Chapter 6:  Armature

Kagome sat idly in her room early that morning. She didn't get a wink of sleep last night and as a result, her faced was dauntingly ashen. She usually let out frustration through facial expressions which caused her faced to become twisted with anguish.

"Kagome, you're going to be late for school!" Mrs. Higurashi yelled as she opened the door to her daughter's bedroom only to find her face sad and her eyes sunken in with pain. Upon seeing this she was immediately by her side. "Baby, what's the matter?"

Kagome couldn't possibly tell her mother about her feelings. There was no need to and it probably wouldn't transcend beyond the confined borders that was their mother daughter relationship. It just consisted of her mother worrying about her constantly and Kagome trying to convince her that everything was okay.

"I'm just sick from staying up late last night."

"What have I told you about that?" Mrs. Higurashi placed her hand on her daughter's forehead, checking the temperature. "This doesn't have anything to do with that InuYasha boy from the other night, does it? Did he try anything?"

Kagome quickly shook her head. "No, mom. He was actually a perfect gentleman. He just helped me finish my outline and that was it." She said with hopes that her mother could comprehend contently enough that she wouldn't constantly become so anxiously worried about her every two seconds. It hurt to see her mother care so much that it physically showed in the creases that gathered around her face and faulty joints that came from stress more than age.

"I'm sorry for being this way." She anxiously rubbed her thighs with withered hands. "It's just after what happened with that boy I just---"

"Mom, I'm fine now. The counselors were really good. I'm healed." Kagome said trying to convince her mother. Inwardly, she wasn't completely fine. It pained to even bring it up at this moment. It was over four years ago, but she still woke up with the emotional scars etched into her brain when she slept.

"You can't just be cured from something like this, Kagome. I'm worried about your health."

"I go to the doctor every month. I'm pretty healthy."

Mrs. Higurashi sighed debating on whether or not she should mention the words that came to her mind. She couldn't fathom how Kagome took this so lightly. "I mean your mental health and your social health, ever since that day you've been compulsively cleaning and very closed in. I want you to have a normal life."

"I'm fine. I like my life." Kagome assured her mother. "What happened all of those years ago is behind me. I like repetition which is why I clean and I'm closed in because....because nobody really wants to talk to me." This statement was completely true, but wasn't the complete truth. Parts were left out for good reason.

"That InuYasha boy seem like he wants to talk to you." Mrs. Higurashi said with hope that laced with fear.

Kagome nodded before thinking about how nice InuYasha was to her. Even before he found her dreaded sketch book, he would always greet her and snatched her up from the floor when someone aggressively pushed her down.

"I know

InuYasha drummed his fingers along his desk with fearful anticipation. He turned around to see the far back corner seat empty. 'Where is she?' He never feared anything until this point. He usually wasn't afraid of anything, but he was afraid a single occurrence:

If Kagome avoided him.....

He stared the empty down hoping her spirit could feel his urgency in wanting her to be there. 'Don't avoid me' He inwardly pleaded. 'My heart won't be able to take it.'

"Missing your little girlfriend?" Miroku said settling down next to him. InuYasha looked up to his friend with gloomy eyes that almost brought his lecherous friend to his knees. "Dude, what's your problem?"

"I don't know. I miss her constantly and I was looking forward to this class all day just to see her, but she's not here."

"Is she ever? I didn't even notice she was in this class until yesterday." Miroku scoffed. Why was InuYasha so hung up on this girl? It irked him enough to even believe that maybe she put a crazy whammy on him.

"I should've never exposed myself." InuYasha admitted.

"What? Don't tell you let the snake out of the hole. You gotta wait for the third date before you just whip it out."

InuYasha gave his lecherous friend an incredulous look. "No, man! I gave her back her sketch book yesterday."

"Shit, son! So, she knows that you know." He vaguely said.

InuYasha knew that she knew about the sketch pad, but did she know about how he felt about her? "I think so? I tossed it to her. She didn't even react or respond, and now she's missing."

