Chapter 3: A....Friend?

Chp. 3

Suddenly the whirlwind stopped about two feet in front of kagome. As the dust and dirt disappeared there stood Koga.
" Hi, Kagome, hope that your safe."
" Oh, hi Koga. Um ... What're you doing here?"
" Well I was looking for Naraku and caught your sent, as well as others."
Koga then looked at Akira, then Inuyasha.
" So, another mutt-face ,hunh? She looks like she's related to you. Is she your little puppy sister?"
But Koga didn't realize until after he finished talking that Inuyasha was up in a tree, on a branch. Koga Laughed.
"Haha, what's the matter dog-boy? You scared?"
Inuyasha, who actually did look scared, but smiled,despite that he wanted to kill koga and looked like an idiot,
said " I'm the least of your worries, wolf.", Then pointedat Akira and started to laugh."
" Now you're in trouble."
Akira had heard " mutt-face" and that didn't just make her mad, her temper got out of control and electricity,
blue poison, and flames surrounded her.
Akira's, was golden eyes, burned blood-red.
Akira asked" Who're you calling mutt-face, wolf-boy?
And as for as me bring ' Little puppy sister', as true as that may be, no one says that except Inuyasha and Sesshomaru
because thay are my older brothers."
"Sesshomaru? Who's that? Everyone seems afraid of him, but what good does that do? I mean, no one's faster than me!"
Akira, stunned, asked " You mean to tell me that you don't know my and Inuyasha's elder brother?
Lord Sesshomaru of the West ?"
" Nope."
Akira's eyes were turning back to golden, and well were sparkling. The blue poison and flames were slowly disappearing,
but the electricty seemed to stay. Akira's hair was staticky, not as in standing straight up in the air, but was like
static waves, moving with the wind and like , as if you touched them, you'd be shocked, now a smile was
forming on her lips,
slowly, and her claws seemed longer, but that dangerousness never left.
" If you say no one's faster than you, you must be crazy."
" Why's that?"
" No Matter how fast you are, Sesshomaru's a hundred, maybe four hundred times faster than you'd ever wish!"
"Dream on, mutt!"
" Fine, how about I prve it!"
Inuyasha, who was out of the tree now, said," Feh, What makes you think you can prove it? It ain't like he'll come back here."
" He will, that is if he doesn't want that secret of his to come out."
Then her smile widened and something sparkling reddish-gold flew into her left hand. She brought her
left hand up to her face about five inches away, and opened her hand. Immediately that reddish-gold glow
illuminated her face, she whispered to whatever it was, then turned her back toward the others, openned her,
and away that light went.
Koga was watching her intently, and he somewhat saw the light go very fast, maybe faster that him.
Akira turned around and said" You see wolf-boy? Some things are faster that others, or in your opinion slower."
They waited for about thirty minutes before they felt a wind, then Sesshomaru appeared, looking like he wantedto kill Akira,
although he always seemed that way, anyway.The little reddish-gold glow disappeared and Sesshomaru just stood there.
koga was thinking along the lines of the fact he might've made a mistake, but like all wolves, demon or
not, his pride took over everything except confidence, Koga said " Ha, no mutt-face is faster than me! I have
jewel shards in my legs!"
Sesshomaru just stood there, watching and listening to that fool wolf. He still listened, not moving an
inch ,and watching, as well.
"You're so full of yourself! And I thought I told you to watch who you called 'mutt-face'!"
" So why don't you do anything about it youself? Instead, you have your big brothers come, like a little coward."
" Yes, Akira, I'd like to know that as well." said Sesshomaru
"Well, . . . I . . .um. You see I . . . Kinda got . . a boyfriend."
" A boyfriend?"
Sesshomaryu asked, looking at her.
" What! Since when have you got a boyfriend?!" Inuyasha asked, but shouted.
" Hey aren't we getting off the subject? I mean koga and Sesshomaru have a race to start and finish. So
what're we waiting for ?" Akira asked, blushing
Koga, who was starting to got impatient said " Yeah, I've a race to win, besides . ." Koga looked at
Sesshomaru and continued " You don't look tough to face and no one's faster than me!"
Those words could've been koga's worst, most fatalist mistake he ever did in his life!
Sesshomaru was behind koga in not even a half -second, had his poison claws around koga's neck, lifted him
up and tossed koga into a tree like he was dirt!
Koga didn't even know what happened to him in that split - to a whole second. The only thing koga knew was that he was knocked out.
The others watched, amazed, as koga flew into the tree, upside down.
"He must've made Sesshomaru mad to be thrown into a tree upside down, wouldn't you think?"
Shippo asked
" Uh-huh" was Sango and kagome's reply.
Inuyasha walked up to Akira and asked " What's this about you having a boyfriend?"
Akira started to blush all over again and brought up her fan to cover her face. She looked down at the
ground wandering' what the hell am I supposed to do now?,' then that wonderful reddish-gold glow returned,
and Akira, happy for the distraction , brought down her fan and said" It's time you met my fairy! Her name is
Namu, she's a fire fairy! Isn't she adorable?"
Sango and kagome thought so.
Namu had a very miniture kimono, with a little sash around her waist. Namu had her hair up in a little bun,
even though they couldn't see Namu's eyes or features, they could tell she was beautiful. And that reddish-
gold glow made her gloriously beautiful, even though she was so small. Akira was smiling, she said" I know
you can't tell from this distance, but Namu's eyes are red- orange. Like I said she's a fire fairy, she came from
the East, where I now live with my hu...er, boyfriend!"
"So who's your boyfriend? Since when did you have one?" Inuyasha asked, wanting to get to the bottom
of this.
" Long time no see, right Inuyasha? Besides this is exactly why I didn't tell you in the first place! Especially
since the last time I had a boyfriend I was only fourteen and you idiots got freaked out and stared chasing him
all around that castle!"
"Don't blame me! He started it!" replied Inuyasha, but Akira didn't seem to hear, fore she said" And to
then make matters worse Sesshomaru turned into his demon form! Like it wasn't enough to pop up in every
direction he tried to go!"
" Feh... it was funny! He was a cat!"
" Did it look like I cared!!"
" No, but I did. I didn't want a cat anywhere near my castle." Sesshomaru said.
