Kagome was rotating with everyone now. First she went to English, which she didn't do with the rest of the class because she had her online English course. One day she was sitting at the computer and next to her was Inuyasha. The rest of the class was sitting at a round table near the back of the classroom. From where they all were sitting, they couldn't see anything but Kagome's face.
Inuyasha was working on a poem. He had already finished what the rest of the class was working on.

Kagome could see Inuyasha's screen fully and got an idea. She opened up a word document and typed, `Hey Inuyasha!' She looked over at him then back to her screen.

Inuyasha saw what she was doing and also opened up a word document. `You silly covert wench.'

Kagome didn't know what to make of the insult and just assumed that he was joking. `So anything you want to talk about?'

`Not really, but there is something I want you to do…'

`What's that?'

`Polly's lonely. You should make him feel better.'

Kagome knew what Polly was. It was the name Inuyasha had given himself, well, a certain part of himself. So Inuyasha expected her to do stuff. She decided she had to prove that having a girl at hand was better than having two online. Biting her lower lip she nodded.

`I'll do it.'

Inuyasha looked around and unzipped his pants. Pulling Polly out, he looked at Kagome and nodded towards Polly.

Kagome sighed and reached her hand over to grasp him. It was actually her first time seeing a man or teenage boy, in this case, and it was rather weird for her. She knew basically what to do, having read a few risqué stories online. She alternated between gently stroking it and squeezing. Five minutes before it was time to clean up, Kagome stopped and retracted her hand.

Inuyasha put himself away and licked his lips.

`That was nice. Though I usually do a better job myself.' He then closed out of Word and logged off the computer.

Kagome did the same, but with a bit of attitude. How could he just say he does a better job? Maybe she should tell him just to do it for himself from now on. Then again, she would never really say that to him. She knew it.

Nothing else happened that day. On the bus ride home she told Miroku about what went on during English. She also told him about what Inuyasha had said about it.

“Don't worry about it.” Miroku reassured her, “He's just a jackass.”

“I guess but I really like him. I can't figure out why.” Kagome nervously fiddled with the drawstring on her hoodie.

“Maybe you're just a masochist. Are you one?” Miroku asked with just a tad too much enthusiasm.

“I guess. But I thought it was just a physical thing, I didn't think it had to do with emotional pain too.”

“Who knows?”

Jan dropped off Miroku and then Kagome. Once inside her house Kagome ran to the phone. She had already memorized Inuyasha's phone number. It was kind of odd seeing as how she had never called him before. But just from looking at the note he had given her over and over, she had it in her head. She dialed Inuyasha's house and waited.

“Hullo,” a sleepy voice answered.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome asked.

“Yep. What do you want? I was sleeping.” His response was short and irritated.

“Just to say hi. And you now next week is Valentine's Day. Do you want anything? Or we could do it like the Japanese. Where the girls give chocolate and stuff and the boys return the favor on White Day.”

“I like that idea. Do it. Now I think I'm going to go play video games.”

“Oh what system do you have?” Kagome asked curiously.

“I have a Play Station and Play Station two. You?”

“I have an X-box and a Game Cube. Plus a bunch of older ones, Nintendo, Super NES, N-64, and Play Station.” Kagome said they were hers, but in reality they belonged to her family.

“You should give me the Game Cube.” Inuyasha said.
“I can't do that!” Protested Kagome.

“Sure you can, it's yours.” Inuyasha pressured Kagome.

“No it's not, it's my family's. That would be stealing.”

“Okay fine. I think I'll go slit my wrists now.”

“Wait what?” Kagome asked, but the line was already dead.

`That jackass! Miroku was right. How could he say that to me?' But then Kagome started to worry. He was saying he was suicidal during some of their talks at school. It made Kagome realize that since she had met Inuyasha she herself hadn't felt suicidal at all. She used to want to die at least once a day, but in the past few months, it seemed like a new ray of light was shining. Granted, it maybe was a black light, but oh well.

Kagome returned the phone to its cradle and went back to her room. She was so confused. Why did Inuyasha make her feel this way? Why did he do this to her?

Sure he was good looking, but Kagome had seen other hot guys before. He wasn't as tall as Kagome usually liked, nor was he as skinny. Maybe it was just because he was the best at the school.

Sitting on her bed Kagome grabbed her head and threw herself into a laying position. All she wanted to do was scream. Scream so loud that it would shake the house. She gulped and sat back up. This time she had to do it. It was too stressful. Everything was messed up. Kagome got off her bed and walked to her desk where her jewelry box sat. On the verge of tears, Kagome opened the jewelry box and pulled out a long silver safety pin.

She pulled up her sleeve and held out her left forearm. The old cuts were gone. Only white shadows remained. Taking a deep breath Kagome whipped her right arm down across her left. Once wasn't enough. Not for this. She raised her arm again. And again. Two dozen cuts later Kagome calmed down. She was fine. It was okay now.

Breathing deeply, Kagome grabbed an alcohol swab and cleaned her superficial scratches. It burned, but she knew she couldn't risk getting an infection.

She pulled her sleeves back down and lay on her bed quietly. Today had been very stressful, to say the least. She had done stuff that hadn't ever before, she had gotten scared and worried for Inuyasha (which he had done on purpose, Kagome thought), and started scratching herself again. It had been at least a few months since she had done it. But Inuyasha brought back those feelings she couldn't control in any other way.

What was he to her?

Bunnie: Oooooh they did more. I'm not sure how much I can have them do and still keep it a teen rating. If anyone thinks this is too much tell me. Only two more weeks until my birthday!

Inuyasha: I made her cut herself?

Bunnie: No you made her feeling go into chaos. And to get a sense of grounding she scratches.

Kagome: Everything is so crazy in my life.

Bunnie: Well I did put this under Angst. So it'll be angst-y.