"Calm down. She's probably embarrassed. Think about it. What if you were obsessively drawing someone in a creepy sketch book then the person you were drawing about actually found it. That's ultimate humiliation to the highest power."

InuYasha sighed when Miroku put it that way.  It actually made sense. ‘Miroku making sense? The world must be ending’. "I just want her to know that she shouldn't be ashamed. The sketch book wasn't creepy, it was pretty cool."

Miroku just shrugged. "She'll have to come back to school one day. She can't stay away forever."

'I don't want to go back to school. I just want to stay away forever.' Kagome inwardly sulked. She couldn't though. She couldn't possibly miss her art class. It was the highlight of her day. She looked at the clock and realized that she still had time to make it to her art class and enjoy the free hour she had afterwards to finish the painting that InuYasha interrupted.

Kagome jumped out of the bed before diligently fixing the sheets and plain comforter back to its original place. She smoothed out the creases to ensure that it held up to the standards that she imagined was appropriate. It's completely normal to fix your bed in the morning.' She mentally assured herself, but why did it feel abnormal when she did it.

She sighed at this before quickly disregarding the thought that tried to climb inside her brain. She quickly walked over to her closet before opening it and revealing the slew of oversized hooded sweatshirts and cargo pants that varied in different dark colors.

Kagome settled on all black everything as she grabbed a dark black hoodie and cargo pants. She threw the two over her arm before quietly padding over to her drawer before pulling it out to unveil the contrast of soft colored camis. Kagome decided on plain white this time before adding it to the bunch collected over her forearm. She neatly placed her outfit along with white undergarments out on her bed before she headed to her bathroom to take a shower.

She was set on finishing that painting.

After sulking all 5th period, InuYasha walked with heavy steps towards his new 6th period in hopes of seeing Kagome's face. He never knew he could miss one individual as much as he missed her. His heart felt dark and withered as it would often sink into his abdomen causing him so much emotional pain that it became physical.

He arrived at the art class and walked in only to find that.....

Kagome wasn't anywhere to be found.

"InuYasha, are you okay? You look....I don't know what you look like, but it doesn't look good at all." Mrs. Ishibashi said once she saw her model.

"I'm fine, Mrs. Ishibashi. Do I have to change right now?" He asked trying to sound as normal as possible with a vacant hole in heart.

"No, not today. Well, I was planning on using Kagome's outline and you to explain a point, but since she's not here....you can go."

"You haven't seen her all day?" InuYasha asked.

"No, actually and that’s really weird. She's never missed a class."

"Oh. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, Mrs. Ishi." InuYasha said before walking off until he bumped into a soft figure. "I'm sorry." He said before looking up to see that he bumped into Kikyo.

"InuYasha?" Kikyo beamed as she finally got the chance to see him.

"Hey, Kikyo." InuYasha refreshingly said. It was invigorating to see her bubbly face when he felt like dying in a pit.

"Are you ready for mochi tonight?"

InuYasha looked confused. What was going on tonight? What's today? He thought as he tried to piece together memories in his mind. 'Oh, shit! It's Friday!' He inwardly shouted.

"InuYasha?!" Kikyo said as she nudged him. "Why are you always spacing out?"

"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry." He sheepishly said. 'God, I sound like Higurashi. An image of her flashed through his mind bringing him back to that place he was earlier.

"So, are you ready for the best mochi ice cream your taste buds have ever tasted?"

InuYasha nodded. "Yeah, I can't wait. So, do I meet you up there?" He casually asked. He just wanted to get out this conversation right now.

Kikyo made a face. "I was hoping you were going to pick me up." She said with a small pout.

InuYasha blushed. "Yeah, of course"

"Cool! I'll see you tonight around....I don't know...I guess six o'clock is a good enough time, right?"

InuYasha just nodded making Kikyo jokingly nudge him.

