Chapter 9

*~*~*~* WITH SESS AND KAG*~*~*~*

The three demons, slowly and quietly trekked back to Sesshoumaru's grand palace. Half way there, Shippo fell aslepp in his `Mothers' arms.

"Kagome, do you wish for your kitsune son to be trained aswell?" Questioned the ever emotionless demon lord. "If that is alright with you, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Sesshoumaru-sama." Answered Kagome in a voice filled with thanks.

Sesshoumaru nodded and returned to his thoughts. * Tomorrow, Kanto and I shall train the young miko turned youkai, while Shina and Zane train the young kitsune pup. Perhaps I'll even get Mahku to help train the boy in the ways of a kitsune.*

Sesshoumaru and Kagome reached the edge forest, where, they were greeted with the sight of the loyal generals, on the steps, awaiting the return of their lord and honoured guest.

*~*~*~*WITH THE GENERALS*~*~*~*

"Kanto, where do you suppose Lady Kagome and Lord Sesshoumaru went off to?" Questioned an extremely curious Shina. "I honestly have no clue as to where the two went, but perhaps we should wait for their return on the front steps of the castle." He stated in response to his comrades question.

The three of the walked down to the stairs and sat down on the cold and exquisitely polished marble which made up the beautiful front steps. " I smell them, they are on their way. But there is a scent of another with them, but I do not recognize it." announced the lovely female inu-youkai.

All three of the generals stared in awe at the beautiful demoness, who was walking with their mighty lord. They just gaped, stunned by her natural beauty. Kagome under the gaze of all the generals, whom she now regarded as friends, began to fidget with her foster son's tail out of sheer nervousness, in a vain attempt at soothing her frayed nerves.

Kanto was the first to snap out of his daze and he asked. " Milord, where is Lady Kagome? And who may this breathtaking demoness be?"

" Kanto, this is Kagome, turned demon." Cooly stated Sesshoumaru in a clearly bored and annoyed tone. Zane and Shina snapped out of their dazes at hearing their lord's words. "But how is that possible?" Asked an equally emotionless Zane. " This Sesshoumaru believes that the ancient pendent housed in the small sanctuary caused the transformation." Answered Sesshoumaru in his dull, uninterested voice.

Shina nodded and then looked back at the miko turned youkai. Upon closer inspection, she noticed a small red headed bundle, held tightly in Kagome's arms. She observed that it is a small kitsune pup.

Curiosity getting the better of her she asks "Excuse me milady, but may I ask who the fox child is?" "Oh, this is my sweet little son, Shippo." Answered Kagome in a motherly voice. "But milady, how is that possible?" Questions a confused Shina. "Simple really, I adopted him a while after he was orphaned by the Thundar Brothers." Responded Kagome in a saddened tone. "It must have been had on him, losing his parents at such a young age." said Shina and Kagome just nodded her head in agreement.

"Come, I suggest you go to sleep so that you are ready and rested for your training tomorrow.," Continued Sesshoumaru " I will send Shina to awaken you and the pup at sunrise." Kagome nodded and said her goodnights, then she quickly ran back to her room to get ready for bed.

*~*~*~*WITH INU AND GANG*~*~*~*

The small group sat quietly around the blazing fire all lost in their own thoughts *Mia and I have come a long way to defeat Naraku, but I suppose Inu-Yasha is the one who should get the honour of destroying that monster. But I kinda would like to see how well he will do against Naraku. Cute versus Evil. WHOAH!!! Wait a minute I did NOT just think that!! Acctually, you did. Which in another words means you got a serious crush on him. What hang on no way in hell do I have a crush on that emotional hanyou!!!! Oh yes you do! Total denial!!! Eurge!! Leave me alone!!! Fine, fine, what ever I'll be back later *

* This is going to be interesting, oh well Sakura and I have come a long way to see that wretched hanyou's downfall and I will NOT miss it.* *Feh' More woman to worry about, oh well maybe they'll be useful. Who knows maybe they might prove to be just what we need to defeat Naraku and save Kagome.*

* I hope these two, will help us defeat Naraku and save Kagome, hold on `sister' we're coming. Soon, very soon I promise.* * Perhaps these lovely two maidens will be use some use other than saving Kagome or defeating Naraku. { AN: Yes you perverts, he is thinking his normal perverted thoughts.} I wonder which I will bless first... Oh look!! Sango's beautiful butt is in groping range.*

All of them, dead quiet, that is until a loud SLAP and a scream of "HENTAI!!" Resounded throughout the entire swap lands. Sango, slapped him then she knocked him out using her large boomerang.

After they had all eaten the supper, which Inu-Yasha had hunted they all settled in for the night, planning on continuing tomorrow with renewed strength.

*~*~*~*WITH NARAKU*~*~*~*

"KUKUKUKUKU!! Kagura, it would seem you have been best by a miko turned youkai. Kukuku, quite impressive. It would seem, I'll be in need of more careful planning if I wish to recapture my darling demoness." * Excellent, one I make her my mate I will be undeniably be the most powerful being on the face of the earth.*

*Damn bastard, I bet he was planing this all along. Some day, I'll be free.* thought a seriously annoyed Kagura.

