Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha!
Now I'm going to get down on one knee and beg you to PLEASE REVIEW! That's all I'm going to say on that matter! Enjoy!

Chapter 1
`What was that,' I thought as I felt a large flare of energy for a second.
The energy continued to flare continuously like an annoying alarm clock, steadily increasing in power. Trying to focus my attention back on the history professor I completely was unprepared for the extreme jolt that went through my body from head to toe. Looking down at my hands I noticed they were shaking and glowing with a soft pinkish light that I hadn't seen in 5 years.
With a gasp I dropped the pen I held tightly in my right hand and pushed my chair back away from my desk. The professor stopped for a moment and sent a glare my way as the chair made a high pitched squeaking noise that cause some students to turn around in surprise at the sudden intruding noise.
Quickly slipping my hands behind my back I apologized and gathered my things as quickly as I could. Making my way down the stadium style seating of Tokyo University's history department I exited the room through the swinging doors on the left side of the room. Standing alone in the polished hallways of the university I leaned against the wall and glanced down at my hands to notice they were still glowing.
`What's going on,' I thought, bringing my hands up in front of my face to examine them in surprise. `Why are my hands glowing like this, it looks like my arrows did when I was in the Feudal Era.'
I felt another jolt of energy, this one sending a painful shock through my body. Gasping from the pain, I braced myself with one arm against the wall. A small drop of sweat fell from my hairline down to my chin. Suddenly, a strong feeling came over me, and I began to walk. I walked swiftly out of the large building that had been my home for the past 3 years and out onto the packed streets of Tokyo's business district.
As soon as I turned onto a familiar street near my home as a child I realized where I was being pulled toward.
`The well.'
Understanding now what was going on I began to run in the direction of the shrine I had grown up in and hadn't seen in 3 weeks since Spring Break. Ascending the stairs quickly and expertly I dropped my bag against the well houses walls as I yanked open the sliding wooden door.
A dusky scent assaulted my lungs as the contained and stilled air within the well house was finally released for what seemed like years. The well houses interior had seen better days. The wooden structure seemed to be rotting from the inside out. One of the shelves that had lined the walls had fallen down; all the items that had sat upon it had fallen in an unceremonious pile of scrolls and knick-knacks.
Ignoring the smell and decaying structure I turned my attention toward the well that sat at the base of the stairs. It was just as I had last seen it; a wooden board still covered the top and I could see the nails from here that I had hammered around the edge to ensure it wouldn't be moved. As an extra precaution I had sealed it with an arrow pumped with my miko powers. The only thing odd was the bright pinkish-purple light that shined through the small cracks.
For a long time I just stood and stared in wonder at the glowing well. Finally I gained control of my body once again to move toward it. Descending the old wooden steps my mind wandered to the time when I was younger and I would race down the stairs because I was late to meet Inuyasha on the other side. Once I was standing in front of it I felt the immense power trying to break through my sealing barrier. Whatever it was, it's attempts, no matter how strong, weren't succeeding and the well continued to remain sealed and repel the opposing enemy.
Reaching out my glowing hands I held them above the wells sealed entrance and closed my eyes. The moment they shut the `thing' on the other side sent a strong amount of energy and it took a lot for me to repel the attack. Whatever was on the other side was powerful, which meant I couldn't let it come into this time.
Opening my eyes I was unaware that they continued to glow a silver color with swirls of pink and purple. Placing my hand on the arrows length I grasped it firmly and yanked it up and out, away from the wood; at that same moment a large crash was heard as a large creature leapt out of the well with a howl. Stepping back as it leapt upwards and crashed through the roof, I stared intensely at the creature that intruded upon my territory.
As it landed outside, I stared in complete and utter shock. For there in front of me was none other than Kirara, the saber-toothed fire cat demon who traveled with Sango.
“Kirara?”
With a growl and mew the transformed cat demon leapt at me, scooped me up and onto her back before suddenly leaping back into the now open well. Darkness met my eyes before the well was once again activated and a white light surrounded us, transporting us 500 years into the past.
The past I swore I would never return to.
The place where I had left my heart.
How was that? I know it was short but I'm saving myself for the next chapter which is going to be sigh REALLY long hopefullyâ€.well long for me at leastâ€I've already got 4 pages written and at least 3 more to go! Well I'm outties!
