Chapter 17
Lunch, more bonding, home ec once again, P.E. and guy time.
I reached Bankotsu's locker a minute before he walked out of his class.
Bankotsu and I smiled at each other.
He opened his locker, put his stuff away then relocked his locker.
He pulled me into a fierce hug and captured my mouth in a hot and demanding kiss.
After a minute we broke the kiss.
He said, "I missed you! Did you miss me?"
I answered, "Hell ya I missed you!"
He laughed and we walked off hand in hand to the cafeteria.
We got our food and payed for it, then went over to join Inuyasha and the others at our usual table.
Inuyasha looked at Bankotsu and asked ,"So, what movie are you two gonna see tonight?"
I answered, "A comedy, but not sure which one yet."
Bankotsu smiled and said proudly, "My girl wants a comedy, so a comedy it is!"
I smiled.
We all chatted about the different movies and such as we ate.
After we deposed of our trays and sat back down, Bankotsu pulled me onto his lap again and grinned.
I smiled and leaned against his chest.
Inuyasha informed us seriously, "I still think you two are moving kinda fast, but I have to admit I have NEVER seen Cathy this happy before!" with happiness shinning in his eyes.
I smiled.
Inuyasha continued, "Just make sure it stays that way Bankotsu!" looking him dead in the eye.
Bankotsu smirked and declared, "I have EVERY intention of keeping my girl happy!" holding his gaze
I smiled even wider.
Bankotsu said deadly seriously, "Don't worry Inuyasha, your cousin is safe with me!"
Inuyasha nodded and mentioned deadly seriously, "Good!"
Bankotsu and I stood up then walked outside and decided to go sit under the tree again.
Bankotsu sat with his back against the tree and pulled me into his lap, then wrapped his arms around my waist.
I gladly sat in his lap with my arms around his neck.
Bankotsu asked, "Any plans for Sunday?"
I smiled and answered, "Nope! Sundays are always my day to just kick back and get away from it all."
Bankotsu asked, "Do you want to spend the day just the two of us Sunday?"
I smiled and answered happily, "Sure!"
Bankotsu smiled, nodded and stated dead seriously, "Good, Sunday we can spend the day just getting to know each other better. I know about your past, but I realize you hardly know about mine. So Sunday will be for just the two of us and we can get to know each other better."
I smiled and replied happily, "That sounds like a wonderful idea to me!"
We hugged each other smiling.
He asked, "So any questions about me or anything?"
I answered, "Well I already know you are protective, strong, sexy, sweet, caring, and have two brothers. And you have a healthy appetite."
He grinned and nodded.
I questioned, "What about your past relationships?"
He stared me dead in the eye and answered seriously, "I won't lie to you Cathy! I have had my share of relationships, but I have NEVER felt like this before! With you I am happy just spending time and talking to or holding you! My past relationships were okay, but mainly they were about mutual satisfaction and sex, or proving my "manliness"! With you baby I want to just hold you, I want to know all about you! I want to just look at you and know your are mine! Sex would only be a bonus! And only WHEN you are ready! Until then I am happy just knowing you are mine and I am yours, and holding, and kissing you!"
I smiled, kissed him, then holding his gaze stated dead seriously, "Ban, you are the most understanding and considerate guy I have EVER met! I am so glad you are my boyfriend! I promise when I am ready, I will let you know! I am so grateful that you are such an incredible guy! Thank you!"
He declared dead seriously, "For you Cathy, I would do ANYTHING! Whatever it takes to make and keep you happy babe!"
I grinned.
Then I kissed him fiercely and he kissed me just as fiercely.
After a few minutes we broke the kiss, stood up, and walked back inside the cafeteria.
We rejoined Inuyasha and the others at the table.
Bankotsu once again pulled me onto his lap and hugged my waist with one arm.
Bankotsu then settled his chin on my shoulder with our cheeks touching.
Kagome, Rin, Ayame, Sango, and Kouga all smiled at us and I smiled back.
Inuyasha raised a brow questioningly at us.
Bankotsu and I smiled at him.
Kagome elbowed Inuyasha in the side and looked at him.
A few minutes later the bell rang and Bankotsu and I walked over to home ec.
Home EC once again.
We walked in smiling and holding hands then took our seats.
A minute later the bell rang.
Mrs. Shima announced, "Today we are going to try something a little different! We are going to pair up in group of three only, and make sugar cookies."
Bankotsu, Ginta, and I paired up.
I greeted, "Hey Ginta."
Ginta said, "Hey Cathy."
I introduced, "This my boyfriend Bankotsu."
Ginta stated, "Hey Bankotsu, nice to meet you! Kouga, and Hakaku have told me a lot about you!"
Bankotsu replied, "Nice to meet you too, Ginta."
Then I pulled out the mixer, mixing bowel, and cookie sheet.
Bankotsu greased the cookie sheet.
Ginta mixed the ingredients and I placed the batter on the cookie sheet.
Bankotsu set the timer and Ginta put the cookies in the oven.
The three of us sat together and talked while the cookies baked.
Ginta queried, "So I heard you are both coming by tomorrow?"
