Year 1850 BC.

Inuyasha’s Point of View.

For exactly fifty years I have been dreaming of her. That is exactly 18,250 days of having a dream with her in it. She smiles with kindness, and looks at me with her gorgeous hazel eyes with softness and curiosity. Her skin, not pale nor not too tan. Her black raven hair is perfectly brushed throughout. And her scent unexplainable. Such sweet a fraigrent.

Throughout these fifty years of dreaming about her, I noticed something.

“Mikan!” I remembered shouting. “Leave them alone!”

I fell in love.

“No Inuyasha!” She paused in speaking. She began to run through the streets of moving objects, aiming for a particular object with wheels moving quickly.

“Mikan!” I shouted.

Whoever was in that object with wheels, I could not just let her kill them. Innocent people. Innocent lives.

Must she always kill?

I do not remember much, but all I could exactly remember was when the object crashed because of Mikan. She immediately left right after that, back to our world. I quickly ran over to the accident, and all I saw were two people. A married couple. The woman was bleeding from her head, and the man… was no longer alive. The object had a huge dent on the front, and all the windows were cracked up, falling off as well. But what really caught my attention was that the woman was pregnant.

I took her out of whatever she was in, which was very complicated. By the time I took her out, there was a man taking her away from me. They put her on a bed that had wheels, and into another one of those objects with wheels. But this one was white and red and had red lights on the top. One of the men had pushed me into it, and they drove off once I was in it and had closed the doors.

I looked down at the woman, and heard her heart beat. She will not be able to survive. Worse of all, the baby inside her will die.

He eyes opened half ways staring straight at me. She must have been wondering who I was…

She took hold of my hand, and whispered, “take care of her…” She slowly said. “Take care… of Kagome…” Then she fell asleep.

Kagome… is she the one inside her?

“Mrs. Hime, she didn’t make it. We tried our best, but Mrs. Hime couldn’t hold on much longer.” I heard one of the people say dressed in white while I was hiding behind the door from where they spoke.

Another couple had entered the room where the pregnant lady had rested. Not in her sleep though, but in her death. The lady cried onto her husband’s chest desperately.

“Neither did Mr. Hime survive.” The person in white continued.

I walked away from the room filled of salt scented tears, and walked away into the halls filled with even more people in white. Truly this time is different.

When I continued to walk, I smelled a scent. Not just a scent, but her scent.

I began to run through the white halls, until the scent got really strong. I looked to where the scent came from. Their was a huge glass window able to give a view of the room full of… babies. I entered the room, and walked up to the particular scented familiar one. I took a deep fresh air of her scent. And no doubt it. It is her.

She was sleeping in the bed with chords wrapped all over her. I could not see her eye color, so I did not compare her to the girl from my dreams. I heavily sighed, then felt something grab my finger. I looked at my finger, then followed to whoever held it. It was her, the baby that was born from the pregnant lady called Mrs. Hime. And also the baby, Kagome, that will grow up into the one from my dreams. Her eyes were open, staring at me. Her hazel eyes.

“SHE’S ALIVE!?” A woman shouted.

Kagome had let go of me, then I ran out of the room, out onto the balcony from the room.

The woman gasped. “She’s- She is alive!” She said in relief.

“She will be put up for adoption once she is able to be released from the hospital-”

“I’ll adopt her!” The woman shouted.

And she did. She did adopt her.

“What will you name her?”

The woman thought, and thought for a while. “I remember when we were kids,” she began. “We would always think of our future. She one day told me, “When I get married, and have a baby girl, I want to name her, Kagome. Kagome Hime.’” She paused. “I will name her Kagome. Kagome Higurashi.”

Throughout the years, Kagome began to grow and grow into a well mannered young lady. I would always follow her to where she went where I scented danger. I suppose I am Kagome’s stalker. But only for her safety!

Year one, Kagome began to talk. Year five, Kagome began to take piano lessons. Year ten, Kagome began to discover something strange. Not puberty! She accidentally revived a flower from the dead. Even strange for me. Especially how terrified she was. Year fifteen, boys began to flirt non stop with her! Do you know how angry I got!? I wanted to beat the cra- Ah, well! That is until year sixteen. On her sixteenth birthday, that was when her life will change.

But what I still do not understand, was why Mikan wanted to kill Kagome so bad…

I find it quite disturbing, that I, Inuyasha Taisho, age seventy five is stalking a young lady, age sixteen, all around like a lost puppy! Am I not a perverted old man? Well, since Mikan casted that spell on me, I still look twenty five when she had cursed me. But… that would mean that it is a nine year age difference between the sixteen year old and my twenty year old self. But I am no longer a human!

Why does life have to be difficult?

Especially to someone to whom I love?

But to ever think, that we would meet one day, and I confess to her… would she really accept me? Accept a monster?

If you ever do reject me Kagome, I will not stop loving you… nor following you.

I will always be there for you Kagome.

Always and forever.

Kagome, My Love.
