Chapter 4
Kagome sat in a chair backstage, Rin, the hairstylist and makeup artist was combing her hair painfully scarping her scalp. She winced, "Sango, I didn't know we were gonna hvae to go through this!" she excalimed, earning a laugh from Rin and Sango. "Well, that's the buisness you're about to enter, beware!" she said makine Kagome laugh. "THERE NO WAY IN HELL I'M WEARING EYE LINER!!" came Inuyasha's angrey voice, loud through the area. Then he stormed out of a near by dressing room. "But Inuyasha, it'll look great on you." said the make up artist. They all think he's gay, and he probably was the way he was drooling over Inuyasha. Inuyasha shivered as his skin crawled he walked next to Kagome. "I'm not a fag, I don't wear make-up." he said. Kagome grabbed his hand in giggled. "What's so funny?" he huffed, making Kagome break into laughter. "It's just eyeliner, that's all. I guess since I wear it I don't see it as a big deal to wear." she said smiling. "Kagome, please get Inuyasha to wear the fucken eyeliner! If we don't then we might be late to getting on stage, and do you want that?" whispered Rin in her ear so no one heard as the began curling her hair. Kagome looked at Inuyasha and began to pout a little. "What's with the face, what do you want?" he said rolling his eyes, but smiling slightly. "Will you wear the eyeliner, for me." she said her eyes getting dewy. He sighed. He didn't say anything. "Inuyasha?" she said, poking him. "Ok, ok, but only this one time." he said sounding angry, but a hint of amusement behind it. He leaned down and kissed her. "Allright, let's go get this torture over with." he said walking back towards the dressing room, the make-up artist following behind him.
"Thanks Kagome, now what blush to use on you." Rin smiled moving from her hair to her face, make-up kit in hand.
Kagome stood in front of the mirror in the small chaning space. She looked in the mirror at her reflection. "Wow." she breathed, she'd never thought she'd look so pretty. Her hair was pulled up into a half ponytai, it in sausage curls. The hair hanging down was stragnened and she had bangs that hung partially over her eyes. With her red ribbon on place she walked out of the dressing room, earning catcalls and wolf whistles as she walked towards her band. Inuyasha growled at the men and they shut up and averted their eyes, occasionally sneaking glances. Kagome looked INuyasha over her mouth beginning to drool. He looked sexy with the wide legged black chain pants, his hair was straigntedn and shinning and you could see the eyeliner, it suited him kinda, it curling up in an egyptian way. Inuyasha smirked at her. "You like what you see?" he asked, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Very." she said and leaned up to kiss him. "HEY! NO KISSING!! It took me forever to find the right shade of lip gloss for you, and you better not smear it." came Rin's stern voice. The couple sighed and broke apart. They looked over at Rin who was standing beside Sesshomaru, her arm touching his. Inuyasha raised an eyebrow at his brother. "Do well, and I mean no mistakes." he said coldly. Then he stalked off, Rin's hand in his. "Rin and Sesshy are together? I didn't evebn know he had a heart." Kagome scoffed. "I heard that." came Sesshomaru's voice as they walked away, Kagome turned beet red and averted her attention to her boots.

"Just chill, it's just like performing at Club Okinawa." Sango said to her. "Yeah, but it's in front of thousand of people, plus it's being broadcasted over most of Japan!" she exclaimed. She felt someone grab her hand and she looked over at Inuyasha, his thumb rubbing comforting circles on her hand, calming her. "It'll be ok, you're do great." he said to her, looking in her eyes. Kagome felt all her troubles slip away for a moment as she was swept away in those amber eyes. She leaned over and kissed him. "NO KISSING!" came Rin's voice from a table nearby, talking to some other satge managing people. They broke apart laughing. "You hentai! Can't you NOT be a perv for moment of the day?" sheriked Sango as she slapped him. Kagome laughed, her stomach no longer jumping from nerves. "We're about to perform in front of millions-no trillions, not even that but BILLONS of people and now you choose all moments to be a perv instead of serious. Hello this is our debuet here!" she said crossing her arms, her eyes livid. Kagome moaned and layed her head on Inuyasha's shoudler. "You hear that Yash, billions of people." she said making Inuyasha chuckled rubbing her hand.
Soon they were ushered by stage managers to the darkened stage. Kagome's heart beat began to beat rapidly, then she took a deep breath and felt the calm rush over her, like it did before every show. She heard Miroku's sticks beat together counting the beat. Kagome tapped her foot as the beat started up her band mates playing around her. Her fingers strummed the string of the guitar skillfully and she opened her mouth and sang into the mic. The crowd was beginning to dance a bit.

Kagome looked at her bandmates. she noticed Inuyasha's wore a grin that he couldn't even hide, he high fived with Miroku. Once the crowd had learned they're band name, they were chanting it and screaming encore. She looked towards the edge of the stage and her jaw almost dropped. There stood Nana Kitade, smiling at her and giving her a thumbs up! 'Go for it!' she mouthed to her. Kagome nodded her smile growing wider. "Well, you heard him guys." she said into the mic, signaling for them the play again.
