Souta pushed the door open and shuffled into the room. He awkwardly perched himself on the edge of Kagome's bed. "Hey." He said. "Hi." Kagome replied, smiling weakly. There was a long silence, during which Kagome searched Souta's eyes with hers. He shifted his gaze toward the ground. He finally spoke. "I'm...I'm sorry I yelled at you." Kagome shook her head slightly. "Souta…Souta you don't need to be sorry, I've been treating you like a little kid. I'm sorry. I just didn't realize how much you've grown." She said softly, sitting up properly. " 'Gome…" Souta began, using her nickname. He was the only one who she allowed to use that name. (Special exceptions for Arianne of course) He paused, not sure what to say. He knew she was supposed to be sorry, but he couldn't stay mad at her, and that's why he had come to talk. They hadn't really talked since Kagome had gotten into high school. "…'Gome, I just miss you. There's like a huge gap between us…and you're gonna go to college next year and I'm still gonna be a little kid." Kagome's smile faded. She pulled Souta onto her lap and rested her chin on his head. "You're both right and wrong. I guess we have grown apart. But you're not really a little kid. We're gonna start fixing this now." (Bob the builder, can he fix it? Bob the builder, yes he can!! Hahahaha okay sorry I'm a little delusional. Tina: …a little? Me: -.-; yes Tina, oh-inquisitive-one. I am a little delusional. Tina: I beg to differ…Me: I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that ^_^ …for your sake…I'm so kind! ^_^ Tina:...Right. You just keep telling yourself that. Me: I will! ^_____^) Souta smiled and leaned back in Kagome's caring embrace. They sat like that, for maybe 2 hours. Kagome told him more stories of her `adventures' in feudal Japan. (Only the PG rated ones of course…none of those err…incidents with Sesshy. But she did include him.) When it was finally time for dinner and they were both hungry, Souta slid off her lap and they both went down to the kitchen. "I'll take you there tomorrow, just remind me in the morning." Souta grinned at this, and got some plates and forks. "Mac and cheese?" Kagome asked. Souta nodded and they sat down and ate together. (You don't think it's that weird for brothers and sisters to get along so well? I guess it kind of is. But I mean Souta looks up to her, and she has barely been home for the past three years…so your just gonna have to DEAL WITH IT. Ok? Ok. ^_^ Tina: …you're a little demanding…the readers are getting aggravated… Me:oh? What makes you think that? Tina: *looks out window and sees and angry mob of readers with torches and pitchforks* uh…nothing…nothing at all *locks door* ^_^;) Kagome went to bed that evening, content for once in her life.

A/N: yah yah…boring sentimental and shot. But I think its kind of cute! Tina: *whispers to readers* how do ya'll put up with her? I would go insane if I actually listened to her during the story. Me: I HEARD THAT! Well you wanna know how I put up with you? Tina:…not really…*gets hit on the head with a club* @_@ Me: …too bad. ^_^ Well…r/r I'll leave ya'll in suspense for now! Tina: *regains consciousness* do you think they really care? Me: …do you ever shut up? Or I dunno…say something helpful? *Grip on club tightens threateningly* Tina: *gulp* REVIEW! FOR MY SAKE! Me:yep, cause if you don't…someone might die…*looks around shiftily* Tina: is that a threat? Me: no…it's more like a fact…^_^ Tina: O.O Me: bye all!
