no way she was going to ask. After a few minutes she was standing behind a few people at the counter. By her side there was a little shelf thingy stacked with gum. She picked up Souta's favorite flavor. When she reached the cashier she put the two items on the counter and got out her wallet, and waited to pay. The lady at the cash register looked at her funny. Kagome blushed so deeply that she could feel the heat around her cheeks. She hastily paid grabbed her purchases and left.

As she walked to her bathroom, she passed Souta's bedroom door. She shoved the pregnancy test in her pocket and knocked on the door lightly. No answer. She waked in anyway. Souta wasn't there. She laid the pack of gum on his bedside table and walked out again, closing the door. She heard the TV downstairs. {Oh. So that's where he is.} She shrugged and walked to her bathroom. When she was done she didn't move. She was afraid to look at her test results. Finally, she looked. She stuffed it in the trash and leaned back against the wall. She had been unconsciously holding her breath. She let it all out…in relief. {I'm not pregnant I'm not pregnant lalala!!} She giggled and walked back to her bedroom. (That's right, everybody sing it! It's number one on the music charts! *Starts singing and dancing* I'm not pregnant I'm not pregnant! *Gets hit by a bus* Tina: -.-` will she ever learn?)

Kagome looked at the clock. It was 5:20pm. {Who says you can't sleep at 5?} She climbed onto her bed and buried her face in the pillow. Then there was a knock on the door. Kagome rolled onto her back and lifted her self up slightly, supported by her elbow. "Souta? You can come in."

A/N: okay I'll update soon…I'm in a little pain…*mutters* damn buses, why wont they leave me alone??

Tina: cause no one can stand it when you sing/dance.

Oh come on I'm not that bad! *Starts dancing and immediately gets hit by two buses, from both sides.* …ow

Tina: see my point?

No…I cant even see my hand in front of my face…*falls over in pain*

Tina: …someone should really call the ambulance…

A bunch of random people: *all look at Tina*
