Inuyasha slowly made his way to a nearby park bench. His head was throbbing non-stop. Pulsing… mocking him. Then the thought hit him like a freight train.

"Kagome!"

"What do you mean your women. I don't belong to anybody!" Except for Inuyasha…

"You are mine now. My women. You will sleep with me and when other males look at you I am to kill them."

"Buddy what the hell kind of drugs are you on?"

"What?"

Kagome sighed. "When Inuyasha comes for me you'll regret this."

"That mutt won't be coming for you." He said reaching for her arm. She pulled away but he grabbed for her again. She slapped him.

"You can't do that!" He yelled. "My women can't hit me!"

"Just proving my point." Kagome fumed. Sitting in the corner. "So help me god you try anything… funny."

"Now that you mention it…" Koga said, advancing.

"Touch me and you'll lose more than that smirk. Got it?" Kagome hissed. Koga took a step back. Where was the women he had saw yesterday?

Inuyasha slammed the door to the house as he entered startling the fox demon and child in the kitchen. He had sent them home after waking up in the park. He went into his room and sat down on his bed near the head board. Drawing his knees up to his chest he rested his head on them thinking the entire situation over for a moment…

"I need to go see Kagura."

"So they did come after you… I knew they would."

"I want to make this clear. I'm only hanging around long enough to get Kagome back. After that I'm making a hot trail out of here. Understand."

"Of course." Kagura said. That smirk was starting to scare Inuyasha. He didn't really want to trust her, but at the moment she was his only chance. He had a back-up plan, but it would take time to train himself to control it. He didn't like it one bit, but he knew, if the tale were to come true and history were to repeat itself then it would happen…

Inuyasha stood in a corner of his room. Staring at the wall.

Man. I thought I would never have to go here again… not after Kikyo.

He sighed. Turning he saw Shippo, Sango, and Miroku standing behind him.

"I'm going down. If the alarm goes off, you know what to do. If I'm not back within ten minutes of getting in, the alarm will sound. Do what you must." He said, turning from them before peeling back the wall. It was made a certain material… even he wasn't sure what it was. He looked at the door.

Hidden for so long… he didn't even tell Kagome about it. He opened it throwing a large switch near the door. Hearing lights turn on down the stairs.

He went down there, looking around.

My old training room.

He looked at the cage. He used to sit in there for hours, getting used to his demon side. Learning to call and will it away at a moments notice. He hadn't seen his demonic side in so long. An alarm would be set as soon as he felt himself going into the trance. If he couldn't get out of his trance within ten minutes then the alarm would sound and someone would have to take him out of it… one way or another.

His biggest fear was that within the heat of battle his demon side would only want to kill… even Kagome. If that were to happen.

He stepped into the cage, locking it securely, checking it twice.

He started the timer. Sitting in the chair he closed his eyes and meditated on his demon side.

Don't fear it. Embrace it. Let it become part of you.

`So, after all this time you've come back… I was wondering when you would.'

Look, you are me so you know what has happened. And I need your help… you are part of me.

`You want my help in defeating the wolf Koga? Hmmm, I don't know… maybe I don't feel like it. You did put me away for so long.'

Why are you going to make things difficult. It's not like I'm asking for anything we can't handle. Just show up long enough for the job to get done. You keep forgetting, she loves us "both". Demon and human alike. Isn't that good enough?

`Maybe… maybe not.'

Don't play these damn games with me. If you are going to help me, tell me now. If not and you are going to betray me, tell me now.

A still human Inuyasha look at the red dial clock. Showing off that he had passed about six minutes of his time.

`Fine I will help you.'

Good. I'm going to let you take control. You have until that clock says five seconds. After that I need to hit the alarm with my hanyou blood or else someone one come and shock us. Understand?

`Don't remind me.'

The human Inuyasha sat back and let the demon Inuyasha take control of the body. His eyes turned red and both could see the sudden tint in color. Time slowed down for him. Almost blurring.

It stayed like this for a few minutes before returning back to it's normal color. Time returned to normal.

"How's everything going down there Inuyasha?" Sango's voice called from an `in-cage' speaker. Inuyasha put a finger to the button, feeling a prick as a small expensive computer analyzed his blood, making sure it was the hanyou, not demon.

"I'm back to normal. Gonna give it another go. I'm resetting the timer." He said, letting go.

He let himself fall back into the demonic arms of himself. Letting his world return to a red slowed version on the real thing.

Inuyasha never was sure about how this worked. He knew his demon side was a little faster than his hanyou or human side. But still he wondered. Did time really slow down just for him? Or did he go so fast that time slowed down? Never mind that. Just try and stay in control.

He looked at the clock, three minutes fifty seconds to go. Had it been that long? He could see the dial change… the lights seemed to move in slow motion… did time really slow down?

Never made it as a wise man

Inuyasha watched as the clock red seven seconds as his vision changed back to normal.

So, you'll diffidently not hurt me… you'll help me get back Kagome?

`She fell in love with a hanyou, a human, and a demon. Though I, myself, don't care much for love, I have respect for such things. Yes, I will help - I'm my honor.'

Inuyasha smirked to himself. "Inuyasha, times up."

Another touch, another prick, and this time the door opened up. Inuyasha stretched. "I need a shower. My muscles are starting to ache."

Kagome sat alone on the large `bed' on the floor. Looking around her. She sighed.

"I want to go home… I want to go back to Inuyasha… I want to get out of here."

"It's not that bad. He can be a really nice guy when you get to know him." A voice said from the corner. She had forgot about the body guard.

"But I don't want to get to know him. I've already found someone." She sighed again, looking up at the ceiling.

"Sorry, my lady. But I can't help you with that. I have one order and that is to keep you safe."

Kagome sighed. I know you're coming Inuyasha. Please… hurry.

But it would be her luck that in their haste to grab her, they forgot to check her for two ways or cell phones. Of course, when it did ring they would probably take it away.

And sure enough… it did. She looked at just before the guard snatched it away. She caught a glimpse of three letters. "I", "N", and "U".

"Miroku you had better be serious about this. If this doesn't work I'm going to kill you." Inuyasha huffed, pacing about the room. "I'm positive. I called the phone company after pulling some strings from some buddies down at the police station. They got a warrant to track the GPS signal. It could be as easy as tracking it, and as hard as not getting killed."

Not getting killed. Inuyasha thought harshly at himself. `Don't worry about it. I won't let it happen.' He demon side reassured him… thought coming from a cocky demon… it wasn't much to take away the tension.

"Here we go!" Miroku suddenly said. Startling Inuyasha out of his thoughts as him, Miroku, and Sango all looked at the computer. A red dot blipped on the screen.

"That's the new commercial district. The new, damn what was it… I don't know, but the address is red as 208 Collar road. Something else here… Apartment number 832? Maybe it's that new hotel that went up not too long again. Maybe the wolves have control of it? Keeping Kagome in a particular area? We'll have to see… what's your plan Inuyasha?" Sango said, all in one breath.

"Simple… go in, tare the place up, get Kagome out, all in one piece."
