Chapter 39:



Next morning


I woke up to Bankotsu kissing my neck and trailing his fingers along my ribs.

I sighed, brought his mouth to mine and kissed him fiercely.

Bankotsu returned the kiss and they made love.

Afterwards Bankotsu said "We better get going soon."

I noded and we showered, dressed and set out.

We met Sasha at her office.

Sasha said "Morning you two. Okay looks like everything is in order! I need you two to sign the land deed and you will be ready to go."

I signed after Bankotsu.

Sasha smiled and said "Ok, congrats you two and you are good to go."

I noded and called Sesshomaru.

Cathy "Hey Sesshu, we have the deed now."

Sesshomaru "Okay Cathy, lemme call him."

A few minutes later I answered my phone.

Sesshomaru "Hey Cathy, Daru said to have you meet him at our place noon for lunch today."

Cathy "Thanks Sesshu, we will be there!"

I hung up my phone, looked at Bankotsu and said "We are to meet him at Sesshu's at noon for lunch and stuff."

Bankotsu noded and said "So what now?"

I said "Now we head back to your place and inform your brothers about dinner."

Bankotsu smiled and noded, then we drove back to his place.

At Bankotsu's place.


We went inside and locked the door.

Jakotsu came out of his room and yawned.

Jakotsu said "Morning Bankotsu, Cathy."

Bankotsu said "Morning Ja."

I said "Good morning Ja."

Suikotsu walked into the living room and said "Morning all."

Bankotsu said "You two are supposed to meet us at Cathy's place for dinner tonight ok."

Suikotsu asked "What time?"

I said "About 6pm ok."

Suikotsu noded and said "We will be there."

I smiled.

Bankotsu said "I left the directions to her place on the table in the kitchen."

Then we drove off again.

Bankotsu said "So what do you want to do now?"

I said "We have a couple hours before we gotta meet at Sesshu's, maybe we should go do the grocery shopping now."

Bankotsu noded and drove to the grocery store.

At the grocery store.

I said "Okay, we need the food and all for tonight. Anything else you can think of?"

Bankotsu said "Yeah, Shampoo, conditioner and condoms."

Bankotsu suggestivly raised his eye brows.

I smiled and noded.

We got a cart and started with the Shampoo, conditioner, and condoms.

Then we went to the aisle with the BBQ sauce and got 2 bottles of honey/hickory.

We went to the meat aisle and got 3 lbs of hamburger meat.

We went to the fresh vegitables and got a bushel of corn on the cob.

We got the butter and potatoes.

Then the bread and went to the check out stand.

I said "Anything else we still need Ban?"

He grinned and captured my mouth in a quick but thorough kiss which I eagerly returned.

He broke the kiss, grinned and said "Nope."

I smiled and we checked out.

Bankotsu pulled out his wallett and payed.

I rolled my eyes and he smirked.

We took our groceries and put them in his trunk.

They were just getting into ther car when Sango yelled "Hey CATHY!"

I got back out and said "Hey Sango! What's up?"

Sango said "Not much, shopping huh?"

I said "Yeah, we just bought everything I will need for dinner tonight, Ban's brothers are coming over to meet every and all.Oh that reminds me, The mating ceremony was changed to this friday at noon k."

Sango noded and said "Okay."

I said "Tell Miroku we said hey ok."

Sango noded and said "Will do!"

Bankotsu said "We gotta get this stuff home, see ya Sango."

Sango said "Bye Bankotsu."

Bankotsu drove us over to Sesshomaru's place.

At Sesshomaru's place.


Bankotsu and I carried in and put away the groceries.

I ran up stairs and put the condoms, shampoo, and conditioner away.

Then I ran back downstairs and hugged Bankotsu.

I was about to watch a movie when my cellphone rang.

Cathy "Hello?"

Heiten "Hey baby!"

Cathy "How the HELL did you get my number!?"

Heiten "I have my ways babe! But this time it was your tutoring buddy Hojo."

I grolwed angrily.

Cathy "What the HELL do you want!?"

Heiten "What I have ALWAYS wanted sweet heart! YOU!"

Cathy "No way in hell that will EVER happen!"

I slammed my cell phone shut and growled "That bastard!"

Bankotsu said "Who was it?"

I said angrily "Heiten!"

I replaced my cell on her hip and said "After we finish business today we need to go pay Hojo a visit!"

Bankotsu raised a brow.

I sighed and said angrily "Hojo gave him my number!"

Bankotsu's eyes narrowed and his fists clenched.

I said "And you can bet if Heiten has it so does Naraku!"

Bankotsu growled angrily.

I said "Which means if those morons have enough resources they could now track my every damn move thru this phone!"

Bankotsu said "Leave your phone here, we can just use mine for now, also while we are out we will get your a new phone!"

I said "Alright but I have to explain to Sesshu why."

Bankotsu noded and said "Lets go tell him now then."

I noded.

I lead the way to the office and knocked on the door.

Sesshomaru said "Come in."

I walked in followed by Bankotsu.

I said "Sesshu I just wanted to tell you why I will be leaving my cellphone here. Heiten just called me on it."

Bankotsu said "I will buy her a new one while we are out this afternoon."

Sesshomaru noded and asked "How did he get it?"

I said "According to him Hojo gave it to him."

Sesshomaru growled.

Bankotsu said "We will be paying that little shit a visit this afternoon as well!"

Sesshomaru noded.

Bankotsu quickly wrote down his cell number and gave it to Sesshomaru and said "If you need to reach her, call my cell."

Sesshomaru noded and took the paper.

I said "I wanted you to know why, because you always have me taking it with me and all."

Sesshomaru said "For your protection."

I smiled and said "I know."

Sesshomaru said "Now get ready, Daru will be here in a few minutes."