*~*~*~*NEXT MORNING WITH KAG*~*~*~*

"Lady Kagome, Lady Kagome, it's time to wake up." Said Shina, gently shaking her. Kagome simply muttered in response "Five more minutes, mommy." and rolled over. *It would seem waking her up may be harder then I first thought* Smiling wickedly at the plan she just formed to wake Kagome up with, she drew in a deep breath and screamed at the top of her lungs. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Both Kagome and Shippo, woke with a start, looking wildly around for the cause of alarm. Shina seeing both their confused and alarmed faces burst out laughing.

*~*~*~*WITH SESS, KANTO AND ZANE*~*~*~*

"Milord, you wish to use the larger training dojo, to train Lady Kagome, correct?" Asked Zane in his ever so dull voice. (AN: He is like Sesshoumaru and doesnt often show any emotion.) Sesshoumaru just nodded his head and said. "Yes, It would be best that way. Zane, go and get Mahku, he will be able to help train the fox child in the ways of a kitsune." "Yes milord." Was his response to the order, then without so much as a look back he leaves to carry out his masters will. "Sesshou-sama do you..." But Kanto never got finish he questions because at that exact moment a loud shriek was heard. Both demons burst out of the room, speeding towards the sound of the scream, which they both noticed came from Kagome's room.

They arrived at the room and flung the door open to see Kagome and Shippo standing alert and prepared for battle, looking incrediously down at Shina, who was laughing extremely hard and rolling around on the ground.

Sesshoumaru, slightly annoyed at being disturbed over nothing cleared his voice to gain everyone's attention . Shina immediately stood up and regained her composer. "What was all the screaming about?" Questioned a curious Kanto. "Well you see, I couldn't awaken Kagome so I decided to try something a little extreme and I guess you and the entire palace heard. But hey, at least I got her to wake up." Responded a brightly blushing demon who looked extremely embarrassed.

"Very well, but next time I'll send Naomi to wake her up. Kagome, Shippo a suggest you to get dressed for the day then met us down in the dining hall for breakfast." Stated Sesshoumaru. "Kay" Muttered a sleepy Kagome. The two generals and demon Lord all left Kagome and Shippo to prepare themselves for the long and exhausting day that lays ahead of them.

"Hey Shippo, do you mind helping me pick out a fighting yuketta (AN: Please forgive me, I'm not to gifted in the art of spelling.) Please." "Sure thing, hey Kagome ummmm.... is it alright if I call you mom?" Asked a slightly nervous Shippo. "Aww, of course you can, I would be most honoured if you did." Stated Kagome in her most loving motherly voice. She walked over to the young kitsune and picked him up and gave him a huge hug.

"Mama, I think you should wear that one." Shippo said matter of factly, pointing to the sleeveless black one with a silver border and two long slits going two mid thigh on each side, it has a silver sash and a silver dragon printed on it.

Smiling at her sons choice, she nodded in agreement and she quickly changed into the new battle gear. After putter her new outfit on, she quickly combed her hair and put it up in a ponytail like Sango's, then she added some light eyeshadow and some sparkly lip gloss. She then picks up Shippo and deposits him on her right shoulder, then swiftly exits the room. She carefully sniffs her way to the dinning hall since she forgot how to get there.

*~*~*~*WITH INU AND GANG*~*~*~*

The sun just barely rose, and Inu-Yasha was fully awake, sitting in the tree he decided to sleep in for the night. He sat there as quiet as can be just gazing down at the slumbering forms of his group members. But most of his attention was focus on one of the newest members of their group, Sakura. * Wow, she is beautiful... Hey wait a minute, Don't I love Kagome? You used to, but what chance to you think you got left after what happened between you and Kikyou. Maybe you should go for Sakura she is quite the catch. What hey, who are you? What are you doing in side my head?

Im your conscience, I live here. How stupid can you get? HEY!!!!!! I AM NOT STUPID, stupid..... Jerk... Feh just leave me alone will you.? Fine whatever, but just so that you know, I will be back, I promise. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!*

Inu: Sesshoumaru, you bastard, quit sucking up to her, your turning into her lap dog!!!

Sess: Arrogant puppy!!!! This Sesshoumaru will show you your place, no one insults me the great taiyoukai of the West or my Mate!!!

Kag: Since when are you mated with her?

Uni: Fluffy you were supposed to keep that quiet, our little secret. (Pouts uni)

( sess rushes up to me and grabs me in his embrace.)

Sess: Forgive me love, I just wanted to show the half breed his place. How bout I make it up to you?

Uni: Ok... lets go to the park.....bye everyone ... oh and by the way SIT!!!

Shippo: Well there they go... again... oh well.... she said she'd try and update ASAP and hopefully with WAY longer chapters..

Miroku: Hey were did Sango get to, She seems to have just disappeared after I mentioned trying to kiss for several minutes.... I wonder where my lovely little dumpling went off to....
