Inuyasha opened the wooden door to Moroha's room and tried to hide his smirk at the pouting child. They had to make a door to her room when she started to become more adventurous and escape their large hut.

Kagome giggled quietly at her pups antics and put Moroha at the table before scooping up a bowl of finely cut pieces of rabbit and a little bit of broth. When Moroha started to stuff her face, Kagome gave her a stern look, immediately making the child pout but slow down her eating.

"Feh." Inuyasha smirked but kissed Kagome before helping her gather the rest of their servings and sitting down at the table also.

A few minutes later, a tired and yawning Shippo came out of his bedroom and into the dining area, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Moroha dropped the piece of meat she had in her hand and ran to jump into Shippo's arms. "Sippooo!"

Kagome narrowed her eyes at Inuyasha. "He's just a kit. I would prefer you to go with him."

Inuyasha crossed his arms. "He's gonna have to learn at some point to hunt without help. What is he gonna do when he finds a mate? I can't go huntin' for them." Inuyasha rolled his eyes.

Kagome's face burned red with anger and trepidation. She rushed to wrap her arms around the struggling Kitsune.

"He is too young for that! We don't need to worry about him mating let alone hunting! What if there is a youkai attack!?"

"Fine." She turned back to Shippo when he started to do a victory dance and narrowed her eyes at him. "But, you will be careful. If there is danger, you do not fight. You may destract it but run. Do you understand? You pop into a little balloon and fly away."

Shippo nodded his head exitedly before giving his parents a hug to say thanks. As he was about to run out the door, Kagome spoke without thinking.

"Wait, Shippo. Sit back down." The quick slam came from behind her and Kagome gasped as she went to help Inuyasha off the floor of their hut. "Damn it! I'm sorry!" She berated herself for using that word on accident, again.

As soon as Inuyasha stood up, Moroha giggled and clapped her hands before yelling, "Sit! Papa sit!"

Shippo started to laugh, Inuyasha glared at Kagome and Kagome looked like she didn't know whether to laugh or not.

Kagome let out a shallow breath as Inuyasha pulled her into his arms. "It's okay, Kagome. It's just for one night.

"I know." Pulling back and wiping her face clear of tears once again, she smiled up at the love of her life. "Come on, let's go to Kaede's and then back home. I have plans for you."

"Oh nothing, Inuyasha." She waved her hand in dismissal and looked back at the old miko. "Am I able to use a small phrase instead of a single word?" Kaede nodded her head, causing Kagome's smile to return. Kagome clapped her hands together and spoke again. 'Alright. What do we need to do?"

Kaede walked up to the nervous hanyou and grasped the kotodama. She closed her eyes and chanted a few words barely under her breath, even Inuyasha couldn't catch what was said. When she pulled away, the rosary glew a bright pink and shimmered lightly.

"Moku-Oji cazy?"

Inuyasha smirked but didn't comment, knowing he would get in trouble. Kagome pulled Moroha into her lap and kissed her cheek.

"No, honey. Miroku is just very amused. It's grown-up stuff, okay?"

"Kay!"

Once Miroku was able to stop laughing he looked between the blushing Miko and the irate hanyou. "So, I see what angered your demon to show itself like this now, my friend."

Inuyasha cracked his knuckles. "If you don't be quiet monk, I'll make you."

Miroku waved his hands in front of his face in a dismissive manor. "Okay okay. I will be quiet." 'For now.'

Understanding her husbands meaning, Sango blushed and glanced at Kagome. They shared a look that basically said, 'men are baka's.'
