“Do you think that she will find out before it's too late?” asked Sango. They knew what was going on. They are angels anyways. Time warps and other things have no effect on them whatsoever.

“I think she will. She is the reincarnation of Kagome and Kikyo. Her powers are doubled and stronger,” said Miroku.

“I think she will do fine,” said Shippo as he looked down the clouds and watched over the woman he fell in love with.

Before Kyoko walked home she visited Kagome's gravesite. She laid some blossoms on top of it. Then, she started to walk home. She was holding the Sacred Jewel in her hand. It was glowing pink and she was staring at it.

“Great, I am the next protector of the Jewel, just what I wanted. Why did I have to be the rebirth of Kagome and Kikyo anyways? Humph, there's too many stuff on my plate: finding the evil, protecting the Jewel, and not telling my family that I am from the future. How did they ever do this?” said Kyoko.

She walked pass the Tokyo Park. She stopped at the entrance and looked at it. There were still tree stumps standing. She remembered when InuYasha was slashing them away, trying to get to her. Kyoko supposed that the park people would get rid of them sometime and put new trees in the same spot.

Kyoko walked inside. She was pondering what the evil demon would be. How come she never sensed any in her time? Sure she could have passed the demon anywhere, unless the demon used a concealment spell.

Kyoko went to the run down shack where Shippo was murdered. Kyoko remembered that she used to come here every other week to lay flowers on the mini grave. She also did it to Miroku and Sango. Kyoko made one for InuYasha by the married couple, but she couldn't really make a gravesite in a middle of a sidewalk since he died on the footpath, can she?

“Everything is all right Shippo, except I am back from twelve years from the future, heh. Boy, I would need your help and Miroku and Sango and Kagome and InuYasha by now. You see, I have to find the new evil and I can't do it by myself. But, I think I can, since you four are above and watching over me. Then, there's Midoriko, right?” Kyoko told the small tombstone.

There were small daisies by the site and she picked one. She laid it on the site and kissed it. She slid her hands down the stone and stood up and walked away. She walked past the gravestone of Miroku, Sango, and InuYasha. She laid flowers on their sites also.

She continued on her journey towards home. It was about a mile or so away. She just needed the time to think on what to do.

“I know that I have to find out soon before it's too late,” she told herself. But who can it be? She knows that she can't walk up to someone, tap him or her on the shoulder, and ask if he or she is an evil demon.

`I must train to make my powers stronger. A demon that is concealing its powers must be very, very strong. I have to make sure that my miko powers are strong enough to at least seek though the concealment if I pass it on the street or if I am on the same vehicle as it,' she thought.

She heard a horn beeping at her and she turned around. She couldn't make out the figure behind the wheel until the car pulled along aside of her. Kyoko couldn't believe it was he of all people. Haru. It was good 'ol Haru.

“Hey Miyoshi, need a lift?” he asked her.

Kyoko smiled and opened the door to get in. Once she was in, she put on her seatbelt; he took off to her house.

“Why are you walking out here so late?” he asked her.

“I left the Higurashi Shrine and decided to just look around the Tokyo Park. I thought that you were going to America?” she answered.

“I am, in a month or so,” he told her.

“Oh, well, as I said before, have a great time,” she said.

Haru nodded. It was five minutes later when he stopped in front of her house. Haru stopped the motor and looked at Kyoko. Man, he was so much in love with the woman sitting next to him. After so many attempts asking her out, she denied him, except once.

Kyoko started to get uncomfortable. Twelve years into the future, Haru would be one of the richest men of Japan and he had three wives and never divorced. Who would have known that the nicest guys she knows became…that?

“Well, I should go and thank you for dropping me off,” she said and ran out of the car and into her house.
