Kyoko arrived at the base of the mountain. She paid the driver and started walking towards the building, which looked run down and abandoned. She looked around to see if there were any other buildings, but there wasn't. The pull she had at the library, she was having it again. It was like telling her to go in. Kyoko started walking towards the run down structure.

She opened the door and dust flew out. She sneezed and coughed and waved her hand in front of her face so the dust would fly up her nose and into her eyes. She looked around and the force was pulling her to the back of the room.

When she arrived, she saw that there was a small, tiny shrine. She kneeled before it and cocked her head to the right.

`What is this? Why am I drawn to this?' she asked herself.

Her head started to nod back and forth. Her eyes started to quiver. She fell on her side and went to a dreamlike state.

Everywhere around her was mist. She looked around and saw a young Kaede next to her.

`What the hell is going on?' she questioned in her mind.

“Ye are supposing why I am here child?” Kaede asked Kyoko. Kyoko nodded in response.

“I am here to help train your powers, as I did to Kagome. Kikyo and Kagome can't come here since they have been corrupted once in their lives and the kamis don't want to risk them coming here. Midoriko cannot help you since she is too busy fighting the demons in the Jewel,” she told her.

Kyoko had a question. “Why were you placed here?”

Kaede answered, “I wanted to be buried here. I have always loved the mountain and it looked so peaceful.”

The girl looked at the apparition. She would have never thought she would look so beautiful since she has only seen the priestess at an old age.

“So you know about the evil, huh?” she told the priestess.

“Yes, why do ye think I am here?” said Kaede. Kyoko kept her mouth shut after that.

Throughout the whole entire day, Kaede has been giving the young girl advice and basically telling her to concentrate on the power that is flowing through her veins. She told her to keep her mind on the energy glowing in her soul. She also taught her how to use bow and arrow and to fight.

“How can you know how to fight Kaede?” Kyoko asked.

“When I was younger, I fought demons when they invaded villages and did mischief. I couldn't fight once I became old,” replied Kaede.

It was sunset and Kyoko knew she had to get home or her father and brother would call the cops and the FBI.

“I better be going Kaede. Thank you so much for the training and advice, I will remember them,” she thanked and left the building.

She ran down the driveway and ran down the road. She raced through the streets that were lit by streetlights. She zigzagged though people that were walking on the sidewalk. The girl ignored their annoyed looks and some gave her rude gestures. She had to go home. She didn't feel right on this night somehow. She felt that something sinister would happen. She wanted to be under her warm, secure blankets.

Kyoko arrived home and she was gasping for air when she walked into the house. Inside, everything was dark. She supposed that the males of the house were already in bed. She walked up the stairs and went straight to her room and onto her bed. She didn't bother taking off her clothes and put her pajamas on. She just wanted to sleep and that was what she did.