I answered, "Yup, and after wards I am gonna show Ban around a bit and make him and his brothers dinner."
Ginta grinned wolfishly and declared, "You're lucky man! Kouga never shuts up about her cooking and I gotta admit she is damn good at it!"
I smiled, and explained, "When Kouga and I were dating, I would cook for the family and bring over cookies and such every once in a while."
Bankotsu nodded.
Bankotsu retorted, "Yeah, I have heard all about her cooking! Her baking is excellent! So I can't wait to taste her home cooking!"
I blushed.
I said, "Ginta and Hakaku are brothers."
Ginta nodded and added proudly, "Kouga is our cousin, and will one day become head of the family!" admiration for his cousin clear in his eyes.
Bankotsu and I nodded.
The timer went off and I stood up.
I then walked over to the oven and pulled on the oven mitts, took out the cookies and set them on a cooling rack.
Then we all three did the dishes together.
Mrs. Shima walked over and sampled a cookie and said, "Once again a job well done!"
We all nodded.
Then we split up the cookies evenly.
We sat back down, ate our cookies, and talked some more.
Bankotsu stated seriously "I know everyone thinks we are moving to fast, but Cathy and I are happy! I wish people would just mind their own damn business!" staring Ginta dead in the eye.
Ginta smiled and informed him while holding his gaze, "I have to tell you man Cathy is like a sister to me! And I honestly have NEVER seen her this happy before! Not even when she and Kouga dated! Bankotsu, it's obvious you two are crazy about each other! I know Cathy quite well and I trust her judgment! Ignore what everyone else says and thinks! All the matters is you two's feelings for each other and your opinions!"
Bankotsu grinned and agreed, "Thanks man! And you are quite right! All that matters is our feelings and opinions!"
I grinned and placed my head on his shoulder.
A few minutes later the bell rang and Bankotsu and I walked to the gym.
P.E. and Guy time.
We walked in smiling and holding hands, just as the bell rang.
We walked into the locker rooms and changed into our gym clothes.
We met up in the gym over by the wall again.
A minute later Ayame and Kouga walked over.
A minute later Mr. P. said "5 laps today!" and blew his whistle.
Everyone took off and 30-35 minutes later Kouga, Ayame, Bankotsu, and I had finished our laps.
Ayame and I went to get a drink of water together.
We got our drinks and stood there talking a few minutes.
I looked at her and informed her dead seriously, "Ayame, I just want you to know, even when Kouga and I were dating; I never saw him as happy as he is with you now!"
Ayame's face brightened and her eyes lit up then she replied seriously, "Thanks Cathy! It means a lot coming from you!"
I smiled, hugged her and suggested, "I hope you and I can become close friends!"
Ayame hugged me back and answered, "I'd like that very much!"
I nodded and we broke the hug and walked back outside arm in arm.
With the guys at the same time.
Kouga faced Bankotsu and informed him, "I have to say man, Cathy has never been happier then she is right now! You have definitely brought back the real Cathy!"
Bankotsu raised a brow questioningly and Kouga explained, "After Yuske, she shut herself off from almost everyone! Including me, and Inuyasha for the most part, and that really hurt!"
Kouga slapped Bankotsu on the back and mentioned, "Thanks for bringing her back man!"
Bankotsu smiled then became concerned and confessed, "I have to admit I am worried I will screw this up! She is such a great gal! She is way to good for me!"
Kouga laughed and encouraged dead seriously, "Don't be so harsh on yourself man! NO ONE that has tried to date her has EVER succeeded in getting Sesshomaru's approval, let alone Inuyasha's, and mine! You have managed to get ALL 3! That's a impressive task in itself!"
Bankotsu smiled, nodded and said, "Thanks man!"
Kouga nodded.
A minute later Ayame and I walked over to the guys.
I asked, "What's up?"
Kouga answered smirking, "Just a little guy time is all!"
I smiled.
Kouga noticed Ayame and I arm in arm and raised a brow questioningly.
Ayame and I laughed and Ayame explained, "We had a little girl time too."
I stated, "Ayame and I hope to become close friends!"
Ayame grinned and nodded.
Kouga grinned, picked Ayame up, and twirled her around happily while she squealed.
I walked over to Bankotsu and put my arms around his waist.
He put his arms around my waist and we just stood there holding each other a few minutes.
Kouga and Ayame walked back over and the four of us walked into the locker rooms, showered, changed, then met up back in the gym over by the wall.
Ayame looked me dead in the eye and stated seriously, "I have to admit, for a while there I was jealous of you and Kouga! I understand now that you two will always hold a special place in your hearts for each other! I am glad I know you now though! I can easily see why Kouga still feels the way he does about you! You are such a kind lovable person!"
I smiled and replied, "Thanks Ayame! Kouga was my first love! You are correct, part of me will always love him, but only as a best friend! I am glad I know you now too! It's obvious you and Kouga are meant for each other! I am so glad he has found someone who loves and accepts him for who he really is! Your a great person Ayame!" holding her gaze.
We hugged each other and the guys walked up, laughing heartily together.
The bell rang and Bankotsu and I walked over to my locker.