"Speak, Takahashi. You're acting like a mute." She joked.

"I'm a little sick I guess." He said as he couldn't believe that Higurashi was causing his body functions to shut down just because she wasn't around.

Kikyo frowned. "I hope it isn't anything serious."

InuYasha smirked at the thought of Kagome. "I hope it isn't either."

"So, where are you headed?" Kikyo said as she held the books that were in her arm closer to her body.

"I don't know really. I'm not needed in the art room today."

"You can come with me." She said as she unconsciously bit her bottom lip as she tightened her hold on her books as the anticipation of his answer rose higher.

InuYasha couldn't help but notice her soft pink petal of a lip become a prisoner behind her pearly whites. "Um...where are you going exactly?"

"The library." Kikyo simply said.

"They have one?" InuYasha asked amazed that this school was equip enough to carry a facility that carried books and a quiet space for students to study.

Kikyo couldn't help but giggle. "Yes, silly!"

InuYasha smiled at her infectious giggle that was uniquely hers. It always was light and girlish despite the fact that she was a slight tomboy. "Why do you want to go to the library?"

Kikyo shrugged. "I need to study. I never get a chance because of the volleyball team."

InuYasha could understand this. The girl’s volleyball team was more cherished than their football and basketball teams. They were undefeated so it would seem they practiced vigorously. Upon realizing this, InuYasha became increasingly proud of Kikyo. Even though she was a volleyball star, she kept up her grades and found time to study.

"Well, how about it, Takahashi?" Kikyo jokingly urged but hoped that he would say 'yes'

"I would be stupid not to." InuYasha casually said.

Kagome arrived thirty minutes late to art, but she arrived no less. All the students averted their eyes towards the door seeing Kagome hid under her hood and baggy pants.

"Higurashi, you're late!" Mrs. Ishibashi stated not even taking the liberty to turn around from the white board.

"I'm sorry. Mrs. Ishi." Kagome said as she ran to her designated seat that was excruciatingly in the front row.

"I know. You'll make it up to me." The art teacher said as she finally turned around to acknowledge her student.  “I was planning on using your outline and InuYasha today. I had to send the poor guy off.”
Kagome’s eyes widened before searching the class to find that he was indeed gone. She sighed in relief. ‘At least I don’t have to see his face today. I don’t know what I will do if I did’

“So, as a result of your extreme tardiness, I want you to teach the lesson on contour tomorrow.”

Kagome cringed when she said that. Every time a student was late for more than fifteen minutes they had to teach next day's lesson

‘I’ll do anything other than that’ Kagome thought with pleading eyes fixed upon her teacher, hoping that she practiced telepathy.

It seemed that she could have the way Mrs. Ishibashi returned a hardened glare that stood its ground in what she spoke earlier. “I’ll go over the lesson with you after class.”

Kagome sighed before throwing herself onto her desk in defeat. She buried her face in the shapeless sleeves of her sweatshirt. ‘I can’t believe my life’

InuYasha quickly decided that coming to the library with Kikyo was a good idea. Their studying turned into Kikyo just tutoring him.  She was surprisingly smart and knew a lot about history which should have been his strong subject, but he was failing all of his tests. Kikyo brought up that the main reason he was failing tests was because he wasn’t retaining the information, which is why she even taught him how to take proper lecture notes so that he could study on his own later. Then after glancing at his huge Chemistry book, she asked a couple questions about equations and he had no idea what she was talking about. This prompted her to help him with his Chemistry.

As she explained about balancing equations, InuYasha couldn’t help but notice every time she got excited about a certain topic she would lick her lips then push her hair behind her ear…..

It was cute.

Kikyo noticed the way he was looking at her and mildly blushed. “What?”

InuYasha folded his arms across his chest and looked away. “Nothing.”

“I notice your little quirks, too.” Kikyo quipped.

“What quirks? I don’t have any quirks.”

“I know your little defense mechanism. I can always tell when you’re uncomfortable.”

