"<blah>" Sora,Kouga and their family speaking in 'Kage no Ookami' (title inspired by Yaoi-junkie *waves* )
On the plane, Sora and Kouga sat next to each other, Shishio and Inuyasha were on their right while Celestine and Sesshoumaru sat behind Shishio and Inuyasha.
"<You shouldn't worry so much chamu (older brother*).>" Sora said.
"<How could I not? The whole village has always wanted me to marry a girl. Your luckt that you have immunity to arranged marriages.>" Kouga responded.
"<You know you do too.>"
"<No, I don't. Your father can only grant immunity to his children. The laws outside the reservation don't really apply, so technically I'm not legally adopted in the eyes of our tribe.>"
"But Didi (father*) granted you immunity, chamu. You'll still marry Inuyasha, whether our tribe agrees our not. You know you have our blessing.>"
Kouga sighed. "<I want to be with him always, chuma (little sister*). I also want our family's blessing.>"
Sora squeezed Kouga's hand reassuringly. "Their blessings don't matter. Only Didi, Sesshoumaru, Shishio, Mifune, and my blessings count. So stop worrying.>"
Shishio and Inuyasha were listening to their conversation with much earnest.
"What do you think they're talking about?" Shishio asked.
Inuyasha shrugged. "Beats me. But I'm kinda sure they're talking about their family."
"I'm sure they're worried about nothing." Shishio stated.
Celestine and Sesshoumaru were holding their own conversation.
"When's the big day?" Celestine asked Sesshoumaru.
"We're still not sure. Sora wants a traditional Japanese wedding. Maybe a month after we return form this trip we'll have the wedding. We should graduate by then." Sesshoumaru answered.
Celestine beamed with joy. "I'm glad my daughter found a decent man to marry."
Sesshoumaru smiled, which was a rarity. "I'm glad you approve of me."
After they got off the plane and arrived at a reservation in North Dakota (AN:dunno if they're really resevations there.) they were greeted by some familiar faces.
"<CHIEF CELESTINE!>" a woman comes from behind them, accompanied by a girl in her teens. They stood in front of Celestine and Sora and bowed.
Celestine approached the two women."<Delia, it's good to see you.>"
"<We were sent to greet you. This is my daughter Nirah.>" The girl bows again.
"<This is Shishio, Sesshoumaru, Sora's fiancee, and Inuyasha. He's, um...>" Celestine struggled for a way to explain this delicate situation.
Kouga cut in to answer. "<He's my best friend.>"
"It's nice to meet you all>" Deliah and Nirah said in unison.
"I'll show everyone to their sleeping arrangements." Celestine stated.
"Already covered, dad. The five of us will share the large hut near yours." Sora said. Celestine had a surprised look on his face.
"Uh, well, sounds alright."
Shishio nudged Inuyasha as they were walking to their hut. "What just happened?"
"I'm guessing he introduced us, since I heard our names." Inuyasha answered.
"Isn't that nice." sarcasm was evident in Shishio's statement.
Inside the huge hut was five beds, two bathrooms and a kitchenette.
"<May I speak with you, Chief Celestine?>" Deliah asked.
"<Of course,>" he turned to the rest of the group, "I'll be back." The three of them, Celestine, Delia and Nirah, stepped outside.
"I gotta bad feeling about this." Kouga said.
"Who are those people?" Inuyasha asked.
"The elder woman is Delia, and the younger one is her daughter Nirah." Sora answered.
"That old woman always wanted me to marry her daughter since...forever!" said Kouga.
"Or since you became my father's son." Sora added.
"You don't have to marry her, do you?" Inuyasha's voice was filled with worry.
Kouga turns to Inuyasha. "Nope, it's totally my choice, and I've already made my choice." Kouga leans in to kiss Inuyasha, but a pillow was thrown at them.
"Cool it you two." Sora said.
"She's right. Now's a good time to keep a low profile until everything is sorted out." Sesesshoumaru stated.
"Awww/" Kouga and Inuyasha said in unison. Celestine stepped back into the room.
"Lemme guess, marriage proposal for me?" Kouga asked, sounding unexcited.
Celestine sighed. "Yes."
"Wow, two in one week. Nice." Even though Kouga was obviously being sarcastic, Inuyasha glared at him as if his glare could severly injure him. Kouga felt his itoshii's glare and turned to him. He gave him a smile and a wink, which melted away that fierce glare.
'I could never stay mad at him.' Inuyasha thought to himself.
"You have nothing to worry about, churak (son*). I told her you weren't interested." Celestine stated.
"Thanks Didi."
"Chief Celestine, Princess Sora." Everyone turns to the door and saw a silouette of a tall man ini the doorway.
"Princess?!" Inuyasha, Shishio, and Sesshoumaru said in unison.
"It's good to see you again."
"Cousin Aoji! Sora exclaimed.
"Aoji!" Kouga said. The two of them ran to the new guest and created a group hug. Shishio stared at the man with black hair cut up to his ears and beautiful piercing blue eyes. He was at least five foot nine inches, three inches taller than himself. He was lightly tanned and was wearing a navy blue shirt with brown pants and no shoes.
'By the gods...' Shisho thought.
"How long will you be here?" Aoji asked.
"About a month." Celestine answered. Aoji smiled.
"That's great."
Shishio wasn't paying the least bit of attention to the conversation, only to the way Aoji's lips moved while he was talking and when his mouth curved into a small smile.
'He's cute...and his smile is so sexy and mysterious.' Inuyasha interrupted his fantasizing with a question.
"What's with him calling you 'Princess'?"
"Since my father is the chief of our tribe, I'm considered one."
"Looks like I got lucky." Sesshoumaru joked. Sora winked at him.
