Shippou's Wish
Prolouge
Notes: My first Inu-Yasha fic, so, hang in there with me. I'm not telling the pairings because it would ruin the story! XD

The gang was on their way to get the last of the jewel shards, so that Inu Yasha could finally become human to be with Kagome. Their journey would finally come to an end, and the party would most likely disperse.
Everyone was dreading that day, but dealing with it in their own way. Kagome was sulking and being anti-social, Miroku was staring at Sango waiting for her to run up to him, throw her arms around his neck and enjoy and deep passionate kiss, and Sango was dreading what Miroku was thinking. Inu-Yasha was walking silently with his arms in his coat. Shippou wasnt having any problems, because he beleived that they wouldnt go their own ways, and that they would remain best friends forever.
The little kitsune boy was walking by Kilala and petting her on the head. The little fox smiled and purred at Shippou happily. This made the boy wonder if Kilala would like him if she were not an animal...
"Hey! Inu-Yasha! Can I ask you a question?" Shippou said, running up in front of the silver haired demon. "Sure, but make it quick." Shippou hopped up on Inu Yasha's shoulder and whispered something in his ear.
"WHAT?! Use the Shikon Jewel to turn Kilala into a human?! NO WAY!"
This caused Kagome to skid to a stop on her bike, and turn around to face Inu Yasha. "Hey! That's a great idea! We've all gotten something out of this trip except for Shippou and Kilala! This can be our way of thanking them for coming with us!"
Inu Yasha yelled back," We're not letting that runt use our Shikon Jewel Shards to make his wish!"
"Sit boy."
Inu Yasha's face was planted into the ground at that instant.
"Now, Shippou.." Kaogme said softly ,"do you really want to make Kilala human? We dont even know if it's ok with Sango..."
The black haired teen turned to the taiji and asked "Is it alright?" "Well...Kilala is my companion...but, if it's only for a short time, I dont suppose it would hurt." Sango said, smiling at Kagome and Shippou.
"Now wait a minute!" Inu Yasha said, standing up to protest.
"Sit boy..." Kagome said, rolling her eyes.
"Ah!" the silver haired one said, his mouth full of dirt.
"Well, as soon as we find the jewel shards, we'll turn Kilala into a human for one week.Ok Shippou?" Kagome said, petting Kilala.
"Alright!" the little kitsune said, picking Kilala up and huggin her.
