InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Soon 2: Back to the Past ❯ Prologue

Hi everyone. This is the sequel to “Soon” and I hope you will enjoy it. I am going to review on what happened to the first installment.

 

To refresh your memories, Kagome committed suicide on the one shot “November Rain” and sort of talked to InuYasha on the other one shot “I Miss You.” Which led to the story “Soon.”

 

Kyoko already knew that she was the reincarnation of Kagome and she has the same memories of Kagome, so she knew what was going on. After her graduation she asked her father to drop off at the Higurashi Shrine and he did. When she arrived, she had a blast of memories.

 

She told Kagome's family who she was and all sorts. Kyoko slept over and in the morning, Yumi, Kagome's mother, called InuYasha and his friends and they came over. It was a happy reunion, but Kagome took over Kyoko's body and she had an even sweeter reunion with our favorite hanyou.

 

Miroku and Shippo seemed to be the only people who knew that Kagome isn't just Kagome. Something was going on.

 

We find out later (remember that Kagome DIED in the Feudal Era, so she can sort of see what will happen in the future, but the future can change a whole lot. Plus, she was buried in the Feudal Era) that Kagome was told that she can be reincarnated by the kamis and she gladly accepted. During her travel down with warrior angels, they were bombarded with evil demons from hell. When the fight was over and they thought they were gone, an evil imp nestled itself inside of Kagome when she went inside of the baby Kyoko.

 

So, Kagome made InuYasha into a demon and made him do her every bid, Kagome was his mistress. InuYasha invited Kyoko to the park since he wasn't able to make it to her 18th birthday and he had a “gift” for her. When she arrived everything went down hill.

 

Well, Kyoko had a nightmare of this event a few days previous and just like she remembered; he was chasing her throughout Tokyo Park, trying to kill her so Kagome can raise hell. She bumped into Miroku and saw the other two with him, Sango and Shippo. Sango told Shippo to take Kyoko to safety and unfortunately, that was the last time that Kyoko would ever see them.

 

Shippo took Kyoko to a shack and she told him what happened and they found out that they loved each other and then InuYasha found them. Shippo told her to run and that was the last time that she will see him.

 

InuYasha caught up with her and she made an astral projection of herself and went to fight Kagome in her mind. Kyoko won and Kagome went back to he kamis. Kyoko had to kiss InuYasha so he wouldn't become a demon forever. On their way to his apartment, he died.
