=Nope, I don't own Inuyasha, but I do have a fluffy cat! =

Sesshomaru searched the saloon for his young niece, Rin. Yes, he was the leader of the group of the most notorious men and demons in the southwest and him in the country, but he couldn't leave her. She was family. In fact, she was the only family. His brother Inuyasha and his brother's wife, Kagome had died six years ago in a fire with their three-year-old son and his parents. Rin was the only survivor.

“Lord Sesshomaru!” He turned around and saw the young girl with one of the whores, standing at the top of the stairs. Then, an old man ran in.

“Black rider!” He cried.

All the men scattered, turning tables over and pulling out their guns.

Sesshomaru, a human named Miroku, and a demon named Koga walked out of the saloon.

Outside, a wolf demon was tying his horse to the post. The stallion was pure black and had a fierce look in his eye. He stared him down as if daring them to come closer.

“Hello sir. May we ask what you're doing in this town that we are currently occupying?” Miroku asked courteously, aware that this demon was strong and might be able to beat Sesshomaru.

The man looked up at them. His eyes were a startling icy gray that sent shivers down the backs of Koga and Miroku. The lower part of his face was covered with a black kerchief with a small white moon stitched onto the corner. His clothing was also black. His large baggy shirt and tight pants along with the comfortable looking boots that covered his extremely small feet. He also had a black hat on.

When he responded, the voice that came from his mouth was not the voice that they were expecting. It was that of a woman. “Sesshomaru, is Rin with you?”

Sesshomaru studied the mans eyes, looking for some evil reason for him to be asking and when he found none, he spoke “Yes, she is here. What is it that you want with the girl?”

“I have something for her.” And with that, he walked past them.

He entered the saloon and all the men stood and pointed their guns at him, ready to fire as soon as their leader gave them the signal. No one noticed the black shadow that entered after the man.

He paid the men no mind and called out, startling them with his feminine voice, “Rin Kaighla Taisho, if your here, get-”

Rin stood at the top of the stairs looking so like...

“Kagome,” he spoke so softly that only the demons with the most sensitive ears could pick it up. The kerchief was pulled from his face, showing a small button nose, and full cherry colored lips. The hat was also pulled from his head, causing the men to gasp. A waterfall of silver cascaded down the persons back.

“Angel lady!” Rin cried and started to dash down the tall, steep stairs. They all gasped in horror as Rin's foot caught in her skirt and she fell. Their gaze turned to the bottom of the stairs and saw the sharp edges of the broken glass lying there, waiting to tear into the soft flesh of the young girl that they had all come to love...
