Hey my lovely readers! My my writing a fic is harder than I thought. *sigh* Remember to please pardon the errors i make (such as grammer, spelling, things like that.) Shared life chapter number 15

Inuyasha woke first around midnight. Their positions in bed didn't change much except that Kagome's face was about a centimeter away from his and his leg was wrapped around her. It was easy enough to get up without waking her, but he didn't want to move. He wanted to see what she would do when she woke. Therefor, he just closed his eyes again and blew lightly on her nose. Just enough to wake her. As she stirred and woke, Inuyasha feigned sleep and payed close attention to what she would do.

Kagome woke up feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. At first she just enjoyed it but then she remembered why. She fell asleep next to Inuyasha. She opened her eyes when she noticed the extra weight on her leg.

Kagome blushed at seeing Inuyasha so close. She got herself under control long enough to look down and see his leg over hers. That triggered her blushing again. She looked back up at Inuyasha. 'He's so peaceful... I don't want to wake him but maybe I can...' kagome stopped her thought and decided to try it. She wiggled around a bit and moved down just a little. She repeated the action until she was able to put her head under his chin. His leg ended up high on her thigh but she was much more comfortable. She gave out a content sigh and slipped back into her dreams of her hanyou.

Inuyasha enjoyed her reaction very much. He could feel the heat of her blush both times. His favorite bit though was when she moved. He was much more comfortable as well. Inuyasha laid his arm around Kagome and held her close. Relishing in her scent, Inuyasha fell back asleep.

~after sunrise [7:49am] ~

Inuyasha woke to the sounds of some one walking in to Kagomes room. By the smell of things it was Kagomes mom. He decided to ignore her and just sleep more, but Mrs. H had other plans.

Mrs. H walked in as quietly as she could , trying not to wake the sleeping hanyous. She stopped for a moment to admire how peaceful they looked, but she had plans for them today. If she remembered correctly, Inuyasha still needed modern clothing. She doubted that gramps clothes would work for much longer. Therefor she had to wake them. She walked to the window and opened the curtians. Which happened to let in the morning light.

Kagome flinched at the light and curled up against Inuyasha, trying to block out the bright sun rays. Inuyasha just groaned and turned his head down in his own effort to stay asleep.

Kagome sniffed around and discovered that her mother was the one to rudely awaken them. So she grumbled her favorite line for such a situation.

"Five more minuets mom." Kagome ended it with a yawn and tried to go back to sleep. Inuyasha silently agreed and tried to sleep as well, but mother would see none of that.

"Hey you two get up. You need to but Inuyasha some modern clothes and find the advanced miko you were babeling about the other day. Breakfast will be ready in ten minuets."

"We can *yawn* do that later Mrs. H.," protested Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha, just call me mom. You're like a son to me anyway." Inuyasha was about to protest that too but mom interrupted that. "Now wake up. You need to get an early start on the day." Mom bustled out of the room as Kagome stirred around. Inuyasha let go and moved his leg so Kagome could sit up. Kagome was still out of it when her mother was talking so she wasn't sure just why she was awoken.

Inuyasha sat up as well and gave out a big yawn. Kagome waited for him to finish before asking him what her mother wanted.

"She just said that we need to buy me clothes and find the advanced miko. She also told me to call her mom but I don't know why." Actually, he did know but he'd tell her that another time.

"Oh, well lets go eat. That food smells good." The pair of hanyous jumped down all the stairs with ease and reached the kitchen for some well deserved food with the Higurashi's. Imagine their suprise at seeing so little food prepared. Kagome spoke up her concerns as she and Inuyasha sat at the table.

"Mom, why is there so little food. Where is everyone?"

"Sota just left for his soccer practice with Gramps. They'll be back later."

"Oh. Well aren't you eating?"

"Nope, I've got my swimming class today so I already ate. Now eat up and get busy, ok? I'll see you both later. Bye Inuyasha, Kagome." Mom set down the pancakes she made and left Inuyasha and Kagome alone. Eventually they just shrugged it off and ate.

It was ok for a while but soon they started to pick food off of each others plate. Inuyasha would reach for something on Kags plate and she would lightly hit his hand. But he caught on and learned not to drop the food. Then Kagome would drink his orange juice while he started towards her plate. But soon enough the food was gone and they had to go. And since Inuyasha fell asleep in his clothes from the other day, all they had to wait for was Kagome to dress.

Soon they were out the door without a clue on what to do. Which Inuyasha intelligently brought up.

"Now what Kagome?"

"I guess we'll go buy you some clothes. I still have some money left over from yesterday, we'll go to the store."

Kagome decided to walk to the store and since Inuyasha didn't know the way, he followed her. They got some stares but they just ignored them. They were both just enjoying the walk in the sun as they thought of random things.

Kagome kept thinking of the 'advanced miko' they were supposed to find. But after a while her thoughts strayed to Inuyasha. She thought of how she pined for him and how he 'didn't' like her that way. She stoped her thoughts before they became noticable. If she kept it up she'd start mopeing. They were almost there anyway.

Inuyasha walked next to Kagome in a comfortable silence. He tried to think of other things but once again for the millionth time, he ended up thinking of Kagome. He was beginning to get a solid plan on telling her of his desire. He replayed how he wanted it to go in his head and had to stop. There was just a big blank he had to fill in. But he had to do it later 'cuz they just reached the store they were at before.

