Hiten stood over the fallen female, she was still alive. "Impressive for a little bitch like her." he thought, he had been convinced his lightning would have killed her, but no, not this bitch. But his thoughts were cut in half when he saw the silver haired hanyou remove his sword from his little brother's body. "No, please God.. No MANTEN!!" his mind screamed and he began snarling in sorrowful rage.

- You fucking asshole, you killed my little brother!! he screamed and launched against Inuyasha.

- Keh!! he had it coming. You killed my pup's parents, and now you are going to pay for it, said Inuyasha.

- INUYASHA!Stay down, let me handle this lowlife.

Inuyasha looked up and saw his brother standing next to Sango. "Shit Sango - she is hurt!" He then looked back at his brother and he saw his blood red eyes. "Shit Hiten is done for." was all he could think as he backed down.

- Watch over my mate brother, said Sesshoumaru and raised his claws.

- Yes Sesshou-kun, answered Inuyasha and kneeled next to Sango. She was still alive, but she was hurt badly.

Hiten saw the other one and recognized him as the lord of the western lands. He swallowed hard, this on would be more difficult to kill than the hanyou.

- Give up now Hiten, and I will kill you without pain, said Sesshoumaru, his hands began glowing in a sickly green colour.

- Ha! Do you think you can take on me? snarled Hiten viciously.

- What I believe is of no issue here, it's your life. You have trespassed into my lands and wrecked havoc among the villages I could have overlooked that but you hurt my mate and that will cost you your life Hiten.

- Sesshoumaru-sama has taken a human bitch as mate? Don't make me laugh my lord!

- She stood against your most powerful attacks, and I can see several bruises on your face, I guess she put up a real fight.

Hiten's mouth twitched, he did not needed to be reminded of that. The woman's boomerang had crushed several bones in his body when she hit him, but he was an extra ordinary fast healer, but still, his body ached from the fight with her. It was time for this bastard to die and then he would finish of that bitch from hell. He let loose a wave of energy against the lord but he just dodged it and moved in on Hiten. "Fuck, he is too fast for me!" thought Hiten when he saw the green claw come rushing forward. The next second his world was filled with a burning pain. Sesshoumaru had ripped the heart from his body with his poisonous claws.

- Now is the time to say your prayers, snorted the lord and turned around as the last of the Thunder brothers dissolved into a puddle of goo.

Sesshoumaru took Sango into his arms and carried her carefully back to the others. She had taken some serious beating and was in need of his care. Ayame whimpered when she saw the lifeless body of Sango inside the lord's arms. Inuyasha ensured her that she would be just fine. All she needed was to get some rest to heal her wounds.

- Inuyasha, go back to the temple and wait for us there, said Sesshoumaru.

- Will you be ok here?

- Yes, I will take care of her. Please take Rin with you.

- Ok brother, we will wait for you at the temple.

And with that they parted. Shippou was both sad and happy. He was glad that they had avenged his parent's death, but he felt a bit sad for Sango, she had been hurt because of him.

- Come here son, said Inuyasha and picked up the little kitsune.

- Don't be sad, Sango fought very bravely for you because she likes you and you are too small to fight for yourselves. But I will train you so you will be as good as the taijya and her sister ok?

- Thank you papa, sniffled Shippou and hugged his surrogate father.

- Come Shippou, I raise you to the end of the canyon, yelled Rin with a happy smile. She was not at all worried for her sister, her oneesan was strong and she had Sesshoumaru-sama who took care of her. Her sister would be just fine.

- Ok Rin.

Inuyasha released his grip on Shippou and the two youngsters ran off with a dizzying speed. He smiled and looked at Ayame and pulled her in for a kiss. They kissed as the followed the children back to the temple.
