Back Out

Kagome came home around 12ish after Sango had had her fun with Miroku. Sango had seen the guy Kagome was with and nearly fainted. He was so damn hot, or that's how Sango put it. Later yesterday night she had described him for Kagome.

"So what did he look like?

"He was on the tall side, but not to tall, he had long white hair pulled back into a low pony tail.

"His body was-", Sango stopped there to shiver.

"That good huh?" Kagome said interested.

"OH YEAH", Sango said loudly.

"Tell me more", Kagome insisted.

"Well, he looked only about 27 or 28, he couldn't be more than that", Sango said.

"But the thing I remember most about him, is his eyes", Sango continued.

"I bet they were something huh?" Kagome said, envious of her friend for seeing him and not her.

"They sure were, they were this honey yellow color, no not yellow. More like golden", Sango said then looked at her friend.

"Golden Eyes", Kagome breathed, as she tried to imagine.

"Inuyasha?" Kagome said into the pillow, tiredly.

"Hey Inuyasha", she said smiling as her blue useless eyes traveled to where she heard a rustling at the foot of her bed.

Inuyasha's head jerked up as he heard his name being called. His head rose as he looked into the sightless eyes of Kagome. They weren't unattractive eyes; they were just a little blue in the middle.

Inuyasha got up and went over to Kagome, who was called him to her side. It was the weekend and she didn't have to get up.

"Hey baby", she said looping an arm around his chest and pulling him to her body.

"I'm sorry I left you at Sango's last night…but I had to get out. Sango's right I need to get laid", Kagome laughed, into his fur coat.

"I met this really, well I can't describe him, but man, did my heart jump. It was like when I first meant Koga. But different at the same time. He was a really good dancer." Kagome said with a small smile, and a chuckle.

By now one could only imagine what the dog beside her was thinking, as a wolfish grin spread across his furry face and he looked up at Kagome, a wistful look in his eyes.

"Oh, well with my luck I'll never see him again", she said with a sigh.

"Well, I'll never see him, but I would like to. I dunnno talk to him some time maybe", she said finally.

"Don't worry Kagome, you'll see him again" Inuyasha thought to himself.

"I didn't even catch his name", Kagome said.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, short and exact. There was only one person with that knock. But why would he be here on her weekend?

She jumped out of bed and headed for the door stumbling over her clothes from last night. Thankfully she had put on pajamas.

"Yes?" she said, panting as she got to the door.

"Kagome we need to go over some very important things. They have to do with Miasma Industries, and they can't wait", Sesshomaru said, already dressed, suitcase in hand.

"Leave your dog", he said, but he really was going to include Inuyasha in his plans.

"Ok, let me get dressed and I'll be right out", she said kind of in shock.

"Good I will wait here", Sesshomaru said, looking at Inuyasha and giving him a come with me sign.

The dog looked at Kagome, who wasn't quit awake, and as silently as possible, because her hearing was excellent, he crept out as she hurriedly shut the door and went to get dressed. She didn't see him of course, and he didn't think she heard him when he went out.

When he was out he glanced up at his brother who was looking at him with an amused look in his eye.

"It's a good look for you Inuyasha", Sesshomaru laughed.

"It's going to be a good look for you when I put a pretty purple ring around your eye", Inuyasha said, as he transformed, wearing the clothes he had on for yesterday.

"Please little brother I have no time for your petty comments, since your back to your former self, I thought perhaps I should include you in the latest business deals. Go to the chopper on the top floor of this building, the second chopper is for you.

Get in, get dressed into more appropriate attire for the meeting, and get all the information you can about this business deal, before you make it to Inu Incorporated. My secretary will deal with, all the info and clothing. Janken knows, and will tell you what you need to know to participate in this business meeting", Sesshomaru said hurriedly, then he pointed to the exiting stairs.

"Go, Kagome and myself will meet you there, as far as you, I will tell her you are a new associate in the company." he continued.

Inuyasha nodded and with his demonic speed, he rushed to the top of the building where, hi chopper was awaiting. What could be going on so big, that Sesshomaru wanted to include him in?

"Ok, I'm ready to go", Kagome said, as she came out the front door in a few moments after he and Inuyasha were done talking.

"Good, uhh, do you need help?" he asked his most trusted advisor, not quite sure how to put it.