“How can you tell?” InuYasha said as he let his arms fall on the desk.

“Every time you are embarrassed or anything that has to do with feelings you cross your arms over your chest.” Kikyo noted.

InuYasha immediately crossed his arms before realizing what he’d just done and sighed. “You’re right.” He admitted. “How do you know these things about me?” He pressed.

Kikyo took the time to fixate her gaze onto InuYasha in a seductive way she didn’t even know she possessed. “I like to watch you.”

InuYasha’s heart began to race as her warm, gingered cocoa eyes delved into his in the most entrancing way that he audibly ‘gulped’. “W-w-why?” He stuttered

“You fascinate me.”

What was it about him that made girls want to watch him? Was he giving on some type of weird hormone or something? Should he be offended that she treated him like some oddity? He simply let the thought go before responding.  “Thanks…I think.” He replied.

Kikyo shrugged. “You’re welcome. Now, let’s get back to your Chemistry. To balance this particular equation you need to know that…..”

The bell instantaneously sounded making the four eyes turn towards the clock.

“It’s late and time for your History class. Are you ready for that test?” Kikyo said as she lightly gave him an encouraging nudge.

“I’m not going.” InuYasha simply said.

Kikyo stood their gaping. “W-what do you mean you’re not going?”

“I’m not ready. I’ll study these notes you took for me and I’ll take the make-up test tomorrow. Sounds good right?”

Kikyo just shook her head. “Sometimes, Takahashi, I just don’t know about you/” She said as she got up and prepared her books for her AP English class.

“It seems like you know more about me than I do myself.” He commented.

“I couldn’t even if I tried. You won’t let me get that close.” She said as she walked towards the exit. “See you tonight. Don’t be late. I hate to wait. Hey, that rhymed.” She said before giggling as she trotted off.

InuYasha smiled and watched amazement as Kikyo left. “She’s pretty smart.” He said before looking over his history notes as he was intent on studying.

Soon a group of students dressed in animal ears and weird get-ups started to enter the room before sitting down a nearby table.

InuYasha lifted his eyebrow in curiosity. ‘Is the circus in town?’

“The anime club meeting shall now commence!” shouted one member of the group.

InuYasha never go got out of dodge so fast in his life. He couldn’t study around high school kids talking about plushies, fluff, and the debate over American voice over actors not comparing to the Japanese ones.

‘Where can I go?’ InuYasha pondered as he was now walking the desolate halls of his school. He instantly thought of the art room, it would be empty since…Kagome was absence. The thought made his heart take the plunge into his stomach, and again he started to feel like he did this morning.

‘Fuck.’

He reached the art room before gently opening the door.

Déjà vu washed over him in waves.

There she was.

Painting with her hair free and clad in a white cami and black cargos similar to how she was the other day. She was finishing the scenery with the lush waterfalls and sunset. InuYasha ran his hands down his face to wake himself up. This simply had to be a dream, right?

He didn’t want disturb the beauty in front of him; he was scared she would repeat her actions from the other day and run off.

So, he was content with just watching her unwind and be herself.

(·.·´¯`·)»*«( ·´¯`·.·)

After class, Kagome was finally taking care of the painting of the waterfall scenery she didn’t get a chance to complete that faithful day. She finished the detail on her cheerful sunset before it was complete. She sighed before leaning back to stretch her tensed muscles. Kagome smiled contently at her painting. The finished project spoke to who she was as an artist, definitely not who she was as a person. It was ironic how her art displayed images that completely contrasted with her lifestyle. She inwardly wished she could be as bright as the painting in front of her. The levels of positivity spilled off the canvas in flows of joyous, childlike spontaneity, but it never reached beyond that point.

Kagome glanced at her painting once more before she couldn't even look at any longer. Whenever she did, she immediately thought of an odd silver haired boy that was seemingly connected to this painting.

