“Sleep with me,” He said.

Kagome was completely dumbfounded. She wanted to slap him, but for some odd reason, couldn't manage to.

“Wh…What? I think I heard you wrong…” Kagome stated, her violet eyes wide open.

(A/n. it's rele getting annoying to say her full eye color name, so I'm calling it violet since its like a dark purply hazelybrowncolor. Not that it matters, it was just bugging me…lol)

“I think you heard me right, love,” Inuyasha said and smirked.

They stared at each other in silence for a few seconds until…

“THE HELL I WILL SLEEP WITH YOU!” Kagome shouted, “I'm a decent schoolgirl, why would I want to be your sex toy?!”

“Shh!” Inuyasha said softly and put a finger to her lips, only for them to be slapped away by Kagome's hand.

“Some repayment! You're taking advantage of me!” Kagome yelled.

“Shutup! You'll wake Sango and Miroku!” Inuyahsa whispered loudly. Kagome growled.

“Then let me wake them up!” said Kagome. Inuyasha sighed as he shut his bedroom door and walked to his bed and sat down. He patted a spot on his bed next to him motioning Kagome to sit by him. Kagome glared at him and sat on Miroku's purple bed instead.

“Listen,” Inuyasha started, “What I wanted to tell you was that I didn't mean…that way… I mean as sleep with me just so you'll be safe.”

Kagome raised and eyebrow. “Safe? What do you mean?” She asked and grabbed one of Miroku's pillows and hugged it.

“From that shithead, Naraku! Duh.”

“What? How would that help me?!”

“I saved you once, didn't I? I could do it again if I wanted to.”
Kagome widened her eyes in disbelief, “Do you want to? Do you really care for me?”

“Why else would I be doing this?” Inuyasha asked. Kagome narrowed her eyes and threw Miroku's pillow that she'd been hugging onto at him.

“Cause…” Kagome said suspiciously.

“Keh! Like I'd ever want to do you! Keep on dreaming, babe.” Inuyasha said and threw the pillow back where it was right on the bed w/o hitting Kagome. Perfect aim.
Kagome rolled her eyes and grumbled “Whatever…” She bit her bottom lip, scrapping some of her light pink lip gloss off.

“And…” Inuyasha said.

Kagome looked at him. “And…?” She asked.

“And Miroku wanted to sleep with Sango. But not like that! Same reason while I'll sleep with you.”

Kagome mouthed `O'. “Since you wouldn't want to do me, vise versa, I'll just sleep in Miroku's bed, and He can sleep on my bed.” Kagome insisted.

“You're sleeping on my bed, the closer to me, the safer.”

“No!”

“Do you want to be raped?”
Kagome shook her head no and said, “But I don't want to be molested by you either! I'm not some giveaway!”

“Honey, Miroku's a molester, I'm not.”

“True…”

“Then sleep with me.”
Kagome scowled and stomped to the door to leave, once she opened it, she heard a loud SLAP! Inuyasha's ears turned to the direction to where the sound came from. He and Kagome looked out the door to find a blushing furious Sango stomping to her room and yelling “NO I WILL NOT SLEEP WITH YOU!”

Man, these two girls have a lot in common… bad temper…
Inuyasha thought as he watched Miroku chase after Sango into her room with a red hand print on his right cheek.

“Sango, my dear! I didn't mean it that way! Beside's, you have to repay me!” He said.

That's all that Kagome and Inuyasha heard until Sango's bedroom door slammed shut with Miroku inside.

“He probably explaining to her what I'm trying to explain with you now.” Inuyasha noted to Kagome. Kagome sighed.

“Fine, I'll sleep near you. And by knowing Sango, I know she'll convince Miroku to sleep on my bed away from her.” Inuyasha shrugged, knowing he couldn't get more from stubborn Kagome.

“Whatever, but you're taking a risk by sleeping next to a window on Miroku's bed.”

“There's a window next to my bed, nothing ever happened to me. And with Miroku sleeping on it, it'll make it harder for Naraku to reach Sango… I hope.”

“Worry about yourself,” Inuyasha said, “Miroku's there for her, like I'm here for you.” Kagome smiled.

“Get some sleep.” He commanded as he tucked Kagome in bed. She watched him walk away into his peach bed. She felt a tinge of guilt in her mood.

“Sorry,” She managed to squeak out.

“Huh?” Inuyasha looked confused.