"Thanks, but I know how to get to the top floor without Inuyasha", she said walking straight over to where the elevator was, and pushing the button right on the nose.

"Hmm", Sesshomaru grunted somewhat impressed with this human's fortitude.

The elevator climbed its way to the top while it's passengers talked about the secret business plans. What they were attempting with Miasma Co was unheard of, and it all had to be kept under wraps.

But they were not talking about the top-secret business plans, but more of their partners. Naraku, and Kagura of Miasma Corporations, and Miasma Corporations in general.

"So who is this new business partner you spoke of Sesshomaru?" Kagome said getting out of the plane and walking over to Sesshomaru, as he stood on top of Inu Incorporated.

"Me", a smooth voice said from her left.

Kagome whirled in the direction of the voice that was familiar from last night. Her heart leapt in her throat and she could do nothing but nod, as they both followed Sesshomaru into the building where Naraku, and his advisors were waiting.

"I apologize for the wait", Sesshomaru said, through a business facemask, as kagome and Inuyasha entered behind him.

"No trouble at all", Naraku said as he leaned forward from his position, of leaning back, his feet on the table.

"Now, about the proposition a few days ago", Sesshomaru began, irritated at his arrogance.

"Yes, my councilors and myself have decided, that for our efforts, 50% is far too little", Naraku, said with a vague wave to the two woman behind him, one with short black hair, Kagura, and a new one with white hair, Kanna.

"Please elaborate on how you came to that conclusion", Inuyasha said, speaking up.

Inuyasha wore a black Armani suit, with a chic shiny black tie, his hair pulled back, in a black hair band. He had a rough exterior, but when t came right down to it Inuyasha was as smart as he was ruthless, and he had a good business sense.

That, if nothing else is why Sesshomaru invited him to be part of this business once more. And when he wanted to be he was a silver-tongued devil, able to sell a man his own house.

"Certainly, as soon as you will kindly tell me who you are", Naraku said.

"I am a partner in this industry and is due respect", Inuyasha said firmly but not impolitely.

"Right, well we have come to find that our man power and effort are doubled compared to your supplies, materials, and Intel, your Industry contributes", he said simply

"To be completely frank, we want out", Kagura spoke up.

"That is quite enough! You do not have the authority, status, or financial resources to "be frank" with Inu Industries!" Kagome said, now heated.

"I completely agree!" `Inuyasha said, his eyes narrowing at Naraku's shifty movements.

"As for your termination of this contract, than that is acceptable, but what is not expectable is your complete arrogance and lack of professionalism that is deserved to us. You will not be able to exact this mission without our help, and you know it full well", Sesshomaru said coldly, as he got up.

"Now, you will kindly leave and not mention our plans to any one else", Inuyasha said, also standing up.

"You! Escort these-. Escort them out!" Sesshomaru said to Kikyo who was walking down the hall at the time, Sesshomaru had almost blown his top and said something uncharacteristic of himself.

"Fine. But we will find another company that can do what you did for us, and when we do, say goodbye to Inu Industries!" Naraku said as him and his advisors got up and left in a flurry.

When they left, and the three where sitting, quietly mulling over the possibilities, percentages and facts, did they began to speak.

"They wouldn't go to another company would they?" Kagome began.

"Take their threat to heart, they will do exactly just that, but do they have the Intel and resources, that we have?" Inuyasha said thoughtfully.

"No, they don't have the Intel we posses, but they could get the resources, if they told of the mission." Sesshomaru said pensively.

"We must keep this a secret within the company, no one shall speak of it. And none shall know beside, the highest ranking officers", Sesshomaru said, finalizing their meeting.

"Kagome you can borrow the chopper to go home", Sesshomaru said, as they were once again on the chopper landing rooftop.

"Yes", she said as she got in the helicopter.

"Where did that man from the meeting go?" Kagome inquired, her heart still thumping.

"He left in a chopper a little before you", Sesshomaru explained.

"Oh ok, well I'll see you tomorrow morning then Boss", she said, as the chopper toke flight.

The helicopter soared high above the beautiful city below, and even though she couldn't see, it she could only imagine what it was like, to see the sun set upon the tall and graceful buildings, as the chopper, on metal wings floated to her home.

There was only one thing certain in her life, only one sure thing, that wouldn't change. It was the only thing she could on when it came right down to it, and that was her dog.

The greatest love of her life …Inuyasha.
