Shippo reached the mountain by dusk. Lightning had flashed and thunder rolled as he made his was up the rocky mountain path. He suddenly recalled his youth days, back when he was afraid of a lot of things.
He chuckled to himself. ‘Heh, I remember when I first received the message to fight her; and I thought Soten was a boy back then.’
A small pat of water touched his nose. He looked up at the dark sky to see small bits of rain starting to fall, like tears falling from one’s eyes. Once again, he sighed, and pull over his head a cloak to keep himself dry. Didn’t really make a difference though. The wind was blowing into his face, as was the rain. Continuing, he trudged up the mountain path, stumbling every here and there.
It wasn’t until the rain was REALLY coming down did he make it to the top of the mountain. There, he saw the house-like dwelling the thunder sister Soten lived in. He walked on up to the front entrance of the place. He made a quick look around the area. His memories came back to him, reminding him of the time they sorta ‘fought’ one another. He chuckled again. ‘Who won that fight? If we hadn’t stopped, that is.’
He lifted his arm and knocked on the door. A sudden fear came over him. ‘Would she like to see him again? Would she be angry? Will she even remember him?!’
His thoughts were shattered when a small light creaked through the openings of the door. ‘Was she sleeping?’
The door opened and there stood a girl, probably 18, looking at him. She tilted her head, wondering who this cloaked man was, and what he was doing here. Shippo caught her scent of confusion, and pulled off the hood that was upon his head. It took her a bit, but once again, his eyes gave it away.
“Sh-Shippo?” she asked, wondering if she was right. He gave a nod, giving a soft smile.
“Hello Soten.” he greeted her.
Her eyes shot wide as she stared at him. She lunged forward and gripped him in a huge embrace. His cheeks turned red as she held him.
“Its been so long! How are you?!” she gave a huge smile to him.
“Wet and cold,” he answered, still outside her door. It was raining buckets now, and she had just realized it.
“Oh my god! Come in!” She yanked him from the arm, pulling him inside. She shut the door behind them, shutting the raindrop’s noise from outside.
Her home, or mansion for that matter, was still beautiful as he remembered it.
‘He looks so much older!’ She thought to herself. ‘And he looks really… really…’
Her thoughts were gone when she noticed him shivering slightly, but he paid no attention to it, as he still looked around her home. She gave a soft smile.
“Wanna take a hot spring bath to get warmed up?” She asked him.
The thought of a warm spring sounded relaxing… and refreshing.
“If you don’t mind,” he said with a blush.
“Not at all; Follow me,” She ordered him, turning and walking towards another room. As he followed behind her, he couldn’t help but to check out her rear end. He instantly turned a dark red, thinking to himself, “Wow, she looks so hot… GAH! What am I thinking here?! She’d kill me if she knew I thought of that!”
She led him what seemed to be downstairs to a dark cavern area. It was very humid, with the rain pounding at the rock wall surrounding them. As he looked down, he saw steam rising from a small lake of water. It was an underground hot spring!