Her stomach started to rumble with anguish as a wave of depression washed over her form. 'Why am I feeling like this?' She asked herself.

What was she to do? She couldn't even think of any words to form if she ever did run into him. He knew too much about her obsession with him based off the sketches she drew. At the thought of her sketch pad, she immediately brought it out of her canvas bag and decided to look through it. It's been awhile since she actually saw them.

Kagome casually flipped through the various images that displayed InuYasha in every way possible. She actually giggled at a few as she started to remember her thought process while drawing them.

She smiled slightly at her sketch pad until the last page caught her eye. It was a message of some kind and it wasn't in her handwriting. She decided to read it:

Kagome, if you’re reading this, than I’ve decided to give you back your sketch pad and I know about you obsessively shadowing me.

The tinge of embarrassment colored her cheeks.

However, I don’t mind the sketch pad actually. It touched me to know that anyone cares that much about me

So,

If I had one wish on this Earth, I would wish that you could see that you make me feel just as hopeless as I make you feel.
I'm afraid that if I tell you everything my heart is feeling that you will avoid me
I'm scared that you will run away.
It's my deepest fear that you won't accept me once you realize who I really am
Don't avoid me, Kagome because if you do…
You'll destroy me.

The penciled words started to fade with Kagome’s tears. She wiped them away with the back of her hand, but they continued to flow down her cheeks like a never-ending river.

“You finally read it.” InuYasha softly said as he made his presence known.

Kagome quickly whipped her head around once she heard his gruff voice. “Inu…Yasha.” She lightly said as she blinked away the tears from her visage because she couldn’t believe he was in front of her right now.

Her tears frantically made him want to hold her, but InuYasha’s heart sighed contently at the sound of her voice. “When you say my name….you just don’t know how it makes me feel.”

“You feel?” Kagome asked. “How can you…is this true?” She asked holding up her pad.

InuYasha slowly nodded as he walked forward before closing the door behind him. “Every word. I wouldn’t write it if I didn’t mean it. I couldn’t write it if I didn’t mean it. Apparently, I’m closed off about my feelings. This isn’t the case with you.”

“I was so embarrassed. I didn’t know how you felt about my….sketches.”Kagome quickly said as she wanted to get that thought from knocking on her lips.

“Don’t be. I like them, especially the few last ones.” He replied with a devilish grin.

He was clearly referring to the naked ones and it made Kagome blush harshly until her cheeks started to tingle.

“I was thinking when you had the time, I could show how that sketch should look like.” InuYasha with a prurient look in his eye.

That’s when her whole body started to tingle. “I don’ think my mother would approve of that.”

InuYasha slowly started to stalk towards her as his warm autumn seasoned eyes bore into hers

Kagome’s body heat quickly rose as she could almost feel the sweat droplets beg to be released from her pores. “Yasha…?” Kagome lightly warned.

“So, I see you finished my painting.” InuYasha said changing the subject once he could sense the rise in her anxiety levels.

Kagome blinked at his statement. She stood there completely frozen right after she was burning with heated desire. She turned towards her painting them back up at InuYasha.

“Your painting?” Kagome exclaimed.

InuYasha placed his hands on his hip. “Yeah, I take full credit for it. Can I have it?”

Kagome scoffed. “No, you can’t have my painting.”

“I really like it. It makes me feel happy….which is like a really big deal.”

Kagome let out a small smile. That was the whole point of her art….she wanted to make people better about themselves. She inwardly rejoiced that it translated well and traveled beyond the confines of the canvas. “In that case, you can have it.”

InuYasha eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas day. “Really?! How much?”

Kagome shook her head as she held up her hands to signal stop his intentions. “No, need. I’m glad that my art can make you feel that deeply. That’s the nicest compliment anyone has ever made about my work. So, I thank you.” She said before getting up at lifting the canvas off of the easel and handing it over to him. “Here take it.”

“Oh, I should thank you.”  He said as he took it and placed it neatly to the side. “I’ll hang it above my bed.”

