A.N. This is a really long chapter with a lot of flashbacks so it will be broken up into parts, to help get it out faster. Even though I'm not sure if anybody is even reading it. It will get better I promise. Warning I'm not sure how far I will get in each chapter, so I will warn you now…. It may contain some lime.. If you are not old enough then go away now. On with the story

As Lord Inu Tashio's army ran as quickly as possible to the castle of the beloved family, one question was on everybody's mind. “Who would want to attack a family that is nothing but kind?” Inuyasha's mind was the one that was puzzled the most. He kept thinking of all his memories of that place, and its occupants. Especially the lovely princess. He allowed his mind to drift over everything that happened with the two of them.

 

 

******FLASHBACK*****************

 

“Who are you?” asked a little girl with long black-raven hair.

 

Sniffles, “My name's Inuyasha” A young Inuyasha answered, with tears falling down his face.

 

“Hi Inuyasha! My name's Kagome! Why are you sitting out here, in the garden crying? You should be havin fun.”

 

“I can't have fun. Nobody will play with me.”

 

“I'll play with you. Why wouldn't anyone play with you? You're very cute and I love those ears!” Kagome exclaimed. “I'm 5, how old are you?”

 

“I turn 7 next month. Are you sure you want to play with me? I am just a filthy half-breed after all.”

 

“Yes I would love to play with you. You are not a filthy half-breed, and I don't want to ever hear you say that again. Do you hear me mister?”

 

“Okay, I promise I won't. I like you Kagome. You're nice and cute. Do you want to touch my ears? I'll let you. Most people want to pull them, but they are mean anyway.”

 

Kagome smiled like lights on a christmas tree. “Really?! Thank you. I would never hurt you or your ears. They make you special.

` Kagome said as she gently took his ears in her fingers and began to rub them. “WOW! They're so soft!”

 

“So are you. Thank you for playing with me.”

 

“We haven't played anything yet silly. Do you want to play ball or hide and seek? As my 1st real friend you get to choose.”

 

Inuyasha's eyes opened wide with shock. “You…You. Mean…You my friend?”

 

“Of course. We'll be best friends, always and forever.”

 

“Thank You Kagome. Can we play ball now?”

 

“Okay…..Let's go.”

Inuyasha smiled at the memory. `She was my 1st real friend. And she never let me down!' Then he thought back to when they were a little bit older.

 

*************FLASHBACK******************************************* ****

 

“Princess Kagome…Come out here, or I will come get you.”

 

“But Inuyasha! I just want to finish this picture. Please!!! Oh Fine, I'm coming! Where are we going today?” Kagome asked as she climbed the balacony from her chambers. Turning her head to get an answer, she was met with a fierce but gentle kiss.

 

“Hello beautiful.” Inuyasha said smirking as they pulled away from the kiss for some much needed air.

 

Kagome blushed and smiled at him. “Hello yourself handsome. Now where are we going?”

 

“Just our usual spot. There's something special I want to do for you. If you'll let me.” His ears dropped at the thought of her not letting him do this.

 

Kagome cupped his cheeks in her hands, and once his eyes met hers, she said, “You know I will always let you do anything. I love you that much and always will.”

 

Inuyasha smiled a genuine smile and picked her up bridal style, then took off at a deep run to their favorite picinic spot. Once they reached the spot he was looking for, he gently set her on her feet. He kissed her passionately, one arm around her waist, the other tangling in her hair. As for Kagome, her arms were locked around Inuyasha's neck, and melting into his kiss. Without Kagome noticing, Inuyasha removed his fire rat jacket (all characters will be wearing clothes from the anime/ manga unless otherwise said.) and laid it (well dropped it) on the ground. He then removed his shirt and dropped it as well.

 

When they finally broke for air, Kagome looked at Inuyasha in a daze. Inuyasha looked at her lovingly. His hands lightly grazed her skin, sending shivers over her flawless body.
