“I was walking home alone just like you always told me not to do and on my way three men jumped me, I couldn't see their faces they had something covering them. I tried to get away and I did but they still got some hits in.”
Koga looked at her brilliantly, He had taught her well.
“Good girl Kagome. Good girl” He said, it had taken him the four years that they were together but it happened he finally knew that she was broken in, she would do anything for him and say anything to please him.
“I love you, Koga,” she said in meek voice. She looked at him and in her eyes you could see true love burning for the man in front of her. But if you looked closely you could also see hints of pain underneath of all of it.
“I know you do baby” Koga said. He walked over and hugged her. The doctor walked in and asked Koga to leave so he could do the examination and ask her some questions.
“I will be right outside baby” Koga walked out the door and returned to the waiting room.
“Now can you explain to me what happened,” He asked as he looked over the bruises and cuts on her arms and legs.
-Kagome's Point of View-
“ I was walking home by myself and I went to take a short cut down this dark street, as soon as I did I knew it was a bad Idea cause I was by myself. Three guys jumped out of nowhere and I ran I got away but they got some gropes and hits in before I could” I said flawlessly as if that was really what happened.
The doctor looked at me as if he could sense that wasn't the truth. I looked back and of course the next sentence out of his mouth didn't surprise me all that much I had heard it the last time I was in the hospital.
“You know if there Is someone at home hurting you then you can tell me, I can get you some help.” I just looked at him and I think he realized that I wasn't going to budge from what I had already told him.
“Well if you need anything come back to the hospital and ask for Shippo, they will bring you to me ok?”
“Alright” I said to him, that response usually got them off your back and they stopped talking to you about that subject.
“OK well your wounds aren't that severe, you should stay the night though because you got a nice lump on your head and relaxing may be a good idea for the night. You don't need any stitches”
“Well I would prefer to go home I will be able to relax plenty there my boyfriend will make sure of it”
“The choice is yours,” The doctor said before he left the room. Koga came in a few minutes later.
“Are you ready to head home Babe?” He asked me. I nodded my head yes.
-Narrator's Point of view-
Koga and Kagome both got into the BMW that Koga had pulled around to the front of the hospital.
“Are you feeling better Kagome?” he asked using her name instead of calling her one of the various pet names he had come up with for her. He sounded a bit angry with her.
“Yyyes…” she spoke slowly with a bit of a stutter.
“What did I tell you about going to the authorities or someone who would go to the authorities?” His voice was calm and collected.
“I told you Koga, it wasn't my choice I woke up and I was there, I must have passed out, I don't remember I am sorry Koga I really am I didn't mean to” Just as she finished her sentence they arrived at the apartment complex.
“We will finish this when we get to the room,” Koga said as he exited the car and headed into the building.
-Kagome's Point of view-
`Oh god. I wish I had never run tonight…. I should have just stayed' I thought to myself.
I got out of the car and walked up to the front of the apartment complex and went through the large glass doors.
`I am still not used to all this'
Kagome had only moved here last week with her boyfriend Koga, He was in investment at least that's what he told her he did.
-Narrator's Point of view-
She walked gracefully through the marble covered common area of the apartment complex, towards the elevators; Koga was standing there waiting for her. Everyone who saw them would think that they were the perfect couple. He wrapped an arm tenderly around her waist and stepped into the elevator with her. He pushed the 10th floor and the elevator went up to there floor his grip slowly started to tighten around her waist. They finally hit their floor and walked to there room.
Koga unlocked the door and they waked into the room together. Kagome watched the door slowly shut and wished she were on the other side of that door.
“Now Kagome need I remind you why you never go to the hospital.” He said as his as he stripped off his Armani suit jacket.
“Nnnoo…. I told you I was sorry Koga, It wasn't my fault I didn't choose to go to the hospital” Kagome was now backing herself into the bedroom. Koga was slowly coming towards her.
“Please Koga” Kagome whimpered her voice low, she was scared to alert her neighbors; if she did then she would surely be in deep shit.
Koga just kept getting closer to her; She couldn't go any farther she was against the end of the bed now.
“What's wrong Kagome?”
“Koga please it was an accident, I won't run away next time, I promise!” Kagome pleaded with him.
“I prom….” She was cut off by a sharp slap to the face.
She tried to stand up but was pushed back down. She looked up tears slowly starting to fall from her eyes, yet if you looked into them you could still see love for the demon looming in front of her. A large cracking noise broke her down she fell and blacked out.
-Kagome's Point of view-
“Oh god what time is it?” I asked, my head was spinning and I couldn't quite things into focus, I looked over at the clock and after about five minutes of trying to concentrate on it I realized it was 9:00 am and since it was Sunday I didn't have to go to work. I got up and walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror there was a bruise formed under and on the side of my eye and a cut on my lip, my lip was also slightly swelled. I stripped out of my clothing and hopped into the shower.
-Sesshomaru's Point of view-
`I fucking hate this' I picked up another of my large boxes and walked through the doors of my new apartment complex and waked through the elegant common room. I soon reached the elevator and pushed 9, I hated living so high up in these places. I requested a room on the third or second floor but of course no vacancies.
