Kyoko's father never came home after work. The police rang the doorbell and Kyoko went to answer it. When she opened the door, she saw their solemn faces. Her heart missed a beat and she had a bad feeling in the pit in her stomach. She had a questionable look on her face.
“Miss Miyoshi, we don't have any good news. Your father, Kin, died in a car accident. We can't find the cause, but when we do, we will inform you. Good night,” said the police officer.
When the car drove off, Kyoko slid onto her knees and she was in shock. All sorts of emotions were going through her: stunned, confused, saddened, and seeking the need to revenge, to avenge her father's death. Something inside of her was telling her that this was no accident…this was murder.
Tears started to come down her face when she was standing back on her feet. She started to stagger up the stairs. She went inside her room and flopped onto her bed. Her father never died in her future, so she started to realize that the new evil must have done it. She will get the evil and she will do anything to kill it.
Kyoko sniffed and saw Kirara jump on the bed. The cat sat next to her and laid a paw on the girl's lap. The demon looked up at her. Kyoko knew that she was trying to comfort her. The girl managed a smile and petted Kirara's head.
Then, she realized that her brother isn't home. She heard a door slam and ran down the stairs from her room. Kyoko saw Jiro walking to the kitchen. He opened the refrigerator door and took out a can of soda. He turned around and saw his little sister's tear stricken face.
“Kyoko, what's wrong?” he asked her as he opened the can with a loud SNAP.
“Dad…dad…dad died in a car accident,” she choked out.
Jiro's mouth hung open. He was holding the can near his mouth and he froze in that position. He was speechless. His sister walked to him and hugged him. Jiro put his can down and hugged her back. Kyoko for a second could feel something sinister in his aura, but shrugged it off. She thought she was imagining it.
“Everything is going to be okay. I'll take care of you until you live on your own, if you want,” Jiro whispered. Kyoko nodded.
Jiro's eyes started to cloud over with coldness and malevolence. His mouth curled into a smirk. His plan is going very well. His mind went back three hours earlier.
+Flashback+
Jiro was watching Kin's movements. He couldn't stand his father. He was weak and dull. Jiro wanted to get rid of him.
Kin was driving back home with groceries in the car. He was going to make his famous grilled salmon with brown rice. His children loved it. He loved his children. They were so good to him.
He was seven miles from home when he saw a figure standing in the middle of the road. Kin leaned over his steering wheel and was squinting his eyes, trying to see who the person was.
“Jiro?” he mouthed. His foot went on the brakes and started to slow down so he wouldn't hit his son. He would never forgive himself if he hurt his son.
Kin saw Jiro's hand rise and waved it above his head. A dark ominous cloud started to form above their heads. A small demon appeared with white hair and expressionless eyes appeared. She was holding a mirror and she said, “Give me…your soul.”
A light went out of the mirror and went straight towards Kin. Kin hit the brakes and screamed. He made a gagging noise when his soul was being sucked out. When the light faded away, the girl disappeared.
“Perfect,” was all Jiro said. He lifted his hand again and another figure appeared. A woman holding a fan appeared.
“Use your powers so it would it seem that he hit a tree,” ordered Jiro. The woman did what she was told and then disappeared.
“Ha, using the spirits of my incarnations was a great idea. I should be going,” he said and disappeared. Everything is going perfect.

“Everything will be all right. I will make sure nothing will harm you,” Jiro lied.
