It was around noon and Kagome still hadn't let go of Inuyasha who was all but gasping for breath as they stayed in their bed all morning. From the time they woke up until now Kagome had him pinned to the bed with a hand absent-mindedly rubbing an ear while listening to the heart beat of her hanyou lover.

The soft rumbling purr emitted from his body made sure she stayed in her spot. Kagome was sure that somewhere in the house Shippo and Souta were eating breakfast - now that Shippo knew how to cook. She also knew about Shippo's sense of smell which meant that he knew Inuyasha was back.

He's back… I hope he doesn't leave again.

Meanwhile Inuyasha had a… fluttery feeling in his stomach. Being this close to Kagome after wanting it for so long was enough to make any man feel over-the-top happy.

Yet there was something… something he couldn't quite put his finger on. A bone chilling feeling. The aura of death hung over his house. He could feel it. He could even see it if he concentrated.

They take who they want… leave no survivors.

Could it be that he had chosen a bad time to come back? The time of the start of a new war? A war of three worlds?

Three worlds… where have I herd that before.

Kagome's hand motions kept it hard for him to concentrate.

A book… I have a book case.

He laid a hand on Kagome's back. "Kagome. I need to get up just for a moment. I will be back." She was reluctant, but let him up as he stepped to the other side of the room. Looking over dusty books. He found one in particular. Almost as if… it called out to him.

He opened it and flipped to a page… he didn't know why that page…

"The war of three worlds will not be fought in space. Nor in some far away land. But in the very city of Tokyo. The fight for peace, life, and a single women."

Inuyasha turned the page to find a ferry tale-like story. It included a picture of a wolf, a dog, some lines - meaning the wind - and a women, in the middle.

"The wolves from the east met with the wind from the west. The leader of the wolves had his eyes on a lovely lady, but the lady had fallen in love with a half demon. A hanyou. The wolf tried so many times to take the women away. The wind blew a fierce storm upon the wolf's army. Nearly wiping them all out. While the wolf and the hanyou battled each other for the women. In the end only one remained. And that was…"

Torn! Inuyasha slammed the book shut. Kagome jumped a little.

"Inuyasha… what's wrong?"

"History is about to repeat itself."

"And will we win agaisned Kagura and her army?!" Koga yelled, rallying his troops. How responded with a loud `yah!' raising their weapons, mostly spears into the air.

"Will we fight with honor and pride?!"

Another yell.

"Will we take what we want when we want it?!"

Another yell came from the crowd in the warehouse.

"Good now head home. We have a war to begin!"

The crowd stormed through the doors and into the night. Only two remained. Koga's personal guards. "I want you to find out as much as you can on this women. He name, her date of birth, I want to know when the hell she brushes her teeth. Do I make myself clear."

"Yes, sir."

"So you believe that this wolf leader will come after me. He'll try to take me from you."

Kagome was cradled in his arms as he told her the story. "Yes. But don't worry Kagome. No wolf will ever get within ten feet of you."

She snuggled a little closer. "I know. I just don't want anything to happen to you."

I didn't tell her about the last part… I don't even know who wins the battle. But I remember my father telling me about how he fought for my mother. The only difference in that story… he was a full demon. That difference could mean life or death.

Inuyasha laid back down on the bed as Kagome laid back down as well, covering herself with the covers.

"Oh, no." Inuyasha said.

"What?"

Just then Shippo and Souta burst through the door and jumped on Inuyasha. Who gasped for air.

"Inuyasha, you're back!" Souta yelled.

"Souta your heavy!" Inuyasha gasped. Kagome only giggled.

Inuyasha suddenly jumped on her pinning her to the bed as the four of the wrestled around and… off the bed.

Inuyasha landed first, followed by Kagome, then Souta and Shippo.

Inuyasha being on the bottom felt a little flat as the last two got off and Kagome just sat there. Shippo and Souta retired from the room when Kagome told them to get washed up as they would go out for ice cream in a little while.

When Inuyasha realized that Kagome wasn't going to get off him willingly. He gave her a warning.

"Kagome if you don't get off me I'm going to have to turn this around."

"Oh really… how so?" Kagome taunted and regretted it when his hand grabbed her wrist flipping her off the floor and onto the bed, him landing on top holding her hands above her head. "Wow." Kagome mused feeling him pressed agaisned her.

Inuyasha only smirked, leaning down to kiss her. Kagome let it all happen as he removed his hands from her wrists. She let hers travel to his ears while his moved to her hips. Kagome wiggled under him until there was a knock at the door and Inuyasha moaned with a roll of the eyes.

"Are we going for ice cream yet?" Kagome giggled. Leaning up to his ear.

"Don't worry. We'll be sure to do this later. Maybe in the music room?"

"Music room, huh? I've missed a lot."

Kagome giggled and kissed him, giving his ear a little tweak before cupping his cheek.

"You - have - no - clue."

She rolled out from under him and gave him a `you-know-what-I-mean' smirk.

Shippo was devouring his ice cream with Souta at a bench a little bit far from where Kagome and Inuyasha were walking. Inuyasha felt slightly at ease in this park. It was more the park itself them the fact it was one of the safest in the area. Kagome had an arm around his waist as they walked through the park together, and for the first time in over a year, Inuyasha let his guard drop. Only for a moment.

He never knew how big of a mistake that was.

The two guards Koga had sent show from some bushes. One hitting Inuyasha on the head while the other grabbed a screaming Kagome. Before going unconscious from the blow Inuyasha's last thought was Kagome.

"So… I ask you to watch a women and instead you bring her to me?"

"Yes, my lord." Said one of the guards. He seemed afraid as he held Kagome still.

"Good job." The guard was stunned. Never before had Koga said that to him.

He bowed down and let Kagome go. The second guard did the same and Kagome stood still. Staring at Koga.

"Don't be so afraid. I'm only going to make you my women."

Inuyasha… please come and get me…