Kagome giggled. “I’ll have to see that.”

InuYasha smirked. “You’re always welcome to.”

Kagome stopped her laughter once she was realized the double meaning behind her words. “I-I-I meant to say…I didn’t mean to say. You know what I MEANT!” She fumed.

InuYasha rolled his eyes. “Whatever, Higurashi.  If that what floats your boat….”

“Oh, wouldn’t you like to know what does.” Kagome said with a little sass behind her comment.

“As a matter of fact…”

“Don’t finish it.” Kagome warned.

It suddenly became quiet as both occupants of the art room ran out of smart lines, quips, and things they could say.

InuYasha looked over her form and bit the inside of his mouth to contain the groan that threatened to come out. He couldn’t help the way his pants tightened at the sight of her slender form being exposed. He rarely got to see this because she constantly wore sweatshirts to cover it. “Why do you always wear clothes that are so over bearing?” He simply blurted out.

There were so many hidden answers to that question that Kagome couldn’t properly state them. “Do you have a problem with the way I dress?”

InuYasha shook his head. “I don’t have a problem with anything that concerns you. I like you the way you are.”

Kagome’s heart stopped. ‘Did he really?’ “Well, I dress like this so I can keep eyes off of me….at all times. I don’t want to be ogled at school.”

The thought of other men looking at Kagome’s body upset him for some reason. “I don’t want you to be ogled at school either.” He said before taking a once over glance of her form.

“Well, don’t.” Kagome said as she felt uncomfortable under his salacious stare.

InuYasha held up his hands in defense. “I’m sorry. I can’t help myself. You’re sexy.” He quickly wanted to retract the last sentence that flew out of his pie hole. ‘Why can’t I control the things I say around her?’

“I’m…what?!” Kagome asked in disbelief.

“I apologize. Did I offend you? It’s the truth though.” He said as she swiftly wanted to save face.

“No, I guess I’m not offended. Just….out of all the adjectives to describe myself….sexy is not what comes to my mind.”

“That’s because it goes straight to mine.” InuYasha promptly covered his mouth. “Shit, I’m sorry. I just keep saying the first thing that comes to mind. It’s really irritating actually.”

“It’s fine. It’s refreshing.”

InuYasha sighed. “I’m glad you think so.”

“I like everything about you, InuYasha.” Kagome gently bespoke

InuYasha allowed that comment to process through his brain before floating down and settling into his heart. “Do you really?” He asked as he began to kick imaginary dust as he looked at his feet.

“Yes.” Kagome whispered.

“How? You don’t know anything about me.” He said before looking up into her bejeweled eyes that sparkled like rare sapphires

“I want to.” She merely said.

“Is that the truth?” He pressed as he voice lowered to a deeper register than Kagome was used to.

She nodded. “It is.”

InuYasha closed his eyes before he gripped the top of his skull cap. He dragged it downwards to reveal two small, furry triangles atop his head. He could hear her sharp intake of breath and it felt like a pin through his heart. ‘Why did I do this? Why am I showing her this?’

Kagome audibly gasped at the sight of the hanyou before her. She’s heard of demons in her history class and knew that walked around with humans but….she never thought she would ever actually meet one. She looked up to his ears that twitched in the most adorable way. No wonder she was so drawn to him, he was something to be marveled at.

“Please….say something.” He pleaded as his eyes remained closed.

Kagome couldn’t say anything. All of her words left her mouth the very moment he took of that hat. She guessed actions should speak louder than words.

InuYasha waited in anguished anticipation to hear her response as he twisted the black cap in his hands. His heart did so many flips flops and somersaults that it qualified for the Olympics. That was until…he felt warm, petite hands caress his most vulnerable appendages. He opened his eyes to reveal Kagome mere inches away from his face. Her arms hung over his head as her hands did the work of fondling his ears.

“They’re soft.”

