“Daddy!!!!!!”

Mimi cried. The little girl looked up at her father with large, dark sapphire blue eyes.

 

“Yes, Ayumi chan.”

 

“You said I could get a puppy!!!!”

 

“I don't recall the memory of my approval.”

 

He gently implied to her while stroking her fuzzy white ears on top of her 4 yr. Old head.

“Daaadddddyyyyy!!!!!” Mimi cried again.

 

“No.”

Mimi dropped off her father's leg and jumped on to the floor. She ran to her mother for comfort.

 

“Mommy!” Mimi cried as she jumped into Kagome's arms.

 

“What's making my little Mimi so upset?”

 

“Daddy said we could go get a puppy and now he says no!!”

 

Mimi cuddled closer to her mother's chest as her dark blue eyes clouded with tears. Kagome cuddled her daughter and looked towards her husband in disgust.

 

“Lord Sesshomaru, I remember you to be a youkai of your word. Am I right?”

“Well, yes. But Ayumi-chan is much too spoiled and needs to be said no to.” Kagome sighed and looked at her daughter.

 

“Look honey. Mommy will go get a puppy with you. Is that okay?”

Ayumi vigorously shook her head, sending her tears flying through the air.

 

“I want Daddy to go with me.”

 

“We are NOT getting a pet.” He said with finality.

 

“Sesshy-chan…” Kagome called sweetly.

 

`Uh oh…' Mimi quickly scurried off, knowing this would turn things in her favor. A flash, crash, and bump later, Sesshomaru and Ayumi were ready to go to the village, where she first saw the puppy she wanted.