We noded and went to wait in the living room.

A few minutes later the bell rang and Rin opened the door.

Rin said "You must be Daru."

Daru noded and said "You must be Rin, Sesshomaru told me about you!"

Sesshomaru walked up and said "Let us go to the kitchen."

The trio entered the kitchen and walked over to Bankotsu and me.

Daru said "Judging by your beauty and demeanor you must be Cathy."

I blushed and noded.

Daru said "You must be Bankotsu, pleasure meeting you both."

Bankotsu noded and said "Likewise."

Sesshomaru said "Lets sit and discuss business."

Everyone sat at the table.

Daru took out a note book and said "Tell me what specifications you two want for the house."

Bankotsu said "5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, A big kitchen with dual ovens and lots of cabinent space, a decent sized living room a big room for the weapons, another for a Dojo, and a two car garage, with an outside pool."

Daru wrote down the notes and asked "Anything else?"

I said "A laundry room."

Daru wrote notes and asked "What kind of floors?"

I said "Wood in the kitchen and dining rooms, the others cement."

Daru asked "Basement, attic or both?"

Bankotsu said "Basement, no attic."

Daru noded and asked "Want it set up for central air and heat?"

I noded and said "Yes please."

Daru noded and asked "What kind of land are we gonna be building on?"

Bankotsu said "Lush ripe land, with hills but the location for the house is flat."

Daru noded and said "Okay, when do you want to go get the permits?"

I said "Whenever we can."

Daru noded and said "How about after lunch you two follow me over and we can get the permits and such then."

Bankotsu noded and said "Good. How long do you think it will take to complete?"

Daru said "I have to have an architect draw up some blue prints which usually takes 2-3 days, then after you approve them and I have to order the supplies and such, takes another 2 days, and a week minimum to build it. So around two weeks."

Bankotsu noded and said "Excellent!"

Daru asked "Do you want tiles and such put down?"

I noded and said "White in the bathrooms and laundry room."

Bankotsu said "Leave the other floors uncovered for now, we will do that after the house is completed."

Daru noded.

Bankotsu said "Know this, I want the absolute best of all materials and the outside is to be brick."

Daru said "That will cost more."

Bankotsu said "I can cover it! Nothing but the best for me and my wife!"

Daru noded and said "Alright!"

Sesshomaru said "You know the foundation has to be sound Daru same as this one!"

Daru smiled and said "For you old friend ANYTHING!"

Sesshomaru noded and said "You will be well paid!"

Daru grinned and noded.

Bankotsu said "After the ceremony I am taking Cathy away for our honeymoon! Sesshomaru would you watch over the building and such and assure it is done the correct way?"

Sesshomaru noded.

Bankotsu smiled and said "Thank you!"

Sesshomaru asked "Where are you two going?"

Bankotsu smirked and said "That is a surprise even for Cathy."

Sesshomaru said "Call once you have arrived so I know you are safe!"

Bankotsu noded and promised to call.

Rin announced lunch was ready and everyone ate.

Afterwards Daru, myself and Bankotsu went to get the permits.

At city hall


Daru lead the way to the permits office and Cathy and Bankotsu followed.

Daru said "Hey Marg."

Marg said "Daru what a pleasent surprise!"

Daru said "This couple here needs permits so I can build thier new house for them."

Marg asked "Do they have the land deed?"

Bankotsu noded and showed her the deed.

She looked it over and said "Okay Daru what exactly do you need?"

Daru said "Permits for building the house, garage and pool."

Marg noded and filled out all the paperwork and quoted the price.

Bankotsu pulled out his wallett and paid for the needed permits.

Marge said "I need to have all three of you sign these papers."

All three of us signed and Marg handed over the permits, and the reciept.

Daru said "See ya Marg."

Marg said "Bye Daru."

Daru, Bankotsu and I all talked a few more minutes and agreed to meet again once Daru had the blue prints.

Bankotsu gave Daru his cell number to contact them with.

Bankotsu and I went to the shop and bought me a new flip-phone, the accesories, and started the service immediately.

I said "Now to Hojo's."

Bankotsu noded and drove over to Hojo's following my directions.

At Hojo's place.


Me and Bankotsu got out and knocked on the door.

Angie answered the door.

Angie said "Hey Cathy."

I said "Hello Ange, where is your brother?"

Angie hollered for Hojo and he came to the door.

Hojo said "Oh hey Cathy, come on in you two."

Bankotsu and I entered.

Hojo closed and locked the door and told Angie to go play in the back yard.

Angie noded and played outside.

I said "I assume you know why I am here."

Hojo sighed heavily and said "Heiten called you."

I said "HOW could you give that asshole my cell number!?"

Hojo said "He threatened to hurt Angie if I didn't."

I said "He threatened you?"

Hojo said "Not me, Angie!"

I sighed and said "I know how important you sister is to you! BUT still you shouldnt have givin that creep my number!"

Hojo grew angry and said "What was I supposed to do!? Let those fucking creeps rape Angie!?"

I said angrily "Of course NOT idiot! But now those fuckers have a way to track me EVERY movement!"

Hojo paled and said "I....I didn't know that....I didnt even think about that! Cathy I am sorry!"

I said "I know that! DAMNIT HOJO! Use your brain next time! Your supposed to be the smart one!"

Bankotsu grabbed Hojo by the shirt collar and said "Lucky for you Cathy realized it as soon as she hung up with the prick and told me! If they had tracked her down and hurt her, I would have hospitalized your ass myself!"

Then Bankotsu dropped Hojo.

I calmed down and hugged Bankotsu who hugged her back.

I said "Hojo I warned you what those jerks were like! For you and Angie's own good STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM US!"

Then Bankotsu and I left.
