InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Short Bus ❯ Intro ( Chapter 1 )

Kagome rolled over again. It was far too early. It must be close to six o'clock. The bus, she shuddered, didn't come until six thirty. She had time. As the alarm went off for the third time Kagome finally pulled herself out of bed. She walked across the room and shut off the clock. Then she pulled on a pair of tight black pants with zippers and buckles everywhere. She had worn them yesterday, but nobody at school would know that. It was the fist day.

 

Her closet was overflowing with clothes, but unfortunately there wasn't much fluctuation in color. Everything was black, grey or some bright neon color, although, there weren't too many of those. She pulled out a black shirt with a Senses Fail logo and put it on.

 

“Crap, you're almost empty,” she said to a bottle of hair gel. Deciding to use it sparingly she poured a half-dollar sized dab into her hard and rubbed her palms together. Her hair was cut short on the top and back with two long pieces behind her ears. She also had long bangs which covered one of her eyes. Spiking up the top and back she looked at her watch. Five minutes left. That was plenty of time. She put on her make-up, which was easy considering she just used eye-liner and mascara.

 

Two minutes left. She wolfed down some scrambled tofu her mother had generously made and ran to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

 

“Honey, the bus is here. It'll only wait for two minutes, and then it leaves.” Her mother called from the kitchen.

 

“I'm comin!” Kagome yelled through the foam in her mouth.

 

She spat out the toothpaste and rinsed her mouth. She had been smart enough to pre-pack her messenger bag the day before. All she had to do was grab it and run out the door, which she did.

 

“Crap, its cold.” Kagome once again used her favorite word. Well one of her favorites. `Mastication' had its perks. As did `Thespian'

 

But there it was. The bus. The short bus. To take her to her alternative school.

Bunnie: Okay this is just an intro. The next chapters will be much longer. I promise ^.^ I just wanted to see if the idea would catch anyone's attention.

 

Added: Disclaimer. Forgot about this then re-read the rules and decided to add one right here. Rumiko Takahashi owns all the characters with Japanese names. The other characters are sort of mine, but their based on people I know. So I don't know how I would claim credit for it…