“For snapping at you like that earlier, you were only worried about me.” For some odd reason... Kagome added to her thoughts as she nuzzled in comforts.

“Keh! I was only worried about my ears. I hate it when you scream and cry.”

“Oh, well sweet dreams then, Inuyasha.”

“Yeah yeah, sweet dreams.” Inuyasha grumbled.

From all the silence, Kagome guessed that Sango agreed to her `repayment'. She yawned and fell in slumber.
***************************
“I don't care what you do, just get her away from my boyfriend!” Ayame yelled.

“Calm down, I'll do something.” Naraku said.

“You better!”

“Listen, I'm not doing this on your command! I'm doing this on my will, bitch!” Naraku yelled. It made an echo inside his dark bedroom. Ayame backed away in fear. Naraku was on his chair next to his office-type desk with Ayame sitting across from him on his guest seat.

“I'm Kagome's boyfriend and I will not allow her cheating with me with your dumbass lover, ok!?” Naraku said and lied about being Kagome's boyfriend. Ayame nodded and cowered.

“Now leave, and I promise I won't hurt my Kagome or your precious Wolf.”
Ayame quickly left w/o a word. She shut the door behind her.
Man, what a creep! And Kagome's dating him!? Well I have to admit, the make a cute couple!
*******************
Kagome woke up suddenly.

“I can't go to sleep…” Kagome said softly to herself. She looked over to her drawing on the small table with the lamp next to it. Kagome slid out of bed and picked up a pencil and her drawing. There was another piece of paper under it. She began sketching until she heard a knock on the large window.

Kagome walked over to it, pencil and paper still in her hands. She opened up the window and looked out and saw… Nothing.

Hmmm…that's strange…
Kagome thought and shrugged it off. She looked over to the beach and started drawing.
Kagome thought writing a poem on the back of her sketch. Her poem was titled `I Am', it was about how she was who she was and no one else.

I AM
I AM! yet what I am none cares or knows,
My friends forsake me like a memory lost;
I am the self-consumer of my woes,
They rise and vanish, an oblivious host,
Like shades in love and death's oblivion lost;

And yet I am! and live with shadows tost
Into the nothingness of scorn and noise,
Into the living sea of waking dreams,
Where there is neither sense of life nor joys,
But the vast shipwreck of my life's esteems;
And e'en the dearest--that I loved the best--
Are strange--nay, rather stranger than the rest.

I long for scenes where man has never trod;
A place where woman never smil'd or wept;
There to abide with my creator, God,
And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept:
Untroubling and untroubled where I lie;
The grass below--above the vaulted sky.

(This Poem is by John Clare, I DO NOT OWN IT!)

Kagome finished it, proud of her work. She placed the paper on her bed and walked back to the window. Her second paper was still blank.

She didn't know why, but Kagome hated blank pieces of paper. She wanted them to be filled with ideas, writings and drawings. Cause whatever is on a paper, is based on someone's thoughts. It's not just something to write on, it's something that someone can express their feelings, like in a letter or a card.

Kagome sighed and leaned against the partially opened window, wondering what she should right about. If it wasn't for the closed half of the large window, Kagome could have fallen out.

So far the paper was blank. She tapped the pencil against her chin. Kagome felt something touch her, she was about to scream if it wasn't for the knife held against her throat in a threatening matter.

“Quiet!” Naraku whispered. He pulled out a gag to wrap around Kagome mouth. As he was tying it around her mouth, Kagome quickly wrote down `In the Past and Scared' on the blank piece of paper.

That was all she could write before Naraku tied her hands together with a cloth and threw her over his shoulder and climbed out the window. Kagome threw the pieces of paper back in the window, hoping Inuyasha would find them.

Naraku slid down a pole connected on the building.

How the fuck can he do this?! Kagome thought. She was too busy getting worried though too come up for answer to why. Naraku landed on a balcony and climbed down it.
Kagome was scared. Inuyasha wasn't here yet.

Naraku and Kagome reached Naraku's black car. Kagome winced. It was really dark, no one could see her being kidnapped!
As she was forced in the car, Kagome noticed she wasn't alone, Sango was there too!?

Kagome widened her eyes and scooted to Sango in the backseat. They couldn't say a word to each other because of the gags. Sango's dark eyes were tearful. They both looked over the Shikon School as the car started driving away. In no time, it was out of sight…