InuYasha’s first instinct should have been to jerk away. He hated when people touched his ears. He almost socked Miroku in the jaw when he revealed himself. But he couldn’t help but to moan when it was the delicate fingers of Kagome dancing atop the apex of his ears

“Is….is that all you can say?” InuYasha said through thick passion.

“It’s the truth.” Kagome said before releasing his ears and settling back onto the heels of her feet.

InuYasha mildly whimpered at the lost of her warmth. “You’re not afraid?”

Kagome shook her head. “I can’t wait to sketch you like this.”

InuYasha smirked before he realized how close her body was to his. He felt that urge again…that constant desire to devour her whole. He dipped his head low as his faced inched closer to hers.

She shuddered at the feel of his breath waft across her cheek in heavy puffs. “What are you—?”

Before she could finish her sentence her lips became captive to his. He couldn’t help himself before he crashed his mouth onto hers loving the ethereal taste of her petals.

Her body became a slave to him as it automatically molded to his form. The rugged warmth of his structure oozed masculinity but remained immature at the same time.

He claimed her by wrapping a strong arm around her waist and bringing her deeper into the kiss.

Kagome arms involuntarily circled around his neck as she stood on her tip toes to get better access to the ruby lips that ravaged her.

InuYasha’s arm traveled slightly below her bottom as he effortlessly picked her up inches from the ground.

She felt so light and feminine in his arms that she wanted to experience this feeling for the rest of her days.

Then….

…..the bell sounded.

As much as it pained InuYasha to stop kissing those wonderful lips of Kagome, he simply had to hurry and put his sock cap back on before rumors started. So, he settled her down and quickly donned the black hat.

Kagome stood with a sheepish expression and a blush that was painted across her cheeks.

As the rustling of students footsteps started to slowly dissipate, the atmosphere of the art room became thick.

“So, what are you doing tomorrow?” InuYasha asked before licking his lips to savor that treat that was once there.

Kagome shook her head. “Nothing.”

“Can I take you out somewhere?” He asked.

“Like a date?” Kagome asked.

“Yes, exactly like a date.” He confidently said

Kagome blushed before quickly nodding. “What…”She cleared her throat. “What time?”

“I think eight o’clock is appropriate date time, right?”

Kagome shrugged. “I wouldn’t know, but eight o’clock sounds fine.”

“Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow.” InuYasha said before picking up the painting that Kagome wholeheartedly gave. “Well, let me take this so it can hang above my bed. “He said in a sing song voice.

“InuYasha?”

He turned around as he reached the door. “Yeah?”

“I do accept you as you are. I wouldn’t change one thing about you.”

It was InuYasha’s turn to blush and act shy. “Thanks. That means a lot.” He said before walking out of the class and into the halls. “More than you know.” He whispered to himself.

A/n: Reviewed reviews time. I won’t get everybody. I promise.

Youkaineko:  Um…I apologize. I should really pay attention to stuff like that. I guess the name of the band will be Deathless (I made it up.) Disregard, Deadless, I guess. As for the genre…..I mean I want it to be 70’s rock. So, I’ll stick with that. Thanks for paying close attention to detail. It’s greatly appreciated.

Cwilia: I felt squishy writing it. Lol

ThisIsMeSmiling: I’m glad you are enjoying my fluff because I enjoy writing it. I hope you like the above fluff just as much.

Kagome313: I hope I do, too. I only have like two measly chapters required to finish HWBL and All I Want for Christmas. I guess I’m just too chicken shit to do it or something. *sighs* I’ll grow balls…I swear it!

ChibiRin: I’M so happy you stumbled on this fic. I’m glad you appreciate the premise here. Kikyo’s cool in this story. I didn’t want to portray her as Kagome’s evil twin or something. It’s just…InuYasha sees something in Kagome that he doesn’t in Kikyo. It’s life.

Unistar: I got a chance to update during that fake tsunami. They ruined a perfectly sunny day. I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry.
