Chapter summary: Inuyasha does not want to go to Shikon High but his mom forces him to go and guess who he has to board with?

Chapter 1: Meet Kagome

Inu: "There's no way I'm going to transfer to Shikon High. It's a school for rich and spoiled brats!" Inuyasha's family was sitting in the living room.

Sess: "Little brother, that's exactly what you are." Inu got a little mad, but only growled.

Inu: "I'll just pretend I didn't hear that."

Sess: "Whatever."

Mom: "Inuyasha, you are going to Shikon High tomorrow no matter what. You will be boarding at Mrs. Higurashi's hotel. End of discussion."

Inu: "But Mom, what if they find out that I'm a hanyou?"

Mom: "Then don't let them find out. Just wear your hat at all times."

~*~

~The next morning~

Inuyasha groaned as the alarm clock rang. He got up and smashed it to pieces. `Well that's #457.` Suddenly, his mom came in.

Mom: "Inu, hurry up and get dressed. Your train leaves in 10 minutes." Inu got dressed, ate his breakfast, grabbed his suitcases and ran for the station. (A/N: He can't fly because there are too many people around.) He hopped onto the train just as it was about to leave.

Inuyasha slumped in his seat, feeling sorry for himself.

~1 hour later~

The train had finally arrived at Inu's stop. He got off and exited the metro station. Looking around him, he spotted an ice-cream parlor. His stomach grumbled. Inuyasha thought `Oh well, guess the hotel will have to wait.` Inu walked in and stopped at the register. Just then, a boy came out of the bathroom and walked quickly towards the exit. While he was passing Inuyasha, he accidentally bumped into him.

Inu: "Hey, watch where you're going."

The boy: "Sorry." He quickly stepped away from him and towards the exit.

When he was gone, Inu noticed that he had left behind a bracelet `probably fell off when he bumped into me.` Inu looked at the bracelet carefully to find the word "Kagome" carved in the sterling silver. `I'll just give it to him when I see him again. I mean, if I see him again.`

Inu turned around to find the cashier waiting impatiently with her hands on her hips.

Cashier: "You wanna order anything? `Cause if you do, I don't have all day."

Inu: "Sorry, I'll have a chocolate ice cream."

A/N: I'm so sorry I couldn't update sooner. Had too much homework and tests. By the way, the more reviews I get, the faster I'll update. Anyways, on with the story.