They walked in and instead of going to the womens department, they went towards the mens wear. Kagome knew they had stuff to do so she made the trip short. She picked out a few baggie jeans and some shirts that he tried on. Some stuff they put back but the rest was good enough for him.

Inuyasha ended up walking out of the store in baggy black jeans and a white wife beater with a red over shirt with dragons on it. Inuyasha liked it because it was comfortable and Kagome liked how it showed off his abs.

It was still earlie when they got out of the store so they had pretty much all day to find that advanced miko person. Inuyasha spoke after they started walking.

"Hey Kag?"

"Hmm?"

"Where are we going now?"

"I guess we'll go to the police station. They might know of an advanced miko or miko specialist. "

"Why would these 'po-lice' guys know of 'em?"

"Well, they might use a miko to help find a bad guy or something."

"Oh, that makes sence I guess." Kagome stopped walking so Inuyasha had to stop as well. They just stood there for a moment in silence until Inuyasha got bored and asked why they were just standing there.

"Inu, you know what my moms car is right?"

"Yea...."

"Well we are waiting for a really big car called a bus. Its so big because it carries alot of people around."

"Oh, Why are we waiting for this bus? We could walk there."

"Inuyasha, it would take too long to walk and I want to get there soon."

"Then lets run." For just a second, Kagome forget about how she was a hanyou. But that quickly passed as she gave a slight smile and jumped onto the building behind her. Inuyasha watched her go and followed after he couldn't see her anymore.

The bus turned the corner and the driver thought he was hallucinating. He could of swore that he just saw a white hair girl jump on top of a 5 story building from the bus stop followed shortly by a white haired boy. Then he tossed his waterbottle of watered down vodka out the window. 'No more of this shit for me!'

Kagome jumped from rooftop to rooftop with Inuyasha right behind her watching her silently. The two of them were quickly making their way to downtown. They made to the outskirts of downtown and stopped. Kagome looked around for a moment until she found where they could jump down unseen. Unfortunetly for Kagome, she didn't see the gang that was going to turn into her chosen alleyway.

Inuyasha landed on the ground seconds before the group turned and saw them. For a minute they were all at a loss on what to do. They all just stood there. The gang of or so looking at the white haired couple while Inu and Kag glared at the boys. After a few seconds of that, Inuyasha Kagome headed towards the street entrance that the boys were blocking.

The hanyous stopped before the thugs and Inuyasha gave them a glare that would send them 6 feet under if looks could kill. Kagome just stared at them as Inuyasha took over the negotiations.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Kag you up for a fight? I've been restless for the past week." The group just watched as the two conversed.

"Yea Inu, I'm up for a round or two. Ever since my last fight I've been dying for another adrenalin rush just like it." Kagome made sure that it sounded like she fought someone everyday, but made sure Inuyasha knew that she was explaning what she felt during her fight with Koga. Inuyasha gave her a quick genuine smile and waited for the group to speak.

After a second, the leader stepped foward and gave an intelligent response to what they were saying.

"You want to fight us, huh?" Kagome sighed and spoke to him with sarcasam pulsing off of her in waves.

"No. We just like to talk about retarded, irrelevant, things because of our brain damage from being stuck on a high speed rollercoaster for 7 hours. Stupid ass." The leader guy scoffed and spoke again.

"You don't want to fight us. Why, you ask? Because we got knives that we are very good with." Each of the five guys took out their own personal blade, each of a different color.

Inuyasha chuckled and gave a smart ass response to the group.

"We got our own sharp objects as well...." Inuyasha flexed his claws and Kagome quickly caught on and did the same. All in all the two hanyou's looked ready to kill.

The head of the gang cried out as the battle began.

"We don't go down without a fight!" And with that said, the short battle went under way.

Kagome had the privilege to take down two of the thugs. The first one ran at her and she just sidestepped and tripped him. He knocked his head on a dumpster and he went out like a light.Bad boy number two was a bit smarter. Kagome did another sidestep but the boy anticipated it and swung his arm around. He sliced Kagomes left arm. She growled and picked him up by his collar. After glaring at him, Kagome threw him at the wall and watched him crumple up on the ground after.

Whle this was going on, Inuyasha had his own set to deal with. The thee remaning boys circled him, thinking that they could all surround him and smash him in a three way colission. Oh how they were sadly mistaken. When the trio was mere nanoseconds away from Inuyasha, he jumped and looked down to see them bonk heads and all fall backwards. He laughed and landed gracefully next Kagome.

"Good job Inu. Gods... I just love the rush I get from fighting Inuyasha. I wont go out looking for fights but man, that was exihlierating. My fight with koga was better though. Well come on... we still have a miko to find." Kagome took Inuyashas hand and started to walk out of the ally. But right before they turned the corner, two cops came to see what the noises were about. Seeing them walk away from five unconsious guys didn't help the picture much.

Kagome froze and griped Inuyashas hand tighter before she spoke in such a light voice that only he could hear.

"Inu, these are police officers, but don't ask about the miko or anything. We need to ask their boss at the headquarters. That and these ones could be mad at us for knocking out those guys." Just as Kagome finished, Inuyasha nodded and the bigger cop spoke.

"What's going on here?"
