Chapter 1:she new

I new it would happen but could never bring her self to face the real truth, inuyasha would die. But not only from an enemy but from the enemy who was once the women he loved. Yes I new kikyo would find some way to kill inuyasha some how but looking at him and knowing how much he felt for the dead minko I had always hoped that they would find some way to be together, true I had also fallen for the dense haoyu and she hated her self for falling for his rustic and some how appealing charm. As the time past the pain of caring for some one who would not care for you back became nothing more then a dull throb. He would always be a close friend and brother to me and I was content to settle with that. Three years have past cense the day kikyo betrayed inuyasha to Naraku the evil haoyu made a deal with the dead minko promising her that in exchange for her betrayal of inuyasha and the shikon no tama shards he would retreave the rest of her soul which meant killing me, its funny at one time that would not have seemed so bad, it would have been a sweet release from my emotional pain. But that's what I thought before……….Damn I need to learn not to get off track anyway back to what I was telling you before. Ok so kikyo convinced inuyasha to give her the jewel shards she bated him with the promise that she would stay with him and let him protect her. So he snuck into kiades hut and stole them out of my bag but really inuyasha does he think I would just sleep and not notice not only can I sense them but they came from my body of course I would feel it if then where moving away from me. So I followed him just to find what I had feared he would do ever since someone finally convinced me the extent of what inuyasha would do for the clay pot Bitch. (A/T: sorry can't stand the damn clay pot no offence to kikyo lovers, but if your one I recommend you don't read this) well before I go any ferther into what happened with inuyasha I best tell you about his brother, I know your problebly wondering why I would bring up one of inuyasha's worst enemies well that's just it inuyasha's enemy not mine he saved my life really don't ask me why, all he would ever tell me was that I was intriguing, and that some one that had as much power as I did should not be a defenseless human so he gave me an offer if I agreed to look after his charge when he had things to do and heal his arm he would train me and give me his word that he would not kill inuyasha even over the blasted sword. I knew inyasha would NEVER let me go with sesshoumaru and if I told my friends they would worry to much so I made up a quick lie about having to go back to my time to see a family memberand that I did not know when I would return but it may be a while and I was taking shippo with me at first they seemed reluctant to believe me but with a good many SITS and a few choice words they let me go without complaint. But just to make sure inuyasha did not follow me I went into the well and stayed for a day just so he would believe me. Shippo was a bit shocked and scared to say the least when I told him where we where going and who we would be with, hmph he thought I had lost my mind. But I told him that we would be safe so that night sesshoumaru met me at the well by then Shippo was a sleep in my arms. Sesshoumaru agreed that shippo would be a good play mate for Rin his human charge. So with all said and done we set off for his home in the western lands and well that tail of his is strong and soft I wonder if he brushes that thing hehe. We arrived at his castle its very beautiful which is something you would not expect from the living incarnation of killing perfection. I spent a year under his watchful and protective eyes. He has trained me and I have mastered the kitana and kai whip but my true skills lie in the three pointed weapon Sais I use them with speed grace and power in battle I can best sesshoumaru with this weapon but he kills me easily with a sword. Only as a demon would I truly be able to match sesshoumaru in battle. I had always wondered if it was possible for a human to become a demon. Anyway over that year me inuyasha's brother became close friends and me like a mother to Rin teaching her how to read and write and how to control her Minko powers that were starting to manifest how did I know well I might be that fact that she almost fried sesshoumaru's tail clean off and would have if I had not been there but well lets just say it was a bit singed which put sesshy-sama in a bad mood for a while. Shippo also learned a few things from sesshoumaru that only a demon could teach, like how to control your yukai and other such things. When the time came for us to go back to inuyasha we made a promises to one another that we would see each other again, I don't know if I could have stayed away for by that time I had fallen and fallen hard for the one person who would sign the pact that inuyasha would hate me forever I have fallen in love with Sesshoumaru demon lord of the western lands and hated brother of inuyasha…. Seems kinda stupid me falling in love with a once hated enemy but sesshoumaru had done something I didn't think he would ever think to do, he had held together the heart that inuyasha had left cracked. Well back to before I had followed inuyasha into the woods after he took the shikon no kakara from my bag and I found him with kikyo just as I had feared I would, he was holding her and handing her the shards, and all I could think at that moment was oh god sesshoumaru you where right…

~flashback~

"why inuyasha, I do everything for you I stand by your side even when you hurt me with your words yet you still think of me as nothing but a shard detector….nothing but a copy of her!". Sesshoumaru opened the door and walked in silently, he reached down and wiped a tear from her eyes "wrench stop your crying he is not worth your tears" she looked up at him a surprised expression on her face ~is he trying to comfort me? Does he really care?~ "why would you care" "I care because I know you are stronger then this, but you have let the stupidity of the halfbreed break your spirit, I don't know how you could ever love the baka but you must learn that it is he that has lost something truly" "why he would rather be with a dead girl rather then a live one shows his stupidity but one thing is clear he would betray and kill you for her at anytime, she would only have to ask." "no inuyasha would……….he couldn't!!" "he will betray you kagome there is no doubt in my mind." ~and I will be there to pick up the pieces kagome I don't know how I have fallen for you but now that I have I can never let you go if it takes inuyasha to hurt you so you can see whats in front of you know then so be it you only have to wait mark my words inuyasha will betray you all on his own~

~end flash back~

I heard every word as he called me nothing but a tool a shard detecter. He promised to get her soul back and I new as well as he did that if he did it would kill me and just as sesshoumaru said inuyasha would do it and careless as long at it was for his beloved kikyo…

(A/T): well that's it for now I will update but I need reviews REVIEWS!! Please! This is the first inuyasha fanfiction that I have posted in a long long time so I hope you enjoy. Flames will be enjoyed and laughed at so please by all means send them.
